  1. Nothing new here. This stuff should be common sense. When you have someone like Biden and the Democrats take office, where they immediately enact something like 90+ Executive Orders to weaken our border security policies, they openly encourage illegal immigration through action and words. Guess what? More people flock to the borders.
  2. Israel is currently under a war cabinet, with the opposition party leader in that cabinet. This is little more than a left-wing talking point right now, trying to make it appear as if Netanyahu is some dictator. The man was elected to his position before this, and Israel has had an election every year or two prior. Israel is a Democracy. Netanyahu has been elected many times.
  3. Or... you might consider what those Republicans and many of their constituents are demanding: Serious legislation to secure our border. Yes, there is a small fraction of the GOP that, for any amount of flawed reasoning, does oppose sending more aid to Ukraine, just as there is that kind of fraction of the Democrats who also oppose aid to Israel. Most of the Republicans who voted no on Ukraine aid were doing so because they wanted to see an aid package and legislation improving our border security first or something more to control our budget deficit/debt.
  4. Are there not enough moderators on the site to help manage this? I have been waiting for days now to have a post approved and it is not the weekend. There needs to be a better process to prove we are not bots. Note: I am still not approved as I am posting this message.
  5. No. Renting or leasing a home is not the same as buying a meal or other service. Your entire livelihood is tied to living somewhere. There should be a fair amount of time for the two parties to resolve their differences. I rented for a bit, and my landlord upped my rent, and my autopay was still set to the old amount. They immediately proceeded with an eviction notice the next day when I was short 25 dollars. Should I have been evicted immediately for failure to pay? No. I understand why they started the eviction process as quickly as they did. Even after the initial notice, they have to give you time, and they want to start that clock as soon as possible.
  6. Polls may not always be perfect, but they can be a good indicator of outcomes. Still, there is a way to go until the election; a lot can happen, but the current trends have been in Trump's favor, and compared to the polls from the last two elections, these are some of the best polling numbers Trump has had... and he won in 2016 with worse polls and was not too far off from winning some of these battle ground states in 2020.
