Sometimes your take on things is so upside down. If anyone is playing politics with the prize, it is Trump and Machado. The Nobel Committee is acting from principle and trying to protect the integrity of the prize.

The Nobel Committee released another statement today - One of the core missions of the Nobel Foundation is to safeguard the dignity of the Nobel Prizes and their administration. The Foundation upholds Alfred Nobel’s will and its stipulations. It states that the prizes shall be awarded to those who “have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind,” and it specifies who has the right to award each respective prize. Thanks for the welcome back, User. Actually, I am a retired teacher who took up writing as a hobby in my retirement, and I have spent the last few days working on a couple of short stories. And I needed to get away a bit from the constant hate and insults on this forum. It seems the world around us is burning, and there are posters here who are only concerned with inflicting damage on the ones they perceive to be their enemies.

Below is Trump's social media post of today. He writes - "World Peace is at stake!" A look inside the twisted mind of a buffoon who is currently the greatest threat to world peace - We have subsidized Denmark, and all of the Countries of the European Union, and others, for many years by not charging them Tariffs, or any other forms of remuneration. Now, after Centuries, it is time for Denmark to give back — World Peace is at stake! China and Russia want Greenland, and there is not a thing that Denmark can do about it. They currently have two dogsleds as protection, one added recently. Only the United States of America, under PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP, can play in this game, and very successfully, at that! Nobody will touch this sacred piece of Land, especially since the National Security of the United States, and the World at large, is at stake. On top of everything else, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland have journeyed to Greenland, for purposes unknown. You're right about one thing. They are facts. If they are constant it is because Trump keeps doing twisted things. But you do. I am driven by the truth, that is true. Better than mistaking a demon for a savior.
