This is what I mean when I say, you Libbies are irrational. What I woke up too, about 15 years ago, was that globalist aspirations are damaging and costly. On a number of levels. What right reasons? Was Pinochet placed in power a right thing to do? Shock and Awe? Gulf of Tonkin? If you had been able to witness these things and thought they were right, you've been delusional for a long time...sonny. Today there is a proxy-war in Europe...with Russia...and the side we've been pushing...is losing. The USA is no saint of a nation. Nor are they supposed to be. No nation is. Nations are supposed to serve themselves. Promote patriotic people, secure the nation, aid in the creation of prosperity. The Liberals and Democrats have done neither. I recall a phrase..."The New Normal". People like to say that the USA must lead the world, yet it's prosperity is fading...along with its ability to lead. A new direction is necessary if the USA and Canada by extension, want to maintain our standard of living. Even new alliances. The Russians will be Russians. You can't impose our values on them. That only causes failure. Americans will be Americans too. But if peace can be achieved and even enhanced general prosperity and leadership powers...such an alliance could provide such an outcome. A "New Normal".
