I have heard stories and seen so many scenes of bravery by Ukrainian citizens taking up arms and fighting back against the much superior Russian invading force, I am touched by them. Another tube I saw returning Ukrainian citizens coming back just to join the civil paramilitary forces. I saw a father taking his wife and children to the border with a determination to come back and take up arm and fight for his country. My best wishes for the people of Ukraine.

Putin regime has long supported the most barbaric regimes like Bashire Assad of Syria and islamic republic of Iran causing millions of deaths and destructions caused by these murderous regimes in these countries. It is another evidence against the barbaric nature of the regime of Vladimir Putin.

Latest update: Ukrainian army and citizens of this proud country are putting stiff resistance to murderous invading Russian forces. I have seen many abandoned Russian tanks and armored vehicles and all major Ukrainian cities are still in Ukrainian control in the 4th day of this aggression. Many civilians in Ukraine have been deliberately targeted and killed by Russians and close to half a million Ukrainian women and children have so far become refugees in neighboring countries but resistance by brave Ukrainian army and citizens will continue until the last dirty Russian soldier is pushed and kicked out of Ukraine,

Yes good political analysis. It makes sense. Yes the West especially US did support military dictatorships in South and central America, Middle East and Asia in the past however, Russians (a major part of Soviet Union) did as bad if not worse. While the West supporting those corrupt dictatorships the Russian virtually colonized half of Europe, and supported military dictatorships in Africa like Sudan, Ethiopia and Afghanistan. The difference is that the West has stopped doing so but the Russians still do supporting murderous regimes in Iran, Syria.

What I don't understand is why the West have started military aid now? They knew about the invasion for weeks now. Biden has been warning about this invasion so why they didn't deliver all these stinger missiles and anti tank missiles long time ago to Ukraine? And how the hell they are going to deliver these with the airports closed or bombed. Can Ukraine hold off the damn Russians till these weapons are in place and in use? Is this help too little too late? Why the hell not sooner?

Who is they? I want Putin dies and Russia disintegrates.

Logic doesn't apply to men like him. Putin is not the only character not following common sense in his actions. Men like him are plenty in the history. Madmen sacrificing their nation, their country and sometimes the entire world for their uncalculated ambitions.

In any dictatorship, the regime doesn't care about loss of lives of their own soldiers. That is not considered a cost to them only being defeated is considered a cost. Usually they sacrifice the entire population if they need to, in order to achieve their goals. The most recent example is Iran-Iraq war. The invading Iraqi army had landmines all over the occupied Iran. But the Iran regime used human mass raids (children promised heaven asked or forced to run over the mine fields) to liberate the occupied lands. Tens of thousands were killed. As mentioned, The Red army did not care about human lives lost and to a lesser extend this regime (Putin) does not care either however, in spite of Putin being a mass murderer so far there is no comparison between him and another mass murderer Stalin.

I think the most effective sanction would be to remove Russia from SWIFT banking system to hit hard on their trade anywhere in the world. Not sure why Germany and Italy and France are reluctant to do so. Latest news is that Ukrainian army is putting a fight in Kiev and a large portion of the Capital still in their control. Putin must be put on trial for war crimes as many civilians have been killed. Ukraine will be a graveyard for Russia's invading military which will hopefully put Putin in grave too, 6 feet deep. Russian invaders tried to capture a strategic airport near Kiev so that they can land their ground forces near the Capital and attack Kiev but they were pushed back by defending Ukrainian Army. Victory to Ukraine and death and destruction to Russia and Putin.

In spite of repeated denials by the leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin, last night ordered Russian army to invade Ukraine. https://globalnews.ca/news/8641948/ukraine-russia-putin-war/ The brave Ukrainian army is defending and putting a fight against the much stronger Russian invading forces and Ukraine has reportedly shot down six Russian invader planes and one helicopter. Canada and Western allies have immediately slapped Russia with punishing sanctions. We must do everything we can to help to defeat this Russian aggression in Europe which if not defeated could engulf the whole world.

This damn evil country did it again after weeks of denials they eventually did it and invaded Ukraine. Murderous Putin no wonder his best friends and allies are islamic Iran, Military murderous Assad and murderous North Korea.

There is no line to draw. They participated in an illegal occupation and now they are parking in private property to regroup and repeat the illegal act again. They should be put on trial for participating in an illegal occupation and if found guilty based on the existing laws then sentenced and if not then freed.
