Enough is enough. Ban protests outside hospitals.

Now as to the Southern States vs the Northern States I think the best measure of that would be to use the 4 biggest states. If you judge all the differing factors against each other they pretty much even out by my estimation. North versus South or Left versus Right. Check it out: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us The obvious difference ( and leftists, RINOs or CINOs can feel free to stop reading if you're not allowed to know this) would be how the economies have been faring lately. By that measure the 2 largest leftist states (California and New York) are being waxed and wiped off the map recently by the 2 largest Republican states (Texas and Florida.) -

That the vaccinated can spread the Covid, you mean? I agree with you that The Lancet has spread some disinformation recently about covid. In particular, concerning the origin of the disease and the effectiveness of Hydroxychloroquine however my impression is you leftists generally consider them credible so how about The Lancet: Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 Delta Variant Among Vaccinated Healthcare Workers, Vietnam I've heard Jabunists try to discredit the above study on the grounds it was done in Vietnam but they're just racial bigots. Here's another interesting one: https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-cdc-vaccines-idUSL1N2PB2WH Now that comes from one of those leftist "fact-checking" sites you guys usually enjoy. If you want to call Reuters a disinformation site I won't challenge you but not only do they repeatedly claim the CDC has studies showing vaccinated are as likely to spread the variant as unvaccinated but they link to other leftist media or as you would call them "disinformation sites," claiming the same thing and claiming there is data to support it. Now as to whether or not the asymptomatic can spread the disease there are contradictory studies on that one and claims on whether or not the data is credible - from both sides. I don't know who these guys below are but even if you can find some propagandists like MediaBiasFactCheck to slur them it won't matter. My point is only that there are contradictory studies on the asymptomatic question. Prove that false if you like. Or at least try to without the use of one of your disinformation slur sites: Over half of COVID-19 cases are spread by asymptomatic carriers, CDC study finds -
I think the closest thing to Libertarian in a Canadian federal party might be Maxime Bernier's PPC. There is a Canadian Libertarian party - or at least there used to be. I've been to their website. Libertarians have run locally in some regions. The YouTuber Lauren Southern ran as a Libertarian in Langley BC, one time. American populism is a bigger tent than just libertarianism. Lot's of conservatives. Libertarians and Conservatives are more often seen as part of the same whole on the right but I've seem them at odds with each other more than once. They can intersect on ideology and thought leaders, here and there. Both will fanboy Thomas Sowell, for example. I think Ronal Reagan advisor, Milton Friedman called himself a small L large R republican. I think both Trump and Biden promised to ease federal laws on marijuana, didn't they? Technically AK 47s are illegal in America. There can be exceptions. They're built to allow automatic fire. There is some law that was passed in the 80s that made AKs (kalashnikov's) illegal but if you owned one before that it could be grandfathered in for a pass on the law. I think you have to jump through a lot of hoops and pay a heavy tax though. That's the way I heard it. I think you might be thinking of AR 15s or the made up term "assault rifle." As to Democrat youth becoming more suspicious and free spirited I'm not sure what you mean. Do you have an example?

The Ontario rules of mandate segregates any who won't produce papers showing they've been jabbed - twice (for now) - be kept out of the public sphere or at least the parts of it that would allow them to feel comfortable. https://news.ontario.ca/en/release/1000779/ontario-to-require-proof-of-vaccination-in-select-settings I think it's going to take hyperbolic metaphor to show you why that kind of coercion is force. So here goes... Suppose some crazy guy has control of a girl in a room in his basement. Suppose he comes down unlocks the door to the room and tells the girl "Blow me or I'll lock you in the closet again." Is coercion force?
-
And here's another one Boges... You say the immune by having healed from the infection have to be segregated in Ontario because you don't think getting vaccinated can hurt them. You seem to be saying they're just a bunch of crybabies. But why should they risk adverse reactions to the vaccine just because you think so? The Jabunistas should lose some weight if they want to force others into segregation. At least lose the hypocrisy. Starting with Doug Ford. And yes, that's what it is. Jim Crow/apartheid-style, segregation. If Canada is ever able to get it's collective head back on straight history will not look kindly on this generation.
-
Oh and Boges, remember I told you how I've been monitoring the daily death stats in Florida to see how they're doing with their policy of encouraging both vaccines and therapeutics but mandating nothing? This really odd thing is happening at Worldometer. There are 4 states that generally get mentioned the most in covid discussions - California, Texas, New York and Florida. 3 of those states are kept up to date with death stats. One isn't. Guess which one. Florida is always 4 to 5 days late in updating. When the death numbers are finally updated they'll just be in the single digits. If you wait a couple days though they'll update those numbers to add 50 or more deaths. There may be a legitimate reason for that but even in spite of that daily death numbers continue to plummet from later August when DeSantis made treatment with monoclonal antibodies available to Floridians.

You would think a Province that likes to pass regulations so much would pass better ones. Myocarditis and allergies are far from being the only adverse reactions people are worried about. But even beyond that let's dare to consider the obvious and ask why passports and mandates are being mandated in the first place. Not even the jab Nazis are denying both vaccinated and unvaccinated can spread the virus. There is some question about how infectious the asymptomatic infected can be but it seems to be agreed there is risk. Even if there wasn't agreement on that more people have been vaccinated than unvaccinated you're still as likely to get infected by somebody vaccinated as you are by somebody unvaccinated. Let's go along with our local forum jabunists and pretend Ontario data is credible and it's all that matters. Ontario tells us about 9/11ths of Ontario infected have received at least one jab. 84% of Ontario-yos eligible for the jab have received at least one dose. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/data#casesByVaccinationStatus If we ignore the studies that suggest the vaccinated can be more infectious and just say it's 50/50 you're still as likely to be infected by a vaccinated person as an unvaccinated one. Even in Ontario, believe it or not. And even if you want to ignore reason and just hype the fear by only running around in circles, flashing questionable stats showing more vaccinated than unvaccinated are in the Ontario ICUs it's a leap in logic to say therefore we have to mandate the unvaccinated into apartheid, Jim Crow style segregation because you're ignoring an obvious fact or rather choosing not to let other people consider it. The number #1 covid comorbidity factor is obesity. So why aren't you talking about mandating fat people into segregation. I'll tell you why. They vote and there's a Hell of a lot more fatties than there are the unvaccinated.

Here's the kind of thing that's happening where I am. I think vaccine passports are on their way in a week or so too. No Vancouver Canucks or Big Macs for me. I'm banned and can't come in until I lose my fear of blood clots, an enlarged heart and having my skin peeled off by the Chi-Comm. In the meantime they're beating up media on the street for covering the restrictions, but there are no restrictions, right?

OK, got my bookmarks back and I found the one you seemed to be implying doesn't exist, Di. As it turns out the site isn't Breitbart. It was the Canadian Archive site, Blazing Cat Fur. https://blazingcatfur.ca/2021/09/08/pfizer-rolls-out-new-daily-pill-to-fight-covid-similar-to-ivermectin/ I know you're not interested but somebody might be, so here's the story of how Pfizer's new miracle pill is nothing more than a reworking of the mechanism that makes Ivermectin work. Apparently Ivermectin is something called a Protease Inhibitor and Pfizer's big super secret discovery is some kind of Protease inhibitor. Here's a clip from a study where researchers first found what makes Ivermectin an effective therapeutic against covid.
-
Actually, I believe I read it in Breitbart. I have the link but it's in another computer. I can get it to you later but let's be honest, you think you're above it. You wouldn't read it. Some might not think that's so superior. Some might think that's choosing ignorance. And if you really are researching you just have to scroll up. She was referring to the covid "mortality rate" of Canada and you knew that because even though your raw figure was wrong you gave raw figures needed to calculate the covid "mortality rate" of Canada. Then you mocked her for being (as it turned out) correct.
-
Just skimmed the one from Reuters. I didn't see any mention of the fact they're aping what works in Ivermectin. That's the point. That's what they don't want you to know. They've been pushing the slur that Ivermectin is just a horse pill even though humans have been using it on themselves for different things for years and there's all kinds of evidence it has been effective at subduing Covid if you start in the early stage of the disease.
-
Why wouldn't she? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortality_rate The Covid mortality rate of Canada is .07% You found a box listing the percentage of deaths in active cases and called that "mortality rate." Not sure but I believe what you were looking at is called "Case Fatality." But cut the guff. You knew all along what she meant. You gave the raw figures per population of Canada. You didn't think anybody would go to the effort of figuring it out. BTW your raw death number was also off by a thousand.

Big Pharma has also done a lot of harm too. Thalidomide jumps to mind. But hears a list of the top ten lawsuits paid out by Big Pharma: https://www.enjuris.com/blog/resources/largest-pharmaceutical-settlements-lawsuits/ Here's one I'd be surprised to hear the MSM was telling you about. Pfizer is coming out with a twice daily pill that supposed to treat Covid. What's most cute about that though is the pill is built using the active ingredient that some medical professionals have been saying is what makes Ivermectin an effective therapeutic. The thing about therapeutics like Ivermectin and hydroxochloryquine is they're cheap and have been available for some time. That's why Big Pharma doesn't want you to know they work.

Expressed as a fraction Worldometer tells us 712/1,000,000 have died in Canada from covid. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries So to find out how many that is of a hundred wouldn't I just move the decimal point over 4 spaces. My math's more than a little rusty but wouldn't that be .07 percent?

I haven't had the Covid, but one time, against my better judgement I got the flu vaccine. A couple of days later I got the worse flu of my life. I figured, 'OK I must be one of those guys who don't deal well with vaccines.' Years later I somehow got talked into getting the first covid jab. I was almost immediately struck by every adverse reaction they tell you about - hyper allergy symptoms and weird flu-like symptoms. And they lasted about a month. Never again! Also they tell me the second jab is the one most likely to kill you if you happen to be one of the unlucky ones with that and failing that there's the bucket of adverse reactions - again more likely with the second jab. Some of those can be pretty horrific. I'd rather deal with the "Papers Please" Jab-Nazis than any of that. They'll have to drag me out of my house kicking and screaming to jab me twice. It's OK Argus and Citizen they won't be needing volunteers to help them, I'm sure.
