  1. There is no rapprochement concerning those Islamic Muslims who are involved concerning acts of cold blooded murder in societies throughout the world including Canada. Muslims in general could all be considered potential suspects simply concerning the nature of the Islamic faith. Are you suggesting it is criminal to be leery of Muslims in general? I would squarely put the blame on your Muslim brothers who are creating world wide havoc. What is the point of your reply where you state without proof " When someone lays a charge or implies treasonous behaviour against an identifiable group such as Canadians of the Muslim faith, those statements are very close to prescription by Canada's hate laws. How much better to seek rapprochement then reasons to hate." Unless your more specific with your charges I suggest you take it up with the proper authorities or I could in fact interpret what your saying as a direct threat in order to stifle any anti-Muslim dialogue especially on a site that incorporates free speech.
  2. All this is is another scam. Carbon offsets are projects that reduce or prevent the accumulation of global warming gasses and you contribute towards these projects that are suppose to do this which might or might not be tax deductible. http://www.nrdc.org/thisgreenlife/0606.asp...CFShHPgod4QPiIw
  3. I don't know a destructive piece of legislation like the 'Charter of rights and Freedoms' can continue to be allowed to be implemented in it's present form. This Charter allows groups to crap on Canadians and their values, traditions and customs and opens the door to a dangerous dysfunctional society and allows foreign nationalities to change the face of Canada with THEIR customs, traditions and languages. I doubt if Pierre Trudeau ever envisioned outside of Quebec other foreign nationalities presenting a serious problem threatening Canadian values, lifestyles and politics. But then who knows for sure, as a man as determined as Mr. Trudeau to put Quebec on the map initially would be capable of anything without worrying about consequences at a later date.
  4. What does free speech have to do with the private cultural practices of the Iroquis Confederacy?
  5. What is RACIAL PROFILING'? "For the purposes of its inquiry, the Commission’s definition for "racial profiling" is any action undertaken for reasons of safety, security or public protection, that relies on stereotypes about race, colour, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, or place of origin, or a combination of these, rather than on reasonable suspicion, to single out an individual for greater scrutiny or different treatment." Why do you keep pulling out the race card in times when national security especially applied to air travel is a main concern? Notice that in the definition of racial profiling it states rather than stereotype but " rather than on reasonable suspicion to single out an individual for grater scrutiny or different treatment." In the world of to-days terrorism I think it is totally reasonable based on statistics to pay extra attention to Arab Muslims. What is happening is not racial profiling but 'terrorist profiling' and it's to bad Arab Muslim terrorist are ruining it for their Arab Muslim brothers. http://www.ohrc.on.ca/english/consultation...ort-fact1.shtml
  6. They didn't in the US in September 2001. You can't really compare only one year, it's only fair to look at all the statistics. Even in 2001, the numbers weren't that different....any other year and the number of underage alcohol related deaths is much higher than deaths from terrorism in the U.S. What does the deaths of underage alcohol related deaths who have contributed greatly to their own deaths have to do with being done in by murderous terrorist which can only be compared to acts of genocide. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocide
  7. It's amazing how few Canadians know this. The word should be spread.. the media or elites won't allow us to even talk about.. maybe a website with videa needs to be launched on this. I'm tired of people who live in some of the best countries in the world whining about imperfections. How would you enjoy Cuba? Saudi Arabia? Democratic Kampuchea? The promotion of RACISM within the borders of it's own country by government forces is no minor matter pertaining to advanced, civilized modern countries.
  8. The federal government shares heath care with the provinces who are responsible for implementing it within their own province. Really though you need someone to oversee health concerning the national scene and ensure all provinces get first hand information and federal help concerning a multitude of health related issues. http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/ahc-asc/activit/index_e.html
  9. It is only strange if you have a natural reflex to mind other people's business rather than your own. The issues you raised (French Charter; 'notwithstanding clause') are exclusively within the jurisdiction of Quebec. Therefore, let them rule themselves their own way. That is their right within Canadian federalism The issue of the funding to federal political parties is a federal issue. It is only fair that everybody is treated equally. Canada is NOT a true democracy it is a dictatorship based on the METHOD votes apply to the winning party. In saying this it means there is NOBODY to ensure all Canadians are treated equally since standards are dependent on the party in power. You say "it is only fair that everybody is treated equally". Well, Canadians are not being treated equally. If we were we would not allow a single province to implement racist policies and abuse the notwithstanding clause by simply renewing it every five years without proving why it's use must be extended. We all know why don't we and that is to 'cop out' of requirements concerning our constitution. Does the constitution really mean NOTHING through the eyes of Quebec and if it does mean nothing why should it mean anything to all other Canadians who abide by our constitution.
  10. Now Muslims shouldn't travel? Muslims who are not terrorists shouldn't deny being a terrorist? Leafless, you are being irrational. You should face facts. Pertaining to Canada and the U.S.A the majority White are the host to many immigrants of different nationalities. They are also the target from Muslim aggression in the way of terrorist attacks pertaining to outright hate of White Christian Westerners. Whites have a right to protect their homeland and expect co-operation especially from Arab Muslims the same nationality that are the source of terrorism. It should also be expected that Arab Muslims display a little common sense concerning travel especially to their homeland during times of high anxiety involving terrorist activity. If arrested on suspicion of terrorist activity or searched while travelling so what as this could be expected in times of high terrorism alert or basically any time since terrorist attacks is an on going OCCUPATION with Arab Muslims terrorist. My suggestion to Muslims is if they want to avoid the potential of being arrested has a suspect terrorist or being searched is to stay home, stay put in Canada and blame no one for this kind of predicament outside of your own Arab Muslims extremist who travel around the world killing people.
  11. In Canadian federalism, I do not see why it should not. It is strange you should say this especially when you said: "It sounds more like a selective socialist attack ganging up on a minority group. In this case, separatists are the target. Joseph Stalin would be proud." IOW your saying hands off Quebec no matter what Quebec does. Maybe it's time other provinces employ Quebec tactics to enforce their provincial rights in order to protect their provincial interest.
  12. How one hand you can say we will never run out of oil or have an infinite supply and the blame consumers for setting the price of oil. Would the answer not be if the demand is there to build more REFINERIES? You say natural gas prices are dropping considerably when the U.S. is facing a severe shortage and Canadians paying more than ever before. Everything you say is unsubstantiated and it seems is based soley on your logic which supports your polluting Alberta based oil industry.
  13. He asked for an apology and an explanation of what happened. That's a chip? Rather than co-operate, if you follow media reports most suspected terrorist go into some sort of extreme denial like Mahar Arar who has cost the tax payers a small fortune rather than blame himself for travelling at a dangerous time pertaining to terrorist activity.
  14. No. Funding our "democracy" is. Funny how we conveniently use "democracy" to wield power and forget about it when it does not suit us, is it not? I agree Charles, what a ridiculous attitude from some of these people. We going to stop programs and access to some people based on colour next too? If everyone has equal rights, which they should, then the sepertists have a right to the money. They pay for this country too. Does implementing a racist document like the French Charter and renewing the 'notwithstanding clause' every five years to continue this oppression justify the right to do this simply because Quebecers pay federal taxes?
  15. The ignorance on these forums is incredible. You act like mob bosses when their houses get robbed. You start (escalate) "whacking" people without ever asking yourselves how all that nice stuff got into your house in the first place. Tell me, if terrorism is your bag where did you get the initial idea that terrorism is the correct way to go about whatever your group is trying to impress on world societies?
  16. I have a better question: should separatist families be required to pay federal taxes? This has got nothing to do with separatist families pertaining to federal taxes as they have no choice but to pay federal taxes until Quebec if it ever does, separate. But in reply to August's question I think it would be up to the discretion of the separatist family to consider how important it is to them to respect separatist ideologies to decide whether to cash the cheque or tear it up and throw it in the waste paper basket. This would determine true separatist loyalties. This is a personal thing relating to one's personal standards.
  17. Tar sand oil will sound cheap compared to the energy requirements to process shale oil. To bad August doesn't understand that many industries, clothing, computers, thousands of plastic manufactured articles all require oil and that's why we can't leave it in the ground till next year because if we did the economy would collapse. Natural gas prices have no where to go but up. There's a shortage predicted in the U.S.
  18. 10-11% of Canadians vote for the BQ which means they are entitled to any funding that is allocated based on the number of votes cast. Personally, I would rather see a system that allocates funding based on the number of votes cast per riding in the entire country. This would help encourage nation parties instead of regional ones. The FPP system already gives regional parties many advantages - we don't need a funding system that makes this problem worse. I agree and I would like to see this system extended to determine the winning party. FPP is totally unfair and if the party you voted for doesn't make it your vote means NOTHING. If voters are as important as politicians say they are rather than the political party , we would have a PR system tomorrow.
  19. How about taking the emphasis off of 'lack of oil' to cover the expected huge increase due to 'supply and demand'. Hey, investors have to make a living you know. But no matter how you look at it we are in trouble.
  20. What a senseless thing to say considering no one is burning Arab Muslims at the stake. People have a right to be suspicious considering the evidence and track record of terrorist who just happen to be mostly ALL Arab Muslims who have been responsible for the extremely large majority of concerning acts of terrorism.
  21. The Conservatives raised-$4 million in the last quarter. The Liberals raised-$1.2 million in the last quarter. The Bloc raised -$27,566.96 in the last quarter but received $727,092 from the Canadian government , tax payers of Canada whose main goal is to separate from the country that is giving them this financial advantage. What separatist in their right mind or for that matter even call themselves a separatist for taking this kind of money from all places, the Federal Government of Canada. It was Jean Chretien who greased the wheels grinding out 'the federal political financing law' in which ALL so called federal parties benefit and receive $1.75 for each vote garnered in the January election including a complicated formula giving the parties about .44 cents a vote for the quarter from the treasury. http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/news/s...7f9&k=79883
  22. You say you hate being a hyphenated Canadian but yet support multiculturalism and it's list of sub-catergories. How can this be possible since as well as making you a 'hyphenated Canadian' it is destructive to national unity and Canadian nationalism thus removing the crieteria concerning a common Canadian identity. I personally do not support multiculturalism and I think most native Canadians realize the list of growing serious problems associated with our type of multiculturalism will eventually result in a fractured dysfunctional country.
  23. That explains how he became Liberal executive member under Pierre Trudeau. At least he's got more of a vocabulary than Jean Charest who could only describe the whole matter using a single word "crude". "Premier Jean Charest said Wednesday the suggestion in a National Post headline that an independent Quebec would become "Quebecistan," a haven for Islamic extremists, is "crude."
  24. In this case no space would be saved if I addressed each entry separately which in any event could be confusing. Why can't you reply to the post in it's entirety utilizing your own intelligence rather than picking apart a pile of sentences with multiple quotes?
  25. Barbara Kay's article "The rise of Quebecistan" is a very valid article IMO and here's why: http://www.canadafreepress.com/2006/wajsman082106.htm http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...6lr%3D%26sa%3DG
