When was it in life did you start accepting Canada should not expect too much from its leaders? Wow thats something to write buddy! But actually you are partially right.The high cost of purchasing and maintaining a vehicle does put ownership out of range for many people,not just Chinese. However in China people enjoy riding their bikes!And people enjoy spending time with family and friends.So many people there would rather live close to their work to make their commute short.By either bike or public transportation.Or find work even at a cut that is close to where they live. Actually there is a treand well underway now in southern Ontario.Where many people are moving back to the downtown cores of big cities such as Toronto.Just look at the housing starts for Ontario.Over 50% of the starts are for high rise condos in major urban areas.10 yrs ago it was less than 25%! The main reason for this is the dramatic increased cost of housing and transportation and not to mention and maybe the most important factor is the stupid freekin time spent commuting!People in Canada(GTA anyways) are starting to say "what am I freekin doing spending 2-3 hours everyday of my life in a stupid car? But going back to China having a lower emmision per capita,yes thats true and aswell China is the largest investor in green energy so that ratio may not decrease but could potentially increase even further!(or is it the other way around?) Actually partially you are right! Canada has become more habitable due to burning fossil fuels and electricity for central heat during the cool/cold months. In Ontario the building code will change come Jan.1 2012.Structures will have to be insulated 25% more/better. I am not sure of exact details yet but soon enough I'll be up to speed on the new requirments. But many Canadians live in single detached,semi and townhouses,and these habitats are not as energy efficient as multi unit dwellings Aswell Canadians are addicted to commuting by themselves in gas guzlers.And commuting long distances. I'm sure there are other things too. WWWTT

Finaly! Of everything you have written I have found one sentence that actually makes sence ringing truth. The NDP does not have inexhaustable tax payer revenue at their disposal-like the conservatives do! And thats what this all boils down too isn't it! The conservatives wouldn't lose one minutes sleep wasting tax payers dollars till the ends of time! This isn't over. If the NDP can wrap up this case airtight it will only be a matter of timing. I think it may be accurate to say that if you pay taxes to a government body,you are entitled to a single vote in that bodies election for representation. The exemption may be that the provinces may require residence of one year. Does this sound close? WWWTT

How many times are you going to repeat things we all know?5 times?10 times?20 times? Keep in mind that what an MP "does" say in the house can be used against him if in fact he was lying. You could be right in implying that an MP may have said something that could expose themeselves. I'm sure everyone's reviewing and consulting. Aswell there are many other issues that deserve attention so moving away from this McKay issue for the time being is reasonable. I personally am not convinced that this issue is over! In fact I believe that what we are witnessing now is a strong confident and capable NDP opposition very organized strategically targeting weekness in the government.This attack on McKay has thrown the government off balance and they need time to regroup. I doubt this issue is dead and I wouldn't look too much into this temporary lull. WWWTT
