Well according to twitter they had 355 votes out of 800 eligible members in TD. You don't have to be arrogant all the time just because you're a Dipper you know.

What about the fact that even though Topp raised the most money he had the fewest donors out of the top 5 candidates? Mulcair had twice as many donors as Topp, and both Dewar and Cullen had more donors then Topp and Nash.

The by-election is set for March 12. The Liberals seem to have screwed up any chance of winning this riding by waiting so long to nominate a candidate, the NDP should have an easy win.

Andrew Keyes will be the Conservative candidate.

I've been involved in politics enough to know 400 people showing up in the deceased leader's riding is pitiful.

The PC Party can get nearly 1300 people to vote in a nomination meeting a district of less then 7000 and there's only 400 members, out of 75,000 electors, in Jack Layton's old riding who bothered to vote for their next candidate. Yeah that sounds just wonderful.

The NDP would ruin this country by raising all of our taxes and driving business away. Last week we saw Megan Leslie applauding the loss of jobs, and Nathan Cullen agreeing with her. Look how Obama has screwed up the United States and his views aren't half as hardcore as someone like Peggy Nash.

I would much rather the Liberals as the alternative so our country don't gt destroyed by the NDP. We don't need to be a social welfare state like those in Europe that completely screwed.

Ask the members who were disciplined for voting to get rid of the gun registry.
