2 days is a long time for some but without the US and its EU allies Canada would be in peril over what it has been up to with Russia. Dont fixate on Russia, China is growing rapidly in its navy it has mulitple aircraft carriers... it still ain't the US but if you look at the budget it is working with it is doing way more bang for buck. Russia is trying, it has a much more aggressive military program than Canada currently, including plans for landing ships - although not as big as the Mistrals that were plundered from it. SPEAKING OF WHICH, if Russia actually let them be sold there is a a quick fix but wait Canada can't afford it right but Russia can? Russia is operating a fleet in the Gulf of Mexico as we speak.
-
It could have been worse. Look at it this way, Canada's Navy fleet doesn't have much of a purpose. The only credible threats are either half way around the world with brown water fleets OR China, Russia or South American Countries such as Brazil. I can't imagine India "invading" Canada. For that matter theonly two countries China and Russia, happen to have missile systems that can destroy Air Craft Carriers, and they could sink any ship Canada can build for much less than it took to build. So what is left that it is essentially for domestic operations, or supply of US or EU fleets. Canada is sorely equiped to deal with Russia - and depends on the US for this. Canada is in denile that it will have a negligible Navy and manned Air Force as the years tick by, the sad fact is that both these are "obsolete" and outdated. Canada would be better off persuing a nuclear deterent, and putting its resources into a Merchant Marine that can be modularly upgraded with US technological systems or Canadian made systems. Canada is not a military power and a complex thinking it is is very dangerous. It should just be sending a big fat check to NATO at about 5% GDP and ask them what they should by because Canada is totally dependant on its NATO allies for anything but overthrowing third world countries without an airforce. Lets be serious those activities are totally not required and have resulted in perhaps more harm than good for global security, but that is a guessing game. Its what the Navy wanted though, so we can leave it at that. Canada appears totally dead in the water when it comes to its military as being able to cope with real potential enemies who just happen to have "defensive" militaries - China and Russia. Canada's Navy is essentially in the Black and Baltic bear in mind though Russia has an arctic though, but it also has missiles that can sink Canada's fleet. Without support ships it is dead in the water. But it lets Canada's leadership think they can play the game, and the money goes to the right people, but hell it could be worse. They know their role and what they need. Canada should just set the 5% GDP send it to the military / NATO and let them decide, shirts and arm chair generals shouldn't be making these calls. Canada should be encouraging its ship builders, for example LNG ships to suppy Europe if applicable or other ports. Having tankers than can double as supply ships would be double beneficial. Having a Commericial purpose would be great, like a Swiss Guard. Loan out the ships on contract for maritime security. These "free jobs" is just bad economic policy. Rent naval ships as part of an insurance policy for shipping, get commercial shipping to fill demand. Just building boats to eat up marine oil and wages, is just bad fiscal policy.

I didn't even know they started letting children vote - its their money rights, its just the parents who have the bank accounts right. What about giving the cheques to the kids directly, as I recall they are paying out right until normal kids graduate from highschool. That 10 dollars a month after taxes could go for buying a couple comic books or condoms, for the teens who want to fight the deficit for their children. They should just provide direct benefits to kids, Gclothing, GFood redeem coupons- could be used for Northern Food Grant coupons too. Meanwhile the people with money could be given the old tax credit and stop moving money back and forth. It is just a shell game. The only way that the money can be put to the place it needs to be is to make sure the money is only spendable on the things that need to be provided, and that is by providing them. Government should never be handing money out if there is an alternative, that is the only way it will stop extoring money from people. I think calling this vote buying quite lame, but the UCCB wasn't around in the past to insure good nutrition for everyone so, you know, hell maybe it will buy some votes, but anyone who looks at this critically should see that a $10 a month benefit is only going to really buy votes in Bangledesh or Guyana or other third world country, regardless of where Canada is headed under Conservative Government, the same people who would be bought by this lumpsum will have forgotten about it buy the time October roles around, of course tax season will be months later when they realize that most of it has to be paid back at the end of the year oh and after Christmas debt season. July is great though, maybe they can Vacation somewhere close by with the Canadian dollar depressed heavily? Things will turn around but calling this vote buying to anyone who sees the whole program is pretty insulting. A 1% GST cut vote buying. $10 a month for your kid, while they take a few thousand that same month, not so much.

FALSE They are referred to as MEMBER FOR... not member of parliament duh... senators are also a title. Regardless of what people "call them" they are all members of parliament. Senators have legislative equivalent power up to the house of commons of the UK etc.. (they are limited constitutionally on monetary bills however) "The Senate shall, subject to the Provisions of this Act, consist of One Hundred and five Members, who shall be styled Senators" IE MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT
-
FALSE MP's in the commons are called COMMONERS, MP's in the senate are called senators. They are both members of parliament. Parliament is comprised of the house of commons AND the senate. (as well as the monarch) in the UK the term is used more widely split between commoners and lords. (commoners of the house of commons, and lords of the house lords) Senators ARE MPs. They are styled as senators but they are definitely members of parliament, they just are not referred as such. Senators represent their provinces. ' ". The privileges, immunities, and powers to be held, enjoyed, and exercised by the Senate and by the House of Commons, and by the members thereof respectively, shall be such as are from time to time defined by Act of the Parliament of Canada, but so that any Act of the Parliament of Canada defining such privileges, immunities, and powers shall not confer any privileges, immunities, or powers exceeding those at the passing of such Act held, enjoyed, and exercised by the Commons House of Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and by the members thereof." "If he is adjudged Bankrupt or Insolvent, or applies for the Benefit of any Law relating to Insolvent Debtors, or becomes a public Defaulter;"

Wealth is just what you have that other people are willing to pay for. Earnings are how much you have available to accumulate wealth or provide for other costs. IE wealth is Capital income is earnings which can be applied to costs such as daily living needs or to acquire capital that may contribute to your wealth. Not all capital has worth to others, or holds the value that was paid for it. In some cultures wealth may be a wife, or a camel, or a cornfield, or a car, it is all a matter of cultural values that determines wealth, and wealth will vary from one person to another. Currency is a way societies hold value -which can relate to acquisition of wealth based upon a neutral barter system where currency widgets can be used to get other stuff. Within cultures that have currency the cost of goods is relative and usually does not change rapidly (but can). This is why currency is a novel way of saving earnings for future acquisition of wealth. Currency itself usually does have a nominal value such as the melt value or as toilet paper or decorative art however. In this sense the valuation of currency varies in a way to offset global changes in commodity or goods values. This means that goods may stay more relatively fixed to overall widget exchanges, as currency is an intermediary form of barter that is barter by notes. They definitely have wealth in terms of their capital but it is "not much usable" without pay user fees such as property taxes, licensing and insurance costs etc.. there are increased costs for living in different lifestyles. So if you live large you pay larger. So earnings is not like saying, I only need 5000/year to live on and survive. 5000 won't even pay some peoples property taxes. I am not even sure how we got to this argument but the bottom line is rich people have more luxury available. That is about it. Some people may have more free time spent with more hardship available. End of the day it is who the government gives the money to that determines earnings potential. The pubic service is the one directing the economy. The idea of the free market directly contradicts with taxation. Should anyone pay taxes more. The QUESTION THAT MATTERS IS WHO CAN PAY FOR WHAT IS NEEDED? It ain't the poor. The poor can be called up under a LEVY such as to build community housing or plant fields to lower costs to provide for the poor. The rich meanwhile have resources to provide for the roads to drive on the air security to insure they don't get blown up, and police to protect them from evisceration. Criminals don't need taxes to pay police, lets face that fact. Likewise poor people don't need roads to drive on with no vehicle. This is why blanket taxes FAIL, and only serve to embezzle for partisan purposes. People should be paying for what they need be it healthcare, roads to drive on, a military to protect their wealth, education for their children etc... but lets face it Canada is socialist so expect people to be complaining that they are getting unfairly treated boo hoo. Guess what the only people that care are the ones who don't have enough luxury to not give a damn. If they ain't complaining they can be taxed in a socialist world. If they are complaining they have something to tax. And no matter what no one will be happy until there is no tax. Government fails because it can't manage a whole bloody country to figure out a business model that earns its money other than the laziest method of jailing or murdering people who do not submit to extortion. THERE IS NO ARGUMENT BECAUSE THERE IS A MAJORITY, WHO CARES THEY WILL DO WHAT THEY WANT ANYWAY, ITS LIKE ONE PARTY THAT HASN'T GOTTEN IT RIGHT TELLING THE OTHER PARTY HOW TO DO IT RIGHT. How stupid are people? Is there a point where people who never get it right finally have that moment and become capable of governing. Or is governing all about surviving to the next election, if you survive mission accomplished. How much did you embezzle this term? Fact is who cares budget will pass, post up your own budget otherwise you have nothing other than you don't like it. Guess what, only tax accountants and the public service like taxes. -because tax is their tax. It is a broken system, it won't change. Stop whining already. No one wins everyone dies. Who cares. If you don't want to pay don't, but realize you will have to face the consequences of your actions. No one has to do anything but there is a gun waiting for your head if you resist.

Canada Supreme Court Rules Against Harper Again
nerve replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Criminals are in public before they are caught. If it is a petty crime leave them in the public. Get them the supports they need. Insure they pay restitution or repair the damage they did to society. Sitting in a jail cell doesn't fix the problem. It is like saying talk to the hand for months or years, it is an insane notion. (The whole basis of probation) The whole premise is removing anomie. However if your address the issue causing anomie, and reduce alternity through conflict theory benefits, you actually correct the problem instead of "removing the potential for a while". Get them into positive environments not master slave situations, this is suppose to be a free society, the model of "good government" is not based upon violating peoples fundamental human and charter rights. It is sick. It is a socially imbedded disease to have punishment akin to fixing issues. Why am I not allowed to beat the crap out of someone myself if they do something I don't like. Its not acceptable. Why should it be acceptable for government to control people through violence if it isn't required, or people aren't actually endangered. At no point did I say all people who are accused of crimes. I said petty vs. serious crimes. I think a chunk is just jerks in government positions abusing power positions. Or people of influence using the law to abuse people who transgress against them. There are serious criminals though, and these peoples shouldn't be in a prison either. They should be exported to a new place or given the option of taking the death penalty if they don't want to be new pioneers. Screw jail sentences everyone one should be life for serious criminals. The laws in Canada need an overhaul though. It makes sense that unjustified intentional killing, or other human rights violations such as rape, maiming, contamination with life threatening disease, mass destruction or injury with intent, causing death through malicious acts with intent, etc.. should be a get out of Canada card and to Northern Penal Colony, or Anticosti Island etc... The aim of government should be creating stability through providing people with opportunities to be included in society - not criminalized and effectively removed from society. You don't get rid of criminals by criminalizing them. Adding massive cost barriers to access to equality is just nonsensical. It is safe to say the conservative government is about destroying peoples lives to exact revenge on people who are likely just a result of a bad upbringing, drug addiction, lack of education and a bad media culture that glorifies crime and criminal culture. They want criminals, so they make them. It is political. First off the government should be managing the economy directly for the unemployed and insuring that a command economy works for some resource sectors, so people will be able to work in resource industries, that they will get the training for things like mining, agroforestry, oceanic resources, oil/gas, etc… The problem is that government is broke because it sold all the money makers to private interests that make billions off public resources. The government sold the means of creating wealth, so it can't provide a means of creating wealth to the people. Hence the problem, people won't accept nationalization of the source public wealth so government is doomed to debt. The whole basis of taxes is to take from people to pay for stuff, but the tax and spend is more spend than tax creating a debt burden on the public while allowing a middle class to exist. People outside the middle class or upper class are living in conditions that create hardship, then government creates more barriers for access to equal access to government. It strips peoples rights and forces them to effective slavery for survival. People who have had their rights violated and are being treated as trodden lumpen bodies instead of citizens then have nothing to lose. The other chunk of course is people who don't get what being criminalized will do to them, there are substance abusers, and uneducated people who just don't get it, they are within a habitus that doesn't provide them a top down view, it doesn't even provide them a bottom up view, they don't see the big picture. --- The bottom line is society needs to improve and get better. You can only do that by improving peoples conditions of life. At the end of the day most petty crime doesn't matter, the legal costs are often more than replacing what was stolen or damaged, it would be more effective for the government just to provide a fat check for 100 or 200 dollars or however much the damage was than spend 40,000 dollars on delaying someones life and violating their rights. Meanwhile 10,000 of that could be paid to get people a trade or some useful skill so they can contribute to society. Its just idiotic strategy. The problem is the culture, people are bastards who are sick and want to ruin peoples lives because they are sick. -
You are very wrong. You do it per capita as a portion of global population (about half a percent of safe emissions for Canadians) or by "how much the country "sinks" Then the gov can auction off what is left from personal consumption to industry to the highest bidders. Sold by the ton. Say 500,000 of these up for sale. Each year. Anyone emitting without using up their ton credits would be finned say 1 million per ton in excess prorated of course. Lets face it though greedy capitalist canadians don't give a damn how bad the world gets, they want their money, their luxury and their affluence. They are bastards and that is all there is too it. People want money for self gratification and experiencing life at a higher level. They would piss in someones cup if it got them 100,000 dollars a year. Hell some people would force the drink down someone else's throat for less than that. Its just a game of RAPE what you can rape from other people for your own personal profit. The way of unethical business practice - "THE PUBLIC" who the hell cares about the public, we have shareholders and bonuses to satisfy. This is business not the publics future well being. Is it a crime to give people cancer and destroy the world. Hell no, we are ruining the poors life over an extended time frame within a veiled process of systemic violence. We are not hurting people fast enough for it to matter. We will be dead and gone by the time this stuff rolls around let our kids and grandkids or someone else's kids and grandkids worry about it. The more money we get them now, the better chance of outliving some poor loser they have. Plus we want our vacation, and our new vehicle, and premium TV, and some toys, and other crap we don't need. What will we do without our sense of self importance and meeting the threshold of success within our greed driven contemporary society? That is what this is about, just taking someone else's RAPE money, by getting enough support or a majority. Sick people should just admit it instead of providing a song and dance and wasting peoples time. ----- The world needs to take Carbon out of the world, not "stop putting more into the atmosphere." This whole thing is just a "pollution debt". Government cannot get rid of debts. That is why this entire process is a waste of time. Government is totally incompetent to protect the public interest or resources or stakes, they are morons who manage things based upon shirking responsibility, extorting other people to do their bidding, and shoving off responsibility to the next losers, after enough people wake up to realize how much they suck, but have no choice but to vote for the next bunch of losers because the entire process is rigged and backed by people willing to kill anyone who opposes the self destruction, slavery, and debase immorality of the ruling class. The only hope is the rich realizing they will die too. It may take some time but regardless of being corrupt selfish putzes, they will at some point have that point of no return feeling and start pressuring their puppets in office to insure they don't die or get put under socialist military rule where their wealth is confiscated en masse. The clock is ticking. There are no "costs" you can't pay to stop environmental damage. It is idiocy to think that printing money without it being money made of carbon - like paper (even money isn't paper anymore), you aren't going to get rid of carbon. Carbon does not take bribes. Sorry try again.
-
The real issue is subnational territorial division s such as states and provinces implementing this themselves eg Ontario, Quebec and B.C.. This creates layers or potential duplication. The constitutionality needs to be looked into based upon division of powers. Is this a resource issue an environmental issue or a business issue. No tax is good tax. It should be a fine under environmental protection. Screw all these funny winner looser games. Either you break environmental protection laws or you don't. It should be based on maximum safe emissions. The trade aspect is bollocks it should be based upon safe release limits. The gov should implement a tax deduction program for carbon sink tech and carbon sequestration activities. This is a bigger issue for non boomers who will maybe be alive in 2050 or perhaps even 2100. The die off boomers not an issue, young people issue. It is a matter of ethics. Its not just the environmental effect but the geopolitical inputs at that point and the world the non boomers will be living in. We need to look into future costs not only to ourselves but also to our neighbours to the south and around the world, what is it doing to them? http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/impacts-adaptation/health.html If we can't pay for it now we cant pay for it then with more debt interest and a collapsing global environment, increase natural disasters such as forest fires. Costs are going to go up and without any investment to pay for those things it means total socialism in failing to implement your so-called left wing policies. Nothing will be done federally on then file to tighten industrial controls while the conservatives are in government. We have seen the opposite. There are other considerations though such as increasing US immigration. Also other migrants http://desmog.ca/2014/11/10/new-report-urges-canada-prepare-climate-migrants-warming-world-ccpa

Canada Supreme Court Rules Against Harper Again
nerve replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The justice system is really screwed up, not just the courts but the whole thing has faults.I do think that mandatory jail time is stupid. I think people making these laws need to go undercover in jail to see how much of a waste of tax payer dollars prison programs are. They appear as out of touch and strung along based upon sensationalism. Jail time is a horrible justice process that damages lives not rehabilitates. If you concentrate criminals you arnt removing criminal influences. Criminals need social help or a new life. If you dont give them a chance to make a stable healthy life it will drag things down. It is a joke these people cost more than someone breaking their back to earn a wage. Costs of incarceration are just too high. There should be a reform zone like taking a ghost town or some island, and anyone who cant live in public without breaking the serious laws should be exiled for life. 95% of criminals are totally fine if they are provided a stable life. Hanging people up in jail is only adding to the barrier of integration. Mandatory sentences or even minimum sentences or maximum sentences are faulty. However the real issue is a very rotten justice system filled with vindictive and people of bad ethical values. They are out for blood and venegence but then want to put these people back in society, the two don't mingle, you don't brutalize someone and destroy their life then say welcome back, that is just asking for retribution On the human rights abuses. Time heals nothing it only amplifies the problems. The whole thing is rotten substantiating bad practices by having mandatory jailtime is just making it worse. Canada needs to get serious. If they can't live in society get rid of them, and not in a cost inflated institution. More importantly in tune laws need to exist and a non jail petty offence list, and a real crime list. The political crimes need to be vetted as do property crimes which should be replaced with restitution orders. A crime is a crime, it really doesn't matter if it is a gun a knife or baseball bat. Personally I would be more concerned with a baseball bat. The law was stupid. -
Canadian Federal Party Leaders Debates
nerve replied to Big Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The leader debates are just are just a medium of repoire building. I consider them artificial. I don't like fake people. These things just show more why the PMS office and other ministers must be limited in executive exercise. We don't need partisan exercise of public powers. That is up to the networks but the debates should count as third party advertising to parties that do participate. It is a waste of time to watch them. People need to do their research and engage politicians before and after. It is by contacting them that you will find out if they are people of character or elitist con artists. There are far more cons than real people in politics. -
Why though? How many attacks have happened since, is owning a car or gun grounds for monitoring after c51? Why even require reason rather than suspicion to torture someone, destroy their life, and defame them? I think the issue is that it does jack shet to prevent what happened. You might as well just make a law requiring muslims to wear an armband. Let's see if I can find other recommendations. Here is one from wikipedia http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_badge http://remember.org/guide/Facts.root.solution.html Let us now infuse that with organized gang stalking. Step 4 a decree euphemistically called, "For the Protection of the People and State," suspending all of the basic rights of citizens and imposing the death sentence for arson, sabotage, resistance to the decree, and disturbances to public order.Arrests could be made on suspicion, and people could be sentenced to prison without trial or the right of counsel. Personally, the problem is with secret courts detainments and arrests, how will Canadians know what is going on? And why wasn't the security certificate system enough? 1. They are already monitoring and running and manipulating online terror sources. The us dragnets everything. Terror busts have been by tips from the us. The law is to plug Canadian Intel into us networks. People flagged by nets such as prism will become targets for "organized group stalking" aka coinintelpro KGB ish. This is based on ability to conduct an attack not the intent to. Also political basis ala fusion centre indexing. This makes Canada a fussion center.... That is c51. It is an extension of the us mass surveillance and interdiction systems. Fusion Canada https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&ei=ZNoNVe-hL8uYyAS0pYKIBg&url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fusion_center&ved=0CB8QFjAA&usg=AFQjCNGE9CgVwAPGvTLhyr5kn9wYQGR2Cg&sig2=BKD6m3DheUq1nLua4rxM8g http://www.dhs.gov/national-network-fusion-centers-fact-sheet Key term Information Sharing Environment (ISE) http://www.ise.gov Key concept suspicious, non normative = threat, = detainment

What I find funny it was the brown people that got me to refer to them as brown because that is how they referred to themselves. Out of Africa with small amounts of neanderthal, and denisovian genes is where we are at these days in terms of race. Oddly first nations people have more Neanderthal genes than Europeans. This is really an argument about national socialism not race. you know people that come from canada, circa PR WWII, not counting first nations. It is all a hogwash argument though, but valid cultural politics. This is all about shutting down immigration of non Northern Europeans. It is about regionalism not race. It is Xenophobia but not really aimed at race. fact is though brown people like air conditioning. End of day though there is no skin colour box on job applications. Just an argument on cultural grounds. The whole a flock is better than a bird in politics. His many neonazis are in his riding?

Many questions, I will try to respond.1. Busted for Training in military arts, and engaging in political and religious teachings. What about sex in Albania where age of consent is only 14? Pedro in Canada not albania, austria, argentina, Brazil, Brunei, bulgaria Burkino FASA is 13... Chile 12....Columbia 12 mexico 12? Point is legal age of consent varies Pedro here, not rape there. Yes there should be a global citizenship for the stateless where human rights are upheld. People should be able to escape national socialism. Sat phones are about 1 dollar a minute People should have human rights upheld like mobility rights and right to employment, and inclusion. the base of all nations laws should be inclusive of international human rights and all peoples in those territories should have those benefits.

Its not the cost scada isn't secure, tech gets hacked.A few dollars a sensor ain't expensive. smartphones cost 10's of dollars to produce. tech will be built right into stoplights by the stoplight companies or partners. Then the power goes out and the world shuts down. DARPA can already hack cars computers to control them remotely. http://jalopnik.com/darpa-hacks-gms-onstar-to-remote-control-a-chevrolet-i-1684593523 DARPA ain't the only one. -
Slow Clap BC. The Left Lane is for PASSING!
nerve replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
It is just a money grab. Speed limits were put in place as an energy saving measure during the energy crisis. There is no longer an energy crisis, safety speeds should exist instead of limits, and be advisory not civil infractions. Totally disgusting socialist totalitarianism. Same thing happened with the invention of income tax to pay war debt from WWI, then it was used to build larger and larger beaurocracies to manage red tape to make privileged and unpriveleged people in a slave society. -
OPPA - Corruption, fraud, money laundering
nerve replied to GostHacked's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I don't see this as a federal issue, more so provincial. It is fiduciary responsibility and the requirement to disclose conflicts of interest and abstain from voting on matters where conflict exists. There is a requirement to keep minutes, either they disclosed and abstained or didn't. -
Same stuff, if I break the law in a foreign country it is that country's law that should apply. It is effectively double jeopardy. Meanwhile committing legal acts in a foreign country should not make me liable to criminal prosecution if my act did not extend into Canadian jurisdiction. Further the premise that free peoples bodies can be controlled by a foreign state or have bodily jurisdiction is also rubbish. It is simply political persecution. ICJ may be suitable, but no matter how much your political views oppose those of a foreign state trying people for lawful conduct because they have your citizenship is false especially when people arnt able to have their denunciation of Canadian citizenship recognized because the citizenship act does not allow unilateral denunciation it only allows transfer to recognized partner countries. It is none of Canada's business what people do in foreign jurisdictions. That is contrary to the UN Charter basis of keeping your nose out of the affairs of other states. It is political persecution. Passing info to the foreign state would be doable but criminalizing people for lawful conduct is disgusting.
-
Let's face it the Canadian government wants a monopoly on use of force it is that simple. Where it becomes problematic is applying the Canadian criminal code in foreign jurisdictions, that is the problem, and extra judicial human rights violations on suspicion without trial.
-
False statement, Isis has not killed Canadians, Canadians joined Isis and died. The forces members who died were killed by the Kurds.Get your facts straight. Presenting lies doesn't do your position justice.

No. You are wrong.People want to work if they have a fair wage. Creating poverty to make people work is a scumbags position. People want a better life than just out of poverty

Quebec Man Arrested For Withholding Phone Password

That is definitely how it appears but people do it. That is travel without their lawfully issued passport.I don't recommend this but note provincial drivers license as a screening option in place of a passport for flying in the us http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/acceptable-ids Acceptable IDs for screening purposes include: U.S. passport U.S. passport card DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST) U.S. military ID (active duty or retired military and their dependents, and DoD civilians) Permanent resident card Border crossing card DHS-designated enhanced driver's license Driver's licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent) for the sole purpose of identification Federally recognized, tribal-issued photo ID HSPD-12 PIV card Airline or airport-issued ID (if issued under a TSA-approved security plan) Foreign government-issued passport Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card Transportation Worker Identification Credential I also need to add that it isn't the passport req for boarding but a "travel document" that is not only a passport Here is the basics in Canada http://www.ppt.gc.ca/pptc/documents.aspx?lang=eng There are others. If it ain't normal expect a headache and probeache. -

I don't care to go in depth on this as I hope to god no good person needs to travel internationally without a passport. The individual holder has duty control and responsibility. It is their property as it is issued, however they are also acting as an agent of the gov. Under statute. I bet your name is on it too. Just cause something says it doesnt make it. The government claim is the same to your house, car etc... As long as you don't break the rules on ownership it is yours. Under the passport order. Every passport © shall at all times remain the property of Her Majesty in right of Canada; Bear in mind this does not exclude bilateral property rights and allowances. Joint property ownership is primate facie if certain conditions exist. Claim is not a sole right. It does not say the sole property. Common property" is ownership by more than one person of the same possession
