And talking to Covid hysterics reminds me of trying to talk sense to Global Warmiacs. They tell you they're about "the science." So you give them some science. Then 'No. That's not the right science. That contradicts the narrative so that's not science. If it's not narrative affirming science its' not science.' Which makes me think they don't actually know what science is. News Flash, Chicken Littles. The government can't control the weather and it won't stop covid. Adapt. Build dykes. Learn about therapeutics.

Why not? If the jab made you impervious to infection or spread what are you afraid of? Oh wait, that's right. The shots aren't actually as effective as they told you they would be, are they? Covid and it's variants are here to stay. Get off the corporate and state media. They've been lying to you. Find some accurate information and learn how to live with the new reality.
-
Why? You think they'd tell you? Globalists behind the global reset is a guess I've heard. China? Big Corporate did well in the first lockdown. My guess would be it wasn't so much a conspiracy as a discovery by the "never let a tragedy go to waste crowd. But now they've seen the personal power advantage in a Pandemic and even though death rates aren't impressive some are calling for more lockdowns and mask mandates. Why is that, do think? And whose behind them? Figure that out and I'll point the finger saying, "Them. Those guys. They're the ones."

Speaking of De Santis...that was back in September. There could very well be a new American spike in cases and the Governor gives you a common sense explanation of one reason why. Also he offers up the rationale to preferring a choice driven solution to what the Pandemic power-mad are wanting to mandate on people.

I don't know... I could believe you two seeming followers of the Covid inquisition or I could believe Ron De Santis, Governor of Florida. " Ron DeSantis @GovRonDeSantis · Sep 23, 2020 CDC recently updated estimated infection fatality rates for COVID. Here are the updated survival rates by age group: 0-19: 99.997% 20-49: 99.98% 50-69: 99.5% 70+: 94.6%

As to this idea of Argus's I was only referring to Republican leaders when talking how those in power want to retain their pandemic power or get more he needs to double-check his facts. John Bel Edwards is a Democrat and Asa Hutchinson is a RINO which as far as I and many others not named Argus are concerned is pretty much the same thing.

I'll give you one quick example. Just tell me if you want more. They were able to change election laws using a pandemic excuse allowing them to put in a dementia ridden puppet and a cackling, unpopular sidekick as leaders of the free world. Also, even those who may not want more power sure seem reluctant to give up the power the pandemic gave them - Newsom, Whitmer, Cuomo.

I believe the comment on "more power" was in response to Argus offering up stats of American states where their leaders were pushing the hysteria. In America they are now pushing to bring back federal lockdowns, mask mandates and a federal registry for vaccine passports. I can show how that becomes a power grab if you like but I doubt I need to. You want to talk Canada and that's justified going by the thread title. But it wasn't my point.

Fringe anarchists on the left or the right are not a novel or new thing. Conflating one with the other though is probably a mistake. Anarcho leftists are not Libertarians. There is a thing called anarcho-communism on the left. Most Libertarians (which are generally gifted to the right) aren't actual anarchists but there's a fringe that think it would be a good idea to go there with certain conditions. Stefan Molyneux for example calls himself an anarcho-capitalist. By no stretch of the definition could you put him in the same camp as Guevara or Simone. Molyneux is more anarchy with personal responsibility. His utopia is as likely as the anarcho-left's though that supposedly magically appears after you tear it all down. However is the anarcho-left becoming a thing? Maybe. Is it spreading? You could sell me on that one.

The variant peaks in cases after about a month then declines. Mandate nothing. Masks don't work. I can give you 20 studies saying so. The variant isn't that deadly. Just be patient. Prove me wrong, with something better than an insult, Argus. I dare you to at least try. Go ahead. Try something different. As to the idea that the powers that be want more mandates and more power.? Yeah...and who on this thread has denied that's happening? So those in power want more power. What else is new?

"Are you also saying hospitals in these areas aren't crowded?" I'm saying that. Show me you're evidence I'm wrong. And even if you can find some outlier like the area Ben Shapiro was talking about where 80% of the infected were male then it turned out it was a gay party town after a wild weekend I reserve the right to question you.

Speaking of misinformation. Remember when they told us if we take the vaccine it's over. We're protected and the vaccinated can't spread. But now it's "Wait...not so much..." Now - in America, at least - they're making waves like they want to go back into full masked lockdown, even though there's not even evidence that worked the first time. Not to mention they lied the first time about never having to it again after the jab. And there's Argus fully vaccinated in his Darth Vader mask waiting to fall in line. Now me, I got the jab, but going into masked lockdown again is where I draw the line. Not going to happen. Not without complaint anyway.

That's good, because there doesn't seem to be any. Judging by what you and yours have been able to put forth so far. But if Dr. Debby is an expert on crowded hospitals because as a physical therapist, tractor driver, veterinarian she might be in one every once in awhile for some reason known only to her what about all the photos and videos I've seen - and shown you some above - of hospitals claiming they were crowded to the gills but appeared to be pretty empty. The one woman who took the photos of the one I showed you claimed to be Doctor too. No word as to whether or not she has achieved your desired veterinarian and physical therapist status yet though.

" a site run by crazed anti-vax loonies" Which? You mean Twitter? People began noticing the boastful claim by the buffoon claiming "Doctor" status on Twitter. Debby's claim of also being a physical therapist - and apparently there's a big call for physical therapists on covid wards in Debby's world - came in reply to those who mocked her tweet telling how being a Doctor gave her insight into crowded hospitals. But hey, don't be shy. Show us the whole tweet: Dr. Debby Burnett for Colorado @BurnettForCO3 · Jul 27 My name is Dr. Debby Burnett. I'm a mom, veterinarian, COVID frontline worker, tractor driver, & small business owner. I’m also the Democrat taking on Lauren Boebert. Please help support our grassroots campaign by chipping in here! I just gave to Debby Burnett -- Join Me! I just gave to Debby Burnett -- Join Me! secure.actblue.com BTW, is Dr. Debby, Veterinarian, tractor driver, claimed physical therapist, and Democrat activist the "expert" you would like to call forward as your evidence to the crowding of hospitals? Cause if it is, I'm still laughing. And speaking of funny tweets Donald Trump JR. had one where he took a stance something like yours that those who hadn't been vaxed need to be segregated from society. His was a mock though. It tweeted "#Vax to Vote." He found it funny and a little bit shocking how many Liberals and their RINO supporters thought it was a good idea.

And here's another thing I'd like the Florida scare-mongers to explain to me. It's true if you look at the graph for Daily New Cases there's a noticeable spike comparable to previous waves but if you look at the graph for "Active Cases" it's not that scary at all. Why is that? Another graph of Daily New Cases the Florida scare-mongers might want to check out is the one for the United Kingdom. That was another one where they rushed to tell you about the scary spike in cases. They haven't been telling you though about the recent precipitous decline in that curve.

Reality Check. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/florida/ Florida is the 3rd most populated state in the union and is fourth in total deaths. There were no deaths yesterday and if you check out the graph for deaths at the link you'll see nothing scary or unprecedented is happening. There was a spike in cases. Spikes in cases caused by the variant have been happening all over lately. They tend to happen then plummet down as fast as they spiked up. Hysterics like to hit you at the peak of the spike with a scary claim. And left-wing hysterics have a particular enmity for Florida. If a hysteric tries to scare with stories of how dangerous the variant is make him show you his data. It's less dangerous than the flu. Admissions is a bogus stat. Was the test taken before or after the admission. That matters and seeing as they don't generally want to tell us where the stat came from we can only guess. I've seen too many stories like the one below to take stories of hospitalizations seriously. I even saw a video on Youtube one-time where a videographer was at an empty looking hospital that had been making claims on how busy they were. They wound up calling the police on the guy. Embarrassed I guess. " On Friday, the Associated Press reported that Florida broke the ‘record’ with more than 21,000 new cases in the state. One of the key contentions was that hospitals were closed to being ‘overrun,’ a common claim in COVID reports that have nearly all turned up hollow. “The Florida Hospital Association said Friday that statewide COVID-19 hospitalizations are nearing last year’s peak, and one of the state’s largest health care systems, AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division, this week advised it would no longer be conducting nonemergency surgeries in order to free up resources for COVID-19 patients,” the AP reported. The Delta variant is indeed fueling a surge in ‘cases,’ which are actually infections for those who are vaccinated or otherwise asymptomatic. The Delta variant is far less deadly than the original ‘wild’ variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It raises the question of whether or not people are being hospitalized for COVID, or merely testing positive for COVID after going to the hospital for other reasons. One citizen decided not to take the Associated Press or any other mainstream media outlet’s word for it and decided to check it out for themself. Dr. Shay, Phd., who goes by AMA Black Patriot on Twitter (@DrShayPhD) went to a hospital at Cape Canaveral, Florida, which the AP had used as the location for one of its report. “So the Associated Press wrote an article saying that Cape Canaveral, FL hospital is bursting at the seams with Covid patients,” Dr. Shay tweeted. “I had to go see for myself, so I drove there. The first set of pictures are of the hospital’s parking. More to follow.” A collection of photos of a quiet hospital is at the link
