Planned Parenthood is for abortions....any garden variety health clinic or doctor can provide other services.
Well, of course there's other places to get healthcare. What if you cant afford those other places?
I have lots of friends in the US who go to PP for Healthcare because that's what they can afford and they are darn grateful for it.

The March for Life 2017 in Washington DC was not organized by Planned Parenthood.
I don't blame them. Pro-Lifers are a pretty violent bunch.

Aftermath[edit]
The editorial board of The New York Times described CMP's actions as a "campaign of deception against Planned Parenthood", and wrote that the "video campaign is a dishonest attempt to make legal, voluntary and potentially lifesaving tissue donations appear nefarious and illegal". Supporters of Planned Parenthood have complained that the videos were "highly edited",[21][22] although the Center for Medical Progress has released unedited videos along with the much shorter edited versions.[23][24][25] Defending the release of the videos in the Washington Post, columnist Charles Krauthammer said "these revelations will have an effect on public perceptions . . . by throwing open the door to the backroom where that being [the developing infant in utero] is destroyed".[26]
Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood, "personally apologize[d] for the staff member's tone and statements", saying the videos were "unacceptable".[27] Dawn Laguens, executive vice president of PPFA, stated: "The latest [fifth] tape has at least 20 substantial and unexplained edits. Previous tapes released by this extremist group were 'heavily edited' in order to distort what was actually said. These videos are intended to shock and deceive the public."[21] In a letter to a Congressional committee, PPFA wrote: "A group of extremists who have intimidated women and doctors for years—in their agenda to ban abortion completely—are not 'documenting' misdeeds; they are trying to create them, quite unsuccessfully."[3]

The smear campaign also resulted in a gunman killing 3 people at a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs.

Drug running tunnels are not just on the Mexican border....Canadians build them too.
I think everyone does. Al Capone was American and I've toured his tunnels in Moose Jaw.

What facts do you have? What you've got are warped speculations borne out of a twisted and evil ideology! You have nothing logical to back it up!
OK. I'm done with you.
The facts have been presented to you every time you screech about it, and you still refuse to even open the links.
When someone basically says, "I don't care what the facts say!!! I'm going to stick to what I want to believe!!"......yeah, I'm done.

What? You think underground butchers will be so many?
You can disagree with the facts all you want, Betsy.
You can scream it, bold it, enlarge the letters and make them red.
It doesn't change the facts.

Common sense.
Answer these:
1. if doctors who perform abortion today will stop performing abortion - what do you think will happen? More or fewer abortions?
2. If legal abortion isn't available, and the only abortion you could get is thru underground abortion butcher clinics - what do you think will happen? More or fewer women will have unprotected sex?
Well, you answered #1 yourself in the first sentence of #2.......
I'm going to go with the facts on this one, Betsy and leave you alone with your.......errr.......ummmm........."common sense" which seems to override facts and data.

Do you know if she's a practicing lesbian?
Why would it matter? Either you're gay or you're not.

but Illegal abortion will result in fewer abortions!
You keep saying this, but no proof.
And you have thus far refused to even look at all the links that show this is false.

So why nring up her lesbianism? Why does it matter to you if she's a lesbian?
Lesbians don't get pregnant? You think she's the only lesbian who got pregnant?
There's that reading comprehension problem again....
I'm just curious why you hold her up as a paragon of Christian virtue on one area.

Just now, betsy said:
You holding her being a lesbian against her? You're using her lesbianism to demonize her now?
My daughter is gay, so......No.
But you are holding her up as a paragon of your values.
I was just wondering if you knew she was gay. Cus I'm pretty sure you don't agree with that.

I fully agree with you there. I think that's another thing that pro-abortionists overlook in their liberation of women. In addition, I'd say many young girls have regrets for their decision to abort. I don't know what Planned Parenthood does to council these girls - maybe someone else knows.
The doc I worked for referred our 2 patients for counselling - obviously the one because it was a rape. The other struggled with the decision and suffered for it. She kept apologizing to us and I finally told her, "Sweetie, I'm not here to judge you. I'm just here to help you get through this."

Well, i'm glad you asked. I've never had an abortion either, so that puts us on even ground.
But, I've watched and listened for many years and along with your rape and incest scenarios, let me give some real world reasons why women get a lot of abortions; don't want to tell parents about pregnancy, don't want stigma attached with being pregnant (sex is liberating, but single motherhood makes me a slut), stretch marks/getting fat, and one night stand gone wrong, don't want to attached to that loser she slept with. I know, stats probably say that every girl is worried about her inability to parent or how it will affect their education, but I've never met someone who had an abortion not mention at least one of these factors.
Just for the record, I'm not pro-abortion for any old reason.
I'm just pro-choice. Let people make their own decisions in that regard.
I have a lot of concern for the psychological effects, which I don't think are often addressed or sometimes considered.

An abortion is easier than having a wisdom tooth removed - if that's what you want to know.
I've only ever had one wisdom tooth pulled. Never experienced an abortion. How did it go for you?

You think there are 100,000+ abortions a day because of rape, incest and losing their man?
You think there are 100,000+ abortions a day because they are fun and easy.

I'm Canadian and I'd rather NOT fund abortions globally...thanks.
I wasn't talking globally, but I understand your point.
There's a few things I'd rather not fund with our healthcare dollars either, but......

That's swell, but there are still many women who consider abortion to be birth control. For the very reasons you cite, it is also a reproductive and mental health issue for women after having abortion(s). Real people should pay for their real abortions, not taxpayers.
I'd rather help pay for all of them, than deny rape victims, incest victims, women whose men have abandoned the family the availability and cost.
But then, I'm Canadian.

^^You don't think that the ease of getting an abortion plays into a woman's thought process when making her decisions about her sex life?
You think abortions are done for the "ease" of them?

My argument above with numbers is one of data, logic, and deduction, not emotion. Any women who has multiple abortions clearly is at ease with doing so, IMHO.
I really do think those women are rare.
For "many" women - abortion is an angonizingly gut-wrenching decision. It is a very emotionally charged issue and the numbers, data and deduction do not reflect that there are real, actual people behind those numbers.
For that reason, I believe it is a decision best left to the individual women and their doctors.

Youd have to ask the women why they chose that option.
