Alberta's NDP government appoints out of province staff
Freddy replied to Argus's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Yea,I remember when they said the same thing for hydro power. And then we found out. Yea , I remember Ethinol was going to save the day. And then we found out we would use up all our agricultural land to grow stuff to make it, causing food prices to skyrocket. I'm looking forward to finding out all the unforeseen challenges of solar panelling the earth. -

Once the majority of the earth is panelled with solar absorbing technology, we will have a whole new set of problem to deal with. The same way hydro power caused all kinds of unforeseen problems. -

I can't wait to see the day our planet looks like a giant solar panel Death Star, and everyone look back to the good old days, Of carbon emissions. -

It is down due to higher competition, Rather then from lack of demand. Two very different situations, That can have a similar result. But let's not confuse the two please.Saying a market is in decline because it's more competitive is funny. But most people don't have the intellectual prowess to understand the complicated world of supply and demand. The ability to see the bigger picture is only given to a small percentage of humans. Mostly because the majority can't put their own biased ideology aside. Look at on guard for thee as a example. He is so stuck in his environmental biased ideology, he is actually contemplating turning the earth into a giant Death Star and is looking forward to it. He, like the majority of humanity lacks vision. Most ordinary people do. -

Human breathing is not very unlike exhausted fumes. A matter of fact, All animals exhaust carbon. I think that's a better idea then wrapping the earth into a giant solar panel Death Star like you are so horny to do. -

Solar power takes a lot of room. Thousands and thousands of acres of land. Let's turn the earth into a giant Death Star looking solar panel. It too will have unforeseen consequences. -

/face palm With oil so low we can produce electricity at a very low cost. Why would we pay 300$ electricity bills with renewable energy when anyone can buy a gas generator and make their own electricity cheaper? Ya I know this is hard stuff to understand. -

. Well let's stop calling the oil market a declining market, and call it what it really is. The oil market is more competitive today then it once was when the price of a barrel was over 100$ Due to our energy independence policy. That means we achieved what we set out to do with our policy. The natural reaction should be to be happy our policy worked. The world now enjoys lower oil costs as a result of our oil energy independence policy. Rejoice!!! Success!!!! -

Yes, let me break it down for you. Saudi had the power to set the prices. It then decided to set them high by pumping slowly. We then decided to adopt a independence oil energy policy and produce our own so that the Saudi could not have this power over us. And when the Saudi's stopped pumping at a artificially low rate, it did so in reaction to our energy independence policy. It's called competition. But that is way to complicated for most to understand. -

cybercoma, on 12 Jun 2015 - 9:33 PM, said: The market price of oil is down. Jesus. Do you guys have a salient point here with your pedantics? North America set out to achieve oil energy independence. It was in a whole bunch of Obama speeches. "Energy Independence for America". The moment the Saudi's stopped pumping at a slow rate, that goal was achieved. Today's outcome is a victory for North America energy independence policy. Difficult to understand I know. Edited by Freddy, Today, 09:43 PM. -

Hey, it's true. The world is a complicated place. I wouldn't expect the average human to understand it. -

To call it a declining market, would be silly. As the demand is not down. In this case it is the supply that has risen. It's very difficult stuff to understand -

OPEC was intentional pumping it out slowly. And this year changed its slow pumping policy to a new regular pumping speed. I know right? Very difficult stuff to understand. -

I read in a National Geographic that it's part of a women, "estrogen package deal" to help with the difficulty of caring for a new born. More emotional would equate loving her child faster. And that would help with the chances of survival of the baby. -
if you repeat enough times eventually the not as intelligent will catch on.

I think he understands there is no point in arguing his saying. Because he made it sarcastically as a comparison to something else. He also understands that a majority of people on earth lack the IQ to understand that.
