That is exactly it. How much is being spent on charter aircraft to get into remote places? If there is even scheduled routes there. How much for helicopters? How many ministers and public servants are spending on travelling this province? How much does it cost to get officials to a remote area in the next few days vice having to rent a jet to use? Renting an 8 passenger aircraft is about $10,000 per hour plus crew costs and associated airport fees (plus crew accommodation and meals expenses etc).
