Discrimination is wrong! Except when it's right!
egghead replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
C'mon, it is not Trudeau's fault that he is an idiot. He just don't understand diversity, and he believes inclusivity is diversity -

To tell you the turth, I am very disappointed in the Dem after I read that. Man, only ~2000 more americans than normal have moved to Canada since orange's election. Did you know how many asylum seekers since the Trudeau Liberals were elected? -

I read your post. Did you read your chart? Financial and real estate had the biggest bar. The $ laundering did not start two years (I believed systematic laundering started around 2012~2013), but it peaked around couple years ago. Anyway, my point was that we needed to wait couple years before we are "blowing NDP trumpet." Of course, if LNG project is a go, NDP cannot lose. -

Are humans really responsible for climate change?
egghead replied to Canuck100's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
funding driven scientists can kiss my "you know what" First of all, climate is never static. Thinking we are the major reason for climate changing is same as saying gender is the major reason that female tennis players are paid less. Then, you only need to study china environmental issues in the last 20 years. Climate changing is not same as environmental crisis. -

Unlike you, I don't pretend I know. I just don't know, and I am skeptical about it. -

Ya, Horgan can win the re-election, since JT gives liberals (I know BC liberals are conservatives) a bad name now. However,, this morning Jagmeet Singh said no to fracking.

Money Laundering Endemic throughout Canada
egghead replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Criminals are not stupid. They know that Gov't don't care if Gov't makes a cut and the laundering process affects no one. The money parking caused problem here. -

Greens take their votes back too. Unlike all projections claim that Tories is safely in majority, I believe it will all depend on the BC voters. -

Anyway, it seems that his smear campaign hits a speed bump. Greens won the Nanaimo-Ladysmith byelection -

Oil sand is not net energy loss. It was the production cost issue before. Before Y2K, it costed ~40usd per barrel. It is around ~17 usd per barrel now. Saudi is around 3~5 usd per barrel, and the production cost is less in Venezuela as well. -
The problem with nuclear power has little to do with the power plant accidents. The major issue with nuclear power is the high-level radioactive waste. Anyway, there is no feasible renewable energy (ya, soiar power and wind power are pie in the sky) in sigh. My $ with be on the fossil fuel and not on the nuclear energy.

Not you, I mean he “I look at the commodity price, it’s still pretty low for a barrel of crude oil, but yet if you go to the pump, you see these unreasonable costs,” Horgan said. “It’s not about governments gouging, it’s about gas companies gouging.”
