Yup, the police did mishandle the situation and the police chief quit in disgrace. As soon as the temporary chief got command, things changed the end of the protest was in sight. You may not care about my friends and neighbours but, they were actually there and not by video burst like you.

Only one has ever set up encampments on the main street. Thing is now, the truckers protest has forever made things difficult for every protest that comes after. Eventually, the downtown core was closed off and then, and only , then truckers reps said where do we go and the city said go to the baseball stadium and use their parking lot, even though the parking lot at Lansdowne was closer and more convenient for the truckers shitshow. I live here, saw and heard what went on at the time it was going on. I have friends and neighbours that had to go downtown to work and explained in pissed off detail of what was happening. I am not in agreement with that. A long time ago maybe but my Grandson goes to a Catholic school and gets none of that. It is the same basic curriculum as any other Ontario public school.
