Long standing Republican policies and assaults on the middle class have left us as follows. To make it today there's very few avenues for success left here for our younger generation. Yes one way is get a really good education, (and I'm not talking just a BS anymore) but a Master's or Doctorates in special study in medicine, law, economics. But unfortunately that's costly and impossible for many. The next is Civil Service. Become a cop, fireman, work for the county or even your state DOT, public service. Fantastic benefits. Great healthcare and retirement benefits, at least in Blue Democratically run states. The next most difficult and final is venture is to set off into your own business. Downsides are lack of any social safety nets. Poor retirement income because the majority of small business owners show low income for tax purposes and put little into Social Security. And a government that seems to do anything and everything to stymie entrepreneurship despite claims to being the small business party. There's still union jobs as plumbers, iron workers, construction but due to the Republican assault on unions that's largely faded in all but a few Democratically run states. Last but not least is inherent money.

It is, and although the concept is not new it's is a shame that elected officials can inspire such adversarial reactions among the general public. Comes largely from lockstep partisanship which benefits one group, or makes one group believe they're getting some sort of benefit and another group being totally shut out. In life we have to make a choices on educated decisions, then you choose your poison.

Child, try giving us thoughts instead of reposting rubbish created from others already flawed thoughts that you just happened to think were dandy. You see you'll never be taken seriously on this forum or anywhere in life but maybe by other non thinkers in your family or friends. Life is too short to be a dullard child. Education, knowledge, travel are key.

I guess it would be safe to say the American Experiment is no longer what it used to be. Today's American experiment is run and analyzed by our enemies. Vlad in the east currently runs such an experiment and no doubt wrings his hands in delight.

There was a lot to be learned from our first real pandemic in over 100 yrs. Data and safeguards from the Spanish Flu was unreliable in this day and age. It was a war and strategy is adjusted as you progress, or regress in our case once Trump and his cabinet decided they were smarter than scientists. The CDC did what they could with barriers of ignorance, religion, business leaders and politics being thrown up in front of them daily.

OK here then. Let's forget the Covid pandemic. And let's say our enemies are probably delighted with the handling and division a crisis situation created in our country where a strong display of intelligence and unity would have served us better. How a country handles a nationwide catastrophe says alot in the eyes of the world. And under T-Rumps and Republican leadership we failed miserably.

Imagine the Covid Virus was a test by China, with it's leadership perfectly willing to accept collateral damage of their own people. The Virus was released and in our usual unabiding fashion of dealing with crisis we proved beyond a shadow of a doubt, (with the relentless support of right wing America of course) that we are unable to deal with any disaster without eating each other in the process. Yes the numbers don't lie folks. What will the next strain of respiratory virus be? Perhaps ten times more deadly than Covid 19. And yes they do exist. And yes our enemies now know that a large enough science denying portion of our country will make sure it's an astounding success ?
