Interesting. First of all, I never mentioned any date people had to be in America by, but nice try at side-stepping the issue. Tell me... how's that journey toward a more perfect union coming along? Again with the side-stepping. Nobody cares where they come from. They care HOW they came and WHY. Let's try to live within THIS century...mkaaayyy? Conditions change, as has the law. The first federal US immigration laws were formed in 1924. Since then there have been a number of changes to address changing conditions. Between 2021 and 2025 the US president...lovingly known as "Brandon"...opened the borders to a deluge of people. Over 10 million unvetted, uncontrolled people from anywhere for any reason. And the result of that, was a second Trump presidency. Evidently the American people do NOT want an immigration free-for-all. Recently polls have shown that American citizens do not want free citizenship granted to the babies of illegal aliens born inside the nation. And that 14th amendment was made to provide legal status to black slaves after the civil war, and you know it. So please stop warping reality. I do not think Trump's EO will pass muster. But the debate will not end there. Of that you can rest assured. Yet...I would propose a compromise. Let the amendment stand. BUT...the babies would get US citizenship ONLY by staying in the USA. Now...since the parents are not citizens and in the nation illegally or on temporary status, they would have to leave their baby in the custody of an American citizen, to be raised as an American. Once an adult, the person may choose to sponsor the natural parents for legal entry.

Better? No. CITIZENS! Do you not understand the concept of country and patriotism at all? And enough of the empty chickenshit. I never said "just because". If your not interested in controlling your own immigration, then I'd say you have a problem with the nation as a whole. That would be a "bad" thing.

People are people? And for that you want to hand out citizenship to illegal aliens? That's silly. Why the Hell must you Libbies be so silly? Its not irrational at all. You're being irrational though. With your 'what ifs' and people are people. Its almost like you want to make life more difficult for real citizens...instead of criminals and birth vacationers...which is silly.

Who was it that pushed for an all-out attack on Iran? That's right...Zionists. -

LOL...You still think your asinine accusations of racism, mean anything? Silly DEI-lovin' Libbie. Your own ideas of "equity" are the true and obvious examples of racism. And when the pendulum swings back...which you knew it would...you dont like it. Poor Muffin. -

Dweebles...as with the Iran attacks, when I disagree with Trump, I say so. I act in this manner because I have a personality trait you lack. Honor. -

America's shame: A Tragic Fall from Grace
Nationalist replied to Hodad's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Defense? No, its more just an explanation. I cant defend some of the things Trump posts...or says in some cases. But I can understand why and how his bloviations happen. But...he's POTUS exactly BECAUSE of the dumb-ass garbage Brandon did AND you Libbies, for the most part, still advocate for. And here's the proof. Steve Hilton is leading in most polls in deep blue California. You Libbies have lost touch with reality. Until you regain your senses, you're fighting an uphill battle. Here's more proof. this "opinion" is well over the top. You silly buggers really need to ground yourselves. As it stands now, y'all are just silly. -

Please try hard to not be such a fool. Presidents are just civilians. They all have their own minds. Trump just splatters his mind all over the internet before anyone can advise him. Trump is what he is. He's POTUS because Brandon was such an abject failure. You want power back? Stop advocating for bat-shit crazy shit. -
America's shame: A Tragic Fall from Grace

@Hodad and The Pansie Posse are just expressing their TDS. Pre-internet, all people, including presidents, could not instantly say things to the world. So what they thought was filtered by second thoughts and in the president's case, PR experts. Had people known how President Johnson privately felt about black people, people like The Pansie Posse would be aghast. Were I to give Trump a piece of advise, I would advise him to not post his immediate thoughts without checking with the PR folks first. -

Blow people up? Steal other people's homes? Look...I understand that Isreal exists and says they are willing to make the Arab Peninsula a "glass parkinglot". But that's still not our concern. Besides...I seriously doubt they have that many nukes. And I didn't blame them for what they did to Gaza. In fact...my initial reaction was to advise they level Gaza on the 8th. Be done with it and move on. This...slow enialation has caused way too many problems over time. But Iran was not a realistic threat to the USA. Now? Who knows?

Hmmm...ya know...it looks like this relationship is rather one-sided. "1. Origins: recognition, memory and cultural affinity U.S. support traces to immediate post‑World War II choices — President Harry S. Truman’s rapid recognition of Israel in 1948 and earlier American sympathy toward a Jewish homeland rooted in the Balfour legacy and Holocaust memory — which seeded a durable moral and cultural affinity between the two societies that public intellectuals and institutions have reinforced over decades [1] [2]. 2. Cold War and strategic utility During the Cold War Washington cultivated Israel as a regional partner to counter Soviet influence and to secure allies in a volatile theater; administrations treated Israel as an asset in balancing Arab states and as a locus for U.S. intelligence, military cooperation and contingency planning in the region [2] [7]. Key episodes — U.S. arms transfers, emergency resupplies in conflicts like 1973, and diplomatic maneuvering — illustrate how strategic calculations hardened into routine support [8] [7]. 3. Military and financial institutionalization Today support is largely institutional: decades of bilateral assistance and defense cooperation have made Israel a major recipient of American security aid and weapons, codified in memoranda of understanding that currently provide billions per year and special procurement privileges for Israeli defense purchases [5] [3]. The U.S. has also funnelled large sums into missile defense and joint programs, creating interlocking industrial and operational ties " Domestic politics in the United States — including organized Jewish advocacy, pro‑Israel groups, evangelical Christian support rooted in Christian Zionism, and a bipartisan foreign policy consensus — have shaped lawmakers’ incentives and made Israel a rare foreign policy position with consistent cross‑party backing, even as some fissures have appeared recently [2] [4] [6]. Journalistic and academic accounts note that political benefits and constituency pressures have repeatedly influenced specific policy decisions " https://factually.co/fact-checks/politics/why-does-the-us-support-israel-explained-9d6da6 Billions in financial and military aid from the US to Isreal. Yup...one-sided.
