I never thought I would agree with this guy on anything but I do on this statement!!!!!!!!!!!!. Repeat rapist (child or not) should be put to death too if proven guilty in the court of law. No second chance to harm or murder a second defenseless innocent child or a third chance to hurt or kill an innocent woman.

Bring back capital punishment now: Absolutely agree 100%. I have always been strong supporter and advocate of capital punishment for those committing violence against defenseless women and children. I was very disappointed when in Mulroney era whom I voted for, capital punishment was voted out. Our justice system appears to protect the criminals. The sub-human bastard murderer or rapist gets all the protection of the justice system including a trial, court and lawyer but the victims don't when they are attacked raped or murdered. The subhuman criminal gets paroled and comes out and many of them commit same crime again taking second or third victims. Send the violent criminals to hell the first time that they commit a proven violent crime against women and children IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE SECOND ND THIRD OR SUBSEQUENT VICTIMS. Electric chair for violent offenders especially repeat offenders. Our politicians are too cowards to do what needs to be done. Shame on them for failing to protect our defenseless and weak.

In the same post that you quoted I said past and present. At least three or four of those countries are committing atrocities against civilians near past or present like Russia's atrocities in Syria and Ukraine, USA's and UK's atrocities in Iraq and Afghanistan, Israel's atrocities in occupied land. Btw if by today you meant today literally then today Muslim extremists kill no one to the best of my knowledge but in 2001 (as per his examples) or 2014 or 2013..... All I am saying I am trying to make a point that extremists and killers are in every race, religion or nationality and not limited to one group and to those who say Muslims are the only ones and all of them are evil then as a believer of equality of womankind/mankind regardless of race or religion I point out to them that their own kind has done as bad if not by far worse with historical as well as present tense evidence they can't deny and if they do either they are ignorant or blinded by hate unable to see the facts.

I rest my case. And going back to Muslims, their crimes compared with your white democracies (your favorite being Rhodesia as I recall) were/are causing much more deaths and suffering than Muslim extremist did/do.

Do you wish me to list atrocities committed by non-Muslims? All over the world? Almost entirely by Christian countries? Past and present? I have to write a book on that!!!. Germany?, Russia?, UK?, Serbia?, USA, Israel, France, .......... Rounding up innocent civilians, sending them to execution camps, raping their women, Bombings of defenseless civilians, hundreds of thousands dead? Or because they don't hide in a plane or don't wear a bomb to themselves then they are excused in your eyes? Really unbelievable Hypocrisy.

Why they don't stay where they can be among their own and practice their religion too without being looked at with anger or prejudism every day? Who wants to look at them anyways!!! I don't know much about Pentecostal or Amish people and culture so I won't comment on that. From the posts I have been reading since I join this site I suddenly realized that their number (those hate people who may look or dress or behave differently) may be much greater than I thought in Canada!!!!. It wasn't a nice surprise so I can imagine how hard it may be to live as a Muslim in the West these days.

Actually I edited that to a tiny minority because I realized when I said "they" I was referring to all. Something I have been objecting to others all along very strongly. Well said. Yes I am sick too of reading their hateful comments and I know it is best to ignore the hateful and ignorant but somehow find it hard to remain silent against so much display of hate and prejudice.

There are fundamentalists in every religion. They don't see their own and attack others. Some Christians too stoned those who committed adultery and killed homosexuals and raped women and abused/abuse children and treated women as second class citizens not long ago and some still do in some parts of the world but they don't see it. considering that Islam came some 600 years after Christianity just read the history what Christians were doing 600 years ago (unfortunately the hateful is ignorant and likely unable to read history) when that religion was 1400 years old.

Yes I am Liberal but not this liberal party with Trudeau around. Yes the liberal did all that at the time that country's finances was real bad and was losing its competitiveness and productivity and Canadian currency was sinking. They had no choice but to cut and balance budget over time. It was not out of selfishness but a nationalist act and for the good of the country was a necessary medicine as sour as it was. But these Cons did it for themselves. They wanted to show the voters that they keep their promise at any cost and retain their conservative core support. All economists were saying that a few billion in deficit or one year sooner or later will not make a difference to an economy of this size but they had to do it for their own sake no matter how many or who they hurt.

You are making allegations you cannot prove. Like Syrians hating Jews. Like Canadian Jews will not be safe (we have already one million Muslims. How many Canadian Jews are hurt past many years?). Why you see it as accusation!!!!!!???? When I see someone who so strongly supports certain group of people I ask if they belong to that group to see how biased or unbiased they are. You only accuse if you falsely state someone of being or doing a bad thing. Why you regard my statement as accusations. I think it was you or your friend who once asked me if I belong to certain nationality for admiring them for what they have achieved. I have no problem with Jews whatsoever or unlike you any other race or religion. All my posts say that I judge people NOT based on race, religion, skin color, gender, orientation but size of their hearts and minds. And you know it well since you have been reading my posts.

I am not an expert in Muslim laws and traditions and never had Syrian friends (except a student I had when I was teaching) but to answer your questions They may hate the actions of Israeli government and army but no very likely no, generally speaking Syrian Muslims don't hate Jews. Homosexuality may be illegal in Syria and many other countries in the world I don't know. No reason to hate the whole nation for that. I guess that you conveniently forgetting that in many Christian based countries homosexuals are also the target as we speak. And as recent as 150 years ago it was punishable by death in Canada too. And 150 years ago Canada was almost 100% Christian. From what I hear Women are not supposed to be regarded as sex objects. In some Muslim countries they assume high positions. What hate propaganda is when one emphases on a single and a few possible unacceptable habits and magnifies them and associates them with a specific group of people as all guilty and repeat it again and again trying to turn people against that certain group encouraging people to hate them or ban them from equal rights or equal access.
