Stop. Perpetuating BS seems to be your forte. As one of the reports said (paraphrasing) there were more of these situations amongst non vaccinated than vaccinated.
-
OK, cut with the outright bullkshit. You clearly have no idea of what you are talking about and doing rectal plucks to try and prove your point. You have absolutely zero credibility with your BS. You are the one using kids as a tool to make BS points! Get some real facts instead of social media BS. The one that needs serious help is you. You need to get off the BS social media feeds. "Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), only 86 children <16 years of age were diagnosed with myocarditis among nearly 65,000 (0.133%) children with COVID-19. During the same time period (March 2020-January 2021), 132 out of nearly 4 million children without COVID-19 developed myocarditis." https://www.myocarditisfoundation.org/covid-19-myocarditis-in-children/ and "CDC suggests that among 100,000 vaccinated adolescent males, only about four to seven would be expected to develop post-vaccine myocarditis. If this group was not vaccinated, however, more than 5,500 would be likely to become infected with COVID-19 over a period of three months, with infections resulting in 50 hospitalizations, potential MIS-C, myocarditis and possible death. There is no political prisoner in Canada except for you misinterpretation. Every convoy "leader" was charged with breaking existing laws or bylaws Period. Twisting it into something that it is not is a feeble and failed attempt at subversion. Kamala Harris??? Why? Who cares? (obviously you do LOL)
-
You are correct. Sorry. I dispute the mostly domestically manufactured parts though. Could be wrong but OK.
-
If so, great. It seems this German company are assemblers. Using components they got from elsewhere, assemble the component to make a consumer product. You are right, there are companies that assemble but, they get their parts from somewhere else ( Asia?). Point is that it is cheaper to manufacture in Asia than here.
-
If you think it's one thing, if you broadcast on social media, it is no longer "thought" LOL
-
Can't speak to cost of manufacture but, if it went up in China where labour is very cheap, imagine how much it would have gone up with having to pay going rates ($20 - 30 per hour or more?) plus benefits? I think Trump tried the tariff thing (even with Canadian imports) and that quietly went away as prices climbed way up and imports fell and shortages became the norm.
-
I am pretty sure he is not being charged with obstructing traffic LOL Maybe he should have stayed off social media... his remarks become evidence.
-
I think that is simplistic and wrong. You need to convince consumers that they should pay more for their goods. Businesses are not charities, never have been and never will be. The make and sell stuff and if it costs too much, consumers won't buy it and they don't sell stuff. The governments have already tried the Buy Canadian (or Buy American) tactic but we, the Canadian buyers said no, we want it cheaper.

I actually could not care less about him but he is "facing 10 charges in relation to his role during the ‘Freedom Convoy’ protests that occupied downtown Ottawa for three weeks, including intimidation, obstructing police and mischief." Like it or not, those charges were and are enough to keep him sittin in cells since 18 Feb. He finally selected a lawyer so, one reason he has been in the clink so long is his own doing. Oh and Trudeau has nothing to do with being charges with breaking bylaws and/or local laws. Not defending Trudeau or the libs , just correcting misconception.

Capital Gains Tax on Primary Residences
ExFlyer replied to ExFlyer's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Maybe but they would have to find a job to buy that house and there ain't any that pay enough to get a mortgage.. Refugees are hard to turn away but maybe we should "filter" so that refugees with trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, brick layers etc) are first to be accepted? Perhaps we can also designate ares to live for theses refugees instead of letting them all into Toronto, Vancouver or our major cities? -
While your intent is admirable, I don't think it is achievable. As you determined in a later post.
-
Maybe we, the consumer, demanded cheaper goods and the "greedy capitalists" only capitulated to our demands?
-
Governments issues a public health directive. Call it a mandate if you wish but it was a public health issue due to a pandemic that initiated these measures.
-
Huh??? Rapid increase in COVID cases means "More people with natural immunity."? Howzat?? LOL
-
Who said anything about a pandemic....except you? Who is calling it a pandemic now? You? Simple fact is cases of COVID are rapidly rising all over the world.
-
No. Pro mandate and anti mandate did not exist either.
-
OK Budget??? The NDP and Liberals were on track to foil the oil and gas long before this but got elected anyway. Thanks to the conservative suicide committed by O'Foole. They are actually backing off a bit on the oil industry.... probably thank Russia for that..
-
No actually, the divide is exactly created by the truckers. Here we are quite a while after it is over and there is still discussion/arguments/name calling about them. Some folks cannot accept it is over and done with and won't be back. There are pro trucker people and anti trucker people and then there are theeones scratching their heads about the whole affair (like me). There are those that think something was achieved and others that think nothing was achieved. Mandates were already being repealed when the truckers took stage. The federal mandates on aircraft and trains i still in place (as it is in the US and other countries).

i am glad for you and for your Wife that you found common ground. I am quite sure she has to work hard, maybe harder than the men in the corporation, and perform well and play the game to climb that latter. Kinda like moving up the ladder in the Army (or Air Force) My Wife was fortunate to be able to move her career with me.

Not sure if you are up to date or not but Canada for most part has also done away with mandates. the feds have only the transport one in place. Fact is COVID is getting worse. Cases are rapidly increasing. There are many countries, states and even cities that are right now or soon may re-imposing more mandates. Masks are required in Philadelphia again and other cities and states are acting in the same way. Shanghai and Shenzhen are back in complete lockdown. While some airlines are trying, it is still a requirement to wear masks on planes and trains in the US as well as Canada. "They found that the multiple layer of measures, including the wearing of face masks and more frequent disinfection, together with the aircraft airflow systems, results in a very low risk of COVID-19 transmission on aircraft." https://www.iata.org/en/youandiata/travelers/health/low-risk-transmission/ Look, arguing about COVID is stupid. This F'N virus is with us for a long time. It will be going up and down for years to come and the vaccination stuff reduces hospitalizations and severity, just like the annual flu vaccination. Some folks get the flu shot and others don't some folks go to the hospital with the flu and die and some don't. Familiar?? The truckers achieved noting except creating divides amongst Canadians and their opinions. Nothing changed and it won't. I hear you and your opinion and you are very much entitled to it, as I have one and am entitled to it as well. Not everyone has to think like you .... or me. Calling me names is just childish. Lastly, who gives a rats ass about WEF except you that keeps bringing it up.

Protesting on Public Sidewalks now illegal in Alberta
ExFlyer replied to West's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
I think you really do not understand the soldier, his task and his mindset. I dare say that no soldier has ever been ordered to kill someone. Have they? I am sure that they have but the circumstances are all varied and quite intense. Protesters that were there peacefully and obeying the laws and bylaws, and there there thousands, were left alone to protest. The ones that were fined were fined because they broke those laws and bylaws. Name as many as you want but the fact is, the broke existing laws... many thousands were not arrested or fined. I am not even going to look or listen to the Rebel, It is not even considered a news source or legitimate media. -
You say your lost the right of free speech? Of what goes in your body? Of your personal finances? When did that happen? Don't say you cannot protest, because you can. Don't say you cannot control what goes in your body, because you can. Don't say you have freedom of your personal freedoms because 200 people out of 36 million had governmental interference? Taxation, well, the public services, roads and infrastructure, health services and much more you have are all as a result of taxes. Canada selected a government that has a green agenda. Some don't like it to your personal chagrin, but as a democracy, enough did. Canada already has tariffs o products (or else they would be eve n cheaper)and taxes companies and that is why companies leave. How do you protect workers when they price themselves out of work? You, the consumer wants cheaper products and that is why companies leave....to satisfy your demands and desires. Thing is, anyone can complain but in reality, things happen and are done for a reason and it only tales a bit of logical though to figure that out. I don't disagree with everything you say but, I feel that you are not fully aware of how things work in reality. Feel free to suggest better ways to do the things you complain about.

So, what freedoms within the law have you lost? Taxes pay for what you do want (you meaning the democratic collective you) As for jobs lost to India, what has that to do with government and your freedoms? Why are jobs lost to India (or China or Philippines or other countries)? Could it be cheap labour and manufacturing capabilities which we don't have because companies get it done for less over there? Nice try though
