One bite at a time?" Well, going from Trudeau's comments about how to treat other people to how he should be treated is like eating that elephant in one bite. The status quo for Libs is "old stock canadians suck, quebecers are better than the rest of the country, terrorists are ok people, Alberta oil and coal are the two worst things on the planet but Saudi oil and chinese coal are ok..." There's not even any common sense in it. They feel like by vilifying western-Canadian everything at every turn and being pro-foreign countries proves that they're on moral high ground and completely beyond reproach.

I'd be more interested in seeing what happens to the money that we give to other countries. Seeing how much of it gets to it's stated target, how much goes to buying [green-energy-powered ] yachts and jets for classic human rights abusers, and how much makes it's way into offshore accounts that belong to the people involved in giving our money away.

If this blackface saga had come up before the Conservative leadership was determined then voters might have had more leeway to pick a candidate that was so far to the right. Scheer was hand-picked to beat Trudeau, not necessarily to run the tightest ship. Trudeau would have beaten Bernier like a rented mule in a head-to-head. To be honest, Trudeau might still be able to beat Bernier right now if Bernier was leading the CPCs. Trudeau can't punch down on Scheer from the current altitude of his moral ground but could convince people that he was landing shots on Bernier.

I'm not sure who you're asking, but I don't know the answer. I would be interested to know how politicians get so rich though. People make a big deal about seeing people's tax filings when they become President, it would be just as worthwhile to see what they look like during and shortly after winning political power. Obama's net worth went up from less than $500K to tens of millions of dollars over the 8 years he was President and he only made $400K per year - a bit over $3M. I know that theyw rote some books, so there's a chance it's legit, but if I was an American I'd really want to know.

She also lost the election by a HUGE margin. If you google electoral college you'll see it says that it was set up so that the entire election couldn't be decided by just winning in NYC, Boston, Hartford, Philadelphia and I forget the other city. So in other words, the voters in 5 cities don't run the whole country. FYI Hillary won California by 4.4 million votes Zeitgeist (8.7M to 4.4M). So the truth is that Trump won the rest of America by almost 2 million votes. By your [anti-electoral-college] reasoning California should just be allowed to elect the President.

You're still a racist. You're fixated on race, and you're constantly assigning blame/hate on a race of people and acting like they alone possess certain bad traits that no other race of people ever did. That's what a racist is, and there's no escaping that. Obama was half black and half white and he admitted to being a racist. If you have a bit more melanin in your skin than the average redhead that just helps with blocking UV rays and hiding blemishes, it doesn't mean that you can say whatever you want without being a racist. Your thoughts and your comments make you a racist, not your skin.

The word "too" doesn't imply that Scheer is a racist, it just means that Trudeau's name just got added to the list of racists. The sensationalized stories, plus the new Trudeau-era anti-pipeline legislations where a single elected or hereditary chief is all it takes to shut down an entire pipeline, plus the wealthy lobbyists who pay protestors [and maybe the occasional hereditary chief?] are working 100%. Even the fact that we are paying $.60 per litre more for gas in BC than they pay in Alberta doesn't really sway people's opinions much.

I have seen other famous people wear blackface before and not been upset by it. I wouldn't immediately throw someone under a bus for doing it as long as they weren't doing things that reinforce racial stereotypes or just mock black people.
