Tens of thousands of people every year are injured or killed by someone driving or from getting hit be a vehicle. So, we should get rid of vehicles because of it? Accidents happen. I know enough about wars to know that war is no good for the world or the people that have to live thru it. Your relatives saw war as any other soldier or civilian would see war. Was this guy allowed into Canada knowing that he had some kind of mental illness problems? Was he not checked out first to see if he was having mental problems and maybe he would eventually become a burden and a danger to the Canadian taxpayer's? This needs to be questioned also. A well equipped Coast Guard can chase off invaders easy enough. I agree, the UN is a big joke, and that is why we need a military style Coast Guard to protect Canada's borders, and it can be done if the will is there. I think that you have read to much western propaganda. Hitler lost the war, and thus goes the spoils and the attacks against the loser. If Hitler won the war, then he would then be able to gloat, and the western media would have been forced to make our leaders out to be the bad guys. It can work both ways. You nor I have any clue as to why or what the real reason was for Hitler to attack Poland. If you want to know the reason why, go ask Hitler. The peasants are the elite globalists puppets. They pull the strings, and we have to dance to their tunes. But the peasants can't get this thru their ears and into their brains, and continually allow themselves to be yanked by their strings attached to themselves by their elite masters.

I don't think that our politicians care much about our Coast Guard or the military. But I do believe that a well militarized Coast Guard should do the trick easy enough. We don't need a military to get involved with another country and their wars. We need a Coast Guard that won't fool around when it comes to our borders and will defend Canada's borders at all costs. The American Coast Guard does just that, and some are armed to the teeth. The hell with WW2. Does nobody get it that war is a racket, and the only losers are we the tax paying peasants. We go off to war and get wounded or killed while the elite sit back and make lots of money from it. The warmongering elite globalists are the enemy of we the peasants, not the people of other countries. The people of other countries don't want to have to go off to war either. The people just want to work and live in peace, not get involved in constant wars created for them. Eliminating all military from all countries will give all us peace. This is what you should be working for.

Pipelines have been around for decades. So, a couple of pipelines develop a leak or two. No big deal, it gets cleaned up. Gee, I wonder how the environmentalists felt when Mount St. Helen's volcano blew her top? The devastation from that explosion alone should have wiped out humanity, but of course we all know that didn't happen. Millions of trees and animals perished and yet we are all still here. Mother nature cleaned the mess up, and everything is just about back to normal. So, a pipeline leak or spill will not result in the world coming to an end. I just don't get it as to why all people get all upset over an oil spill? I will take an oil spill anytime to not having a car to get around in. Works for me.

Good one. The environmentalists are the first ones to use oil and gas. They appear to never like to practice what they preach. They are a joke, and they would never walk to wherever they need to go. Especially if their destination was a thousand miles away. They will say, ok, let's take the car.

Without oil today where would we be? Oil runs the world or has this not occoured to you? Jobs come first, not fish. Oil companies are just as concerned about oil spills as the rest of us are. Oh yes, the fish and the frogs? The fish and the frogs that can stop big huge projects that create jobs because the environmental people don't want those fish to have to take another route or river around. That sounds so funny to me when I hear people say "who speaks for the fish"? The fish will survive just like every other animal and human on earth have too when a natural earthly disaster hits them. With the environmental crowd, the death of a fish or frog is the end of the world to them. Crazy.

The government is good at doing nothing. They screw things up more than they do anything right. The government is the problem, not the solution.

With what I am getting from all of the anti-oil sands, anti-Northern Gateway environmentalist crowd is that they want us all to go back into the stone age. Well for myself, I would rather have a few oil spills rather than having to go back to the old days, and having to end up living in a cave. Too much hard work involved. Electricity has spoiled me now, and I do like driving around in my vehicle. It beats walking and driving any where far. Works for me.
