Brazil is on my personal list of "scheduled" countries which operate without the rule of law and thus I decline to be subject to their jurisdiction, if I need nice weather I just go to Dixie or the Southwest, in the land of the free.

Nothing to be concerned about, market forces will prevail in the end, simply adapt and prepare yourself accordingly within your own affairs as an individual autonomous from the state.

Should Canada suspend relations with China?

Particularly when its not the devil but rather the freest most prosperous nation in the history of the world who defends us and props us up. -
Should Canada suspend relations with China?

An alliance is de jure, if you invoke an alliance you must underpin the assertion by providing the document signed binding said alliance. Otherwise you're being speciously fallacious, as per usual. /shrugs -
Should Canada suspend relations with China?
Dougie93 replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Oh I'm aware of the corrosive nature of interaction with communist dictatorships, but Canada is simply a no man's land between them and the American Hegemon, and as such Canada does not have the initiative in the face of Global Hegemons and is simply relying on Five Eyes to protect it. -
I hope Canada's nanny socialist welfare sate is unsustainable and I am quite confident that it is. I merely pointed out that Friedman was very pro-immigration, he simply said you have to have a truly free country to make it work, while so long as you cling to a socialist gulag it will break you.

Should Canada suspend relations with China?

Only under NATO Article V, the British are actually no longer under any further obligation to defend Canada. The only other significant alliance to Canada above Five Eyes, is the bilateral Continental Defense and Security Agreement to include NORAD, with the Americans. -

The origin of the British Westminster Parliamentary Democracy and associated Parliamentary Supremacy, otherwise known as the first modern liberal state, does not date from Hastings, but rather the Glorious Revolution of 1688 and HM King William of Orange While France is not a sifnificant Canadian ally and not an ally at all beyond NATO Article V, the United Kingdom is a significant ally, as a member of Five Eyes under UKUSA -

Canada really only has one significant alliance, under the United Kingdom - United States Security Agreement and associated Five Eyes Canada cannot have any significant allies beyond Five Eyes, because the Americans determine who has access to Five Eyes operations, thus Five Eyes is the only alliance which binds you, but it binds you with an iron fist none the less. -
Should Canada suspend relations with China?

France is not a close Canadian ally, the only thing binding Canada to France is the Washington Treaty and associated NATO Article V, other than that, there is no formal relationship at all. -

The Americans do learn a great deal from observing Canada, to include taking the warning of what happens when you allow the far left to run a nanny socialist welfare police state and then call it a country, resulting in what the Americans call; the Fake Country. -

France is just as ethno-nationalist as Quebec is, France is with Quebec, as a de facto imperial possession simply stolen from them in 1759 by the British Crown. The French are now however dependent on the American Hegemon and the American Hegemon doesn't want them to stir up trouble in North America, so the French are simply biding their time until such time as Quebec frees itself from Confederation, then the French will step in after and adopt it as a client state. -
This is all starting to go away now tho, because the Americans have at this juncture rightly determined that, in the event of war, Canada is simply a no mans land and of no particular use to them, so they are now clear to start pulling back their corporate welfare to Canada in order to give it to Americans instead, as the Information Age revolution displaces their industrial workers, inciting said workers to adopt the doctrine of America First.
-
Is true. The Americans simply prop up your nanny socialist welfare gulag as a legacy project of the Cold War by way of the Second World War.

Sort of, what happened was the Airborne Regiment was directed by its chain of command to stop local Somali's from infiltrating the camp to steal things. They couldn't do that simply by putting up a concertina wire fence, so they fell back on their training and began to execute aggressive domination of the battle space by ambush and taking prisoners. However, they had been given a drug called mefloquine by the chain of command, which was known to incite psychotic behavior, and they were caught up in the hyper aggressive rage aspect of that, thus all heck broke lose in the prisoner detention area

You know the thing that makes thermonuclear bombs more dangerous or less dangerous is not really the yield, so much as it is a function of the make up of the warhead and how it is employed. So you can have "clean" thermonuclear bomb and employ it in way that generates almost no nuclear fallout at all, and you can have a "dirty" thermonuclear bomb which maximizes nuclear fallout, airburst neotron bomb at the cleanest end of the spectrum, low detonated Operation Red Wings style super dirty bombs at the other. It's all about how much uranium you build into the warhead or not, and how high you detonate it or not. Hence a 100 kiloton dirty profile is exponentially more destructive than a 50 megaton air burst without uranium casing.

What is Wrong With the United State?
Dougie93 replied to Iznogoud's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
That is all social history, which is what is used by the public school system to erase the central narrative of Canadian history, for the purposes of propping up a nanny socialist welfare gulag which was never the purpose of Confederation, but so long Canadians do not know the purpose of things, they do not have the central narrative and so can be brainwashed in essence into believing that this is how Canada was supposed to be and how it has to be. -
Should Canada suspend relations with China?
Dougie93 replied to turningrite's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
All roads lead to Rome, as all these issues are directly related at the strategic level to failed state Confederation and the nanny socialist welfare gulag which occupies the power vacuum, resulting in a post national state which is as helpless as a baby and so simply rendered into a no mans land in a cold war between the Americans and Chinese. The only way to solve the problem is to break out of this mafia state to found smaller, more efficient and actually democratic and so stable countries in its place. -
You only turn into a Brazil if you don't have the rule of law, so it's turning into a mini-Brazil now, but not because of the immigrants, rather because the Liberal Party of Canada is the only real state here for all intents and purposes, and it is a mafia state which operates lawlessly.
-
I mean, this is still mission accomplished for the Liberal Party of Canada; "don't mess with us, because we can make serious trouble for any of you through our police state, even if you get off, the legal bills alone will wreck your life". So they have the forces entire chain of command cowed into not upholding their oaths in the face of the Liberal Party of Canada mafia state, same as all despotic states do, Russia, China, etc
-
It would turn into an economic powerhouse like a Giant Hong Kong, it simply wouldn't run a nanny socialist welfare state anymore.

Actually, that's not quite what Friedman said, here's what Friedman said; And

Canada is a welfare-warfare state, a socialist state corporate welfare gulag propped up by the American military industrial complex. War is the source of all the nice things what Canadians have.
