Ok folks got a juicy one to share with you guys. Last Sunday, March 1st, my wife and I arrived at Pearson from a direct flight from Hong Kong. I filled out our claims form on the plane and handed it to the customs officer after waiting in line. I was asked if I visited some African countries and if I was in contact with anyone exposed to ebola. I said no. I then said to this clown that that was a big F'n joke and just a racist scam! He mumbled about something I can't recal. He asked me what country I am coming from and I told him it's in the passport. He exclaimed "I'm asking you a direct question" or something like that. I then took this guys picture and then he hit the freekin roof and started crying to his other bouncer buddy that I took his picture. They don't like it when you take their pictures apparently. Like I said before, the cops there HAVE guns! But they do not carry guns. You really believe they would be out matched if some criminals were armed???? They probably have access to all kinds of lethal weapons, but they don't go around parading them while on regular duty. WWWTT

Oh sorry bro. I just came back from my seventh trip there just this past Sunday and in the city of Nanning, capital of Guangxi province, I didn't see any police wearing vests or guns. Also didn't notice guns on them in Shenzhen. However, at the airports, they are dressed in riot gear and carry batons. I may have seen them carry firearms at the airport. But not out on the city streets. I guess it's possible your link may be true, but only on a small scale at most. WWWTT

Have any pictures or vids???? Camera cell phones are really popular in China. I'm sure there are some cases. After all people are all the same. Keep in mind that there are 1.4 billion. So for every Canadian there's what, 45-50 Chinese? For every American there's 4-5 Chinese. Use the ratios in known cases. Also, point being made was there are fewer police in China per capita and less crime per capita. Cops don't wear guns or bullet proof vests. From what I'm told from people there, they can get guns at the scene in a fast hurry if need be. I also hear the cops in Newfoundland don't carry guns either. This use to be a more common practice I believe. WWWTT
