Considering provinces and other jurisdictions are dropping these mandates primarily because fully vaxxed are spreading Covid then there's no legal reason these things should still exist. Anyone who supports these policies still are only doing so to punish people for their political position.

The fact is the provincial and federal governments are not disputing the fact that certain mandates violate your charter rights. They are saying they are justified in doing so because some people have gotten sick. It's not in dispute that keeping people off an airplane is a violation of freedom of Mobility. Covid tickets that were handed out two years ago are finally being heard. The vast majority of covid fines are being tossed. Others are still pending in court two years later. Exactly the point. Just because a government enacts something doesn't mean it is lawful. As mentioned above, the government probably intentionally creates a slow court system. In this case it'll likely take several years to hear and make its way through the process. By that time the mandates will be dropped and will be considered mute. The damage done, however, will be long lasting.

The court system takes 4 or 5 years to go through the review process. By that time much damage has been done to people's lives. Don't know why you are so offended by human rights

A thread topic to discuss the political discourse in this country. The things that I find most bizarre about current political discourse: 1. Values such as control over your own body are now called "far right fringe". This was a mainstream, one could even argue liberal idea not long ago. 2. Protests against left wing politicians are now considered "treasonous", "insurrection" etc. While protests such as BLM which caused 1-2 billion dollars in damages are often praised. 3. Foreign influence by players in the World Economic Forum, the United Nations etc on Canadian policy are considered necessary but a $10 donation from an American toward a Canadian generated protest are called "foreign influence". 4. I support common sense health advice and education like washing your hands.
