They had already recounted several times with the machines. The issue was that there were the hanging chads, pregnant chads... the recounts Gore wanted to do were based on "interpreting" someone's intent through hand recounts and saying that if a chad was indented, well, obviously that was meant to be a vote for Gore... and he wanted to selectively recount ballots that would favor him the most. And yet... Gore still went on to say he should have been President after it was all over. Gore tried to steal the election as much as Trump did, to play legal theories that the Supreme Court ruled as violating the law. He also had his lawyers try to challenge all the overseas military ballots they could to try to skew the vote in his favor. Lets not pretend like Gore was not pushing whatever legal boundaries he could get away with here. And no, Gore would not have won. The Ballots were already recounted, what he wanted was to interpret the intent of voters when they did not clearly mark their ballots. Only if you hand recount the problem ballots and give Gore the 100% most favorable "interpretation" of presuming someone voted for him, even though they didn't clearly mark their ballots, would he have maybe have won, and that was not even what Gore was asking for in his recount challenge. And being a Homemaker is not a luxury that only rich people can afford. It is something many families make sacrifices for because they want to invest more into their home and children. An outright lie. Israel goes out of its way to drop leaflets, phone call, drop knockers, all to get civilians out of the area. There are exceptions for certain high priority targets, but Hamas operating from civilian infrastructure is on Hamas. They don't just have one random guy living in his apartment... they embed the bulk (if not all) of their military under civilian infrastructure, in it, or right next to it. They fire rockets from schools, they hide in Hospitals. Israel goes out of their way to minimize collateral damage, as evidenced by the bomb to death ratio. If they were leveling whole blocks full of people to kill one Hamas fighter, there would be 100 times more dead then there are.

Who said that? The post you responded to dit not assert that. I am glad you agree, though, that it is absurd to think Israel should have engaged in any peace with Hamas on day 2 just because they offered the Hostages.

The outcome is not pretty much assured at all. Here we are over 2 years later. Russia has suffered more losses, more losses to equipment, and are barely making any gains at all for the cost in manpower and equipment. So, what is your motivation? Why do you continue to push inaccurate assertions and things that might as well be Russian propaganda? The killing can end if Russia quits fighting and withdraws. Why do you not spend your time focused on demanding that? Condemning them? On wanting more support for Ukraine to force Russia's hand? Ukraine is fighting now.

Hamas had just engaged in one of the most horrific terrorist attacks in modern history and one of the most significant attacks on Jews since the Holocaust. They raped, tortured, killed women & Children and took hostages. And you are here arguing Israel should have been like, OK, no big deal, just give us the Hostages back and all is good. That IS EXACTLY why Hamas takes hostages, to hide behind them. The get to commit the rape, torture, killings and get away with it because they also took hostages. The hostages were only half the demand, after what Hamas did, there is no more peace, there is only their destruction or surrender to prevent it from happening again.
