First Nations Summit Ends In Disaster For Carney
LinkSoul60 replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
No they wouldn't, and you would be in your glory with your proud Poilievre poster hanging over your bed. But alas.... it wasn't meant to be again so back to the crying well we go. -

Create a fake question...really? I'm aware of Alberta's oil & gas gripes, but do you think this would be a conversation had the conservatives won? -
Why...because they didn't entirely know what they were dealing with. The most important job of any government, company, school or anything else is to protect its people. They errored on the side of caution as they should have. WTF are you talking about? Playing expert while having hindsight is pretty easy isn't it....

Yes, it is a question and thanks for answering. No, it wouldn't be a topic had the conservatives won. -
You obviously didn't read the part - 'It's peoples choice whether they want to get vaccinated or not, but if they potentially compromise others because of that choice then that's where the mandating of the vaccine and restrictions rightfully apply'. Go cry about the misdeeds to fools and conspiracies with someone else.

But to the question.... Would this even be a topic if the conservatives had won? Answer - no it wouldn't. I want to leave Canada because we didn't win, again 🥲 -
Getting the vaccine wasn't mandated to everyone. It was a choice that 80% of the population did. Going outside wasn't restricted at all...indoor settings were. It's peoples choice whether they want to get vaccinated or not, but if they potentially compromise others because of that choice then that's where the mandating of the vaccine and restrictions rightfully apply. Of the G10 countries Canada managed the pandemic second best behind Japan so the government did their job....protecting its citizens. As far as the subject of lockdowns.... Houston is doing the right thing... siding with caution.

It's close because some Albertans are crying because they lost a federal election again? I disagree... Do you think the topic would have been raised if the conservatives had won.... I don't, which says this is just 'sour grapes'. Canada with all its provinces are going to be here long after you and I are no longer. -
Many Canadian's are looking for alternatives to US products.... tariffed or not. Carney's doing the right thing so far. He's dealing with a 79 year old child who wets his pants when things don't go his way and/or people retaliate. All tariff's clicked in today for the US so only a matter of time before inflation starts to become noticeable and pressure mounts on Trump....assuming of course he doesn't fire everyone and hires lackeys to provide 'his' data.

It's not going to happen so a moot point. Funny that it's only hardcore conservatives crying again about this because they lost again. Time to get over it and move on....
