  1. Florida's superior public schools have much more stringent rules concerning bullying. Each teacher and sub has to sit through many classes on the subject, even more classes than the ones on asbestos. In each school is a bullying hotline. Each teacher has got to be on the lookout for ANY behavior that would even resemble bullying. One day, a young kid (maybe third grade) came up to me to complain about being bullied. I marched that kid directly to the principal's office and told everyone what was happening. I then sat in front of the kid and told him to speak very clearly, try to remember each incident and to not be afraid to name names. I never knew if the principal was grateful for my actions or was somehow put out by the inconvenience, but I didn't give a rat's ass. I had a job to do. And I certainly would have no problem seeing a principal lose HIS job if he isn't doing it as well. I never knew the outcome of that incident because I sub at many schools. Hadn't been back to that one in a few years, so probably the kid is either in middle school or has moved away.
  2. And WOKE is to blame. https://www.foxnews.com/us/chicago-prep-schools-negligent-behavior-toward-cyberbullying-led-students-suicide-parents-allege Chicago prep school's 'negligent behavior' toward cyberbullying led to student's suicide, parents allege "Their first instinct, their second instinct and third instinct was to protect themselves and their careers. They could literally care less about the truth," Robert Bronstein said of the school, which he claimed acted with "cruelty and the callousness" before and after their son's death. Issues at school Prior to his suicide, the school's dean of students allegedly contacted the Bronsteins to tell them Nate had been put on notice for not wearing his mask correctly over his nose. The same dean of students, however, apparently failed to contact the Bronsteins when their son was being bullied, according to their lawsuit against the school. The Bronsteins enrolled Nate, whom they described as a "bright" and "energetic" boy with an intense love for sports, at The Latin School of Chicago as a sophomore in the fall of 2021. He had spent the last year online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and his parents wanted him to go back to in-person learning, which The Latin School, founded in 1888, promised parents. But when Nate started school, he was apparently subject to rumors that he had enrolled during his sophomore year "for nefarious reasons," Rose Bronstein said. The Bronsteins enrolled Nate, whom they described as a "bright" and "energetic" boy with an intense love for sports, at The Latin School of Chicago as a sophomore in the fall of 2021. (Rose and Robert Bronstein) Students wondered why he was there, whether he was a problem child, whether he had been kicked out of his last school or expelled β€” none of which is true, Rose said. "They spread rumors that he was unvaccinated, which, of course, at the time was like β€˜The Scarlet Letter,’" she explained. Typical inferior blue state public school strikes again. Forget the lawsuit. This school should be closed and ALL teachers involved with this student should be fired.
  3. (To save the posters from having to deal with NBC's left wing biased nonsense, I'll summarize this article. It is about ten year olds working at a Louisville Kentucky McDonalds, which is ILLEGAL.) What does the article have to do with the subject of the thread? For that matter, what does it have to do with Capitalism paying for schools? Capitalism pays for EVERYTHING, and generally the free market makes everything cost less. Without Capitalism, there are no jobs, which means no money to either (a) pay tuition at a private school, or (b) pay taxes to fund a public school. To answer your question about whether or not "it is enough," it is a fact that today MORE money is being spent per student today than at any other time in history. When I started substitute teaching, the students learned about computers by going to large computer labs, and working solely on desktops, with those huge square monitors. Today, each classroom has enough chromebooks for EVERY student of EVERY grade, and those chromebooks are faster and more state of the art than those desktops of 1999. For that matter, EVERY student (and this is at least grade two to senior) has a cell phone with more computing power than those desktops of 1999. Stuff like that. More money is being spent and technology makes better use of that money. It doesn't solve ALL the problems of public education. It doesn't come anywhere CLOSE to that. Capitalism cannot solve all the problems of humanity. But it solves more than any other system.
  4. Stupid rubbish from someone too ignorant to learn to read. Crawl back under your rock. Adults are communicating here.
  5. Then why do SOCIALIST states have the WIDEST gap? Rich government POOR everybody else? Splain that.
  6. I got that bit about "divide." Kinda hard to link math with anti-capitalism, since math is supposed to be hard logic. What people need to understand about Capitalism is that it is a very NATURAL way for humans to interact with each other to mutual benefit. It is actually a force of nature.
  7. There has always been a growing gap between achievers and non achievers. Capitalism did two things: 1. SHORTENED that gap, and 2. Made provisions for the non achievers to become achievers. In Socialism, there are two classes: 1. Government RICH. 2. Everybody else equally POOR.
  8. Here we have a poorly educated blue stater who still believes in unicorns and fairy queens. I'll put this in numbered points, so your handler can find it easier to explain this to you. 1. ALL economics systems are models of human behavior. That makes them models of NATURE. 2. In NATURE, some do better than others but soon all creatures die. So the concept of winners and losers really only applies to sports and ignorant WOKE ideology. 3. Capitalism as a system has the greatest number of winners and the fewest number of losers. Capitalism provides for a middle class. Socialism has NO middle class.
  9. What does divide and conquer have to do with capitalism? Divide and conquer is a war strategy. Capitalism is AN Economics system.
  10. It means EVERY Democrat president since Johnson (including that racist SOB) is Woke. Trump is the most honest president in history.
  11. If he espouses modern day Democrat ideology, he IS a Nazi. Same program, same tactics.
  12. You rarely are involved in any real intelligent argument here. Mostly you just engage in TROLLING behavior and throw out a lot of irrelevant shit because you're too stupid to engage in any real debate. Crawl back under your rock, TROLL.
  13. Actually I get my political views from a long life of study, reliable sources and generally better intelligence than any liberal. You're a prime example of a TOTALLY IGNORANT LEFT WING GOOSE STEPPING PUTZ WHO DOESN'T REALIZE THERE WAS NO INTERNET DURING THE TIME OF LINCOLN. The problem with liberals is that they are just plain STUPID.
  14. That number is 100 percent. They ALL are criminals by BEING HERE. They ALL violated our immigration laws.
  15. Gee!. Capitalism PAYS for schools. https://www.foxnews.com/media/colorado-teachers-union-passes-resolution-declaring-capitalism-inherently-exploits-children-public-schools Colorado teachers union passes resolution declaring capitalism 'inherently exploits children, public schools' The Colorado Education Association [CEA] reportedly passed a resolution that declares that "capitalism inherently exploits children, public schools, land, labor, and resources." A final version of the resolution that was passed states that "CEA believes that capitalism requires exploitation of children, public schools, land, labor, and/or resources. Capitalism is in opposition to fully addressing systemic racism (the school to prison pipeline), climate change, patriarchy, (gender and LGBTQ disparities), education inequality, and income inequality. However, a screenshot captures an earlier draft of the resolution that included a call to replace capitalism with a "new equitable economic system." The screenshot of the original version of the resolutions reads "CEA believes that capitalism requires exploitation of children, public schools, land, labor, and/or resources and, therefore, the only way to fully address systemic racism (the school to prison pipeline), climate change, patriarchy (gender and LGBTQ disparities), education inequality, and income inequality is to dismantle capitalism and replace it with a new, equitable economic system." Some talking points, for the folks on the left who are unable to follow this article intelligently. 1. Exploitation of children? How about the CHILD SLAVERY in Communist China? Think those Nikes are made by American union manufacturers? How about the lithium for those EV batteries? Think the miners are members of the United Mine Workers? 2. Explain how Capitalism is responsible for the "Classroom To Prison" myth. Explain why this only happens to blacks. 3. Explain how Capitalism somehow caused the Climate Change fairy tale. The LARGEST CO2 emitters in the world come from COMMUNIST ANTI CAPITALIST CHINA. 4. Explain how Capitalism created "education inequality." While we're at it, EXPLAIN EDUCATION INEQUALITY. Why do some kids make straight A's and some kids flunk? How is CAPITALISM to blame. Truthfully, this idi0tic idea began in 1848. Here's the original text. https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1848/communist-manifesto/
  16. I'll focus on the fact that a family would still be alive if the TRUMP WALL had been completed and kept that animal out. Sometimes, it's just about individual incidents. This thread is about an individual incident. An ANIMAL violated our borders and murdered a family.
  17. Here's the mother of modern liberalism. She was Hillary's idol. Her ideas led to the Holocaust.
  18. I don't have voices in my head. I just have superior knowledge to you blue state kindergarten dropouts. You aren't smart enough to win an argument with a Florida third grader, much less a Florida teacher.
  19. We get it. You know how to find clips like this. Give yourself a participation trophy, (to go with the hundreds of them on your participation trophy shelf.) (To the intelligent posters here, this video clip is actually an example of one of the most brilliant improv comedians of all time: Jerome (Curly) Howard. Yeah, I know. There are improv comedy clubs all over the place, where a lot of homosexuals use the stage time to perfect their act. Sorry, but it's true. Improv attracts homosexuals for some reason. Anyway, while the Three Stooges shorts were being filmed at Columbia, Curly had trouble remembering his lines. Every once in a while, to fill the space for the forgotten line, he would do something like you're seeing here. It was brilliant. Jules White and Del Lord were in awe of Curly's improv ability. In fact, most of the funniest lines and bits from Curly were just made up on the spot when he couldn't remember a line. He was the INVENTOR of improv. But he had four failed marriages, mostly from low self esteem of having to maintain that fat, so he wasn't a homo.)
  20. Nobody invited your dumb ass to this discussion, bat guano for brains. Shouldn't you be out somewhere molesting children at drag shows?
  21. Every time you goose steppers lose an argument, you trot out that failed old Forbes article that has been since disproven a million times. We get it. You are embarrassed that your ideology and tactics are a mirror image of the Hitler regime. Not our fault. You're the one who started goose stepping and wanting government to exterminate certain undesirables and take away our liberties. YOU OWN THE WORD NAZI. You ARE one.
  22. Woke is NOT a buzz word created by the right. That's stupid, even for you. https://www.okayplayer.com/culture/what-does-woke-mean-history-origins-william-melvin-kelley.html Photo Credit: Carl Van Vechten Collection/Getty Images Woke is ubiquitous now, used to describe everything from films to chefs. In the first of his three-part Origin of Woke series, Elijah Watson highlights William Melvin Kelley, the Harlem author credited with coining the word. Does THIS guy look like a member of the Proud Boys? Are you REALLY that stupid?
  23. Setting the bar pretty low for yourself i'd say The bar was set before I got here. Some liberals take many years to manufacture such stupidity. Again - that's a fact, its not a motivation for why you felt the desire to share the fact 1. Men thinking they can become women is a legitimate political discussion subject today. (You need to get out more.) 2. Liberals here are physically allergic to facts. Just think of me as highly educated pollen to a bunch of ignorant sinuses. It really wasn't answered. Maybe its ok if we leave that bar a little low for you This is like dealing with children, and now I'm thinking BLUE STATE children, since Florida children must seem like college professors to the ignorant, stupid adults here. You goose steppers NOT LIKING THE ANSWER does not mean the answer wasn't given. Geez! Are you goose steppers even toilet trained?
  24. They let you teach children? Sad! Why is it whenever you retards lose an argument, you automatically become an expert on public education? I TEACH CHILDREN, TEENAGERS, etc. I'm in a red state, which is superior to the ignorant shithole that vomited you into the gene pool. The CHILDREN in the superior state of Florida are smarter than the adults in your ignorant shithole blue state. They let you have sex with children? Sad!
