Jacee, you agreed with what happened in Caledonia. Why was that ok? You want to have the legal right to burn police cars and damage people's life work, but damn, walk down a public funded road in Ontario? How dare they!!! What a crock of hypocritical blather. With you lot, it's ok when the Libs are doing it. And this isn't conjecture of what they MAY do, but of what they have done. You believe Harper's version can be any worse than this? I highly doubt it.

A lot of what you are saying is opinion. The rest has no reference or link. Predatory Science Journals have exploded. We do have to take peer review with a grain of salt unfortunately. That being said, the overwhelming majority of scientists say glyphosate is safe. Remember the dose adage. And no, it's not meant as a cool refreshing beverage. https://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/glyphosate-the-new-bogeyman/ http://www.biofortified.org/2013/10/glyphosate-toxic/

Yeah, let's argue semantics. Much more important than saving millions of lives. Refer to avi.

I like the site, and he supplies legit sources. As I said in the post, if you don't like those, there are plenty more. If you looked, you would find peer reviewed studies supporting this.

I got hit with off target thread jacking for referencing warrant less entry allowedby the Liberals by untrained, well, anybody. This is the type of concern many of the ppl on this thread are concerned about, so it is totally relevant to this discussion. Charles Anthony allows the incredible crap posted by many, but warns an on topic post I call BS. Talk about censorship.

You can keep repeating your mantra, caps locks and all, it still means nothing. I never heard Moore say "hey, I want to be challenged to drink a cup of this". He was there to save lives. I would think you, of all the ppl I've read on this site, would be supporting that. They literally have a food to stop kids from going blind, and saving pregnant woman's lives. Sappy music? Really, cue it. I'm for helping the poorest people, the people who can't afford vegetables and fresh food. Are you kidding me with cue the music? Nice social responsibility on you. Shamefull.

GMO scientists? Who are we talking about here? What?
-
Jacee, please. vodka is rated in a higher, more likely to cause cancer category. Monsanto did not make the claim. What Moore said was not meant literally. It's like me saying that drum solo blew me away. You are taking this out of context because you have no scientific proof to back your prejudices against Monsanto. It seems ok that you want to vilify a man for wanting to feed millions of starving people and stop kids from going blind due to your own ignorant agenda. Sad, really.

Amnesty International asks Israel 4 questions:
drummindiver replied to marcus's topic in The Rest of the World
Right. Highlight and bold. During the 50 days of hostilities referred to in Israel as Operation Protective Edge, between 8 July and 26 August 2014, Palestinian armed groups fired thousands of unguided rockets and mortars towards Israel, in many cases directing them towards Israeli civilians and civilian objects, in violation of international law. The conduct of Palestinian armed groups, including firing from residential areas and the use of indiscriminate munitions that cannot be accurately directed at a military target, also endangered civilians in the Gaza Strip. In one case, the available evidence indicates that a rocket fired by a Palestinian armed group on 28 July 2014 killed 11 children and two adults in the al-Shati refugee camp, north-west of Gaza City. This report details four cases investigated by Amnesty International in which mortar and rocket attacks by Palestinian armed groups resulted in the death of five civilians in southern Israel and injured others. It also analyses the attack on the al-Shati refugee camp on 28 July, and the conduct of Palestinian armed groups within the Gaza Strip in their operations against Israel during the 50-day conflict. The report does not address the summary killings of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by Hamas forces for alleged “collaboration” with Israel during the July/August 2014 conflict, which will be the subject of a forthcoming report.- 193 replies

Wow. I think many others in the area have "agressive Israli policy". And not the sort you are referring to. btw, jacee is so worried about questions from Amnesty. Here's Amnesty's recent take. .https://www.amnesty.org/en/articles/news/2015/03/palestinian-armed-groups-killed-civilians-on-both-sides-in-2014-gaza-conflict/- 193 replies

lol. Couldn't agree more with your assessment Drinking dishwashing detergent or shampoo out of the container, for example, is not advised, because these chemical products contain surfactants that should not be intentionally consumed, yet low levels of dishwashing detergent and shampoo residues are consumed daily off of cups, plates and utensils and during showering, without adverse health effects. And rightfully so, people are not concerned about use or consumption of trace amounts of detergents. The same is true for herbicides. Roundup-brand products also contain surfactants like those found in dishwashing detergents and shampoos and, like these consumer products, should not be intentionally consumed. However, low levels of these surfactants and the active ingredient in Roundup-brand products (glyphosate), which gives it its weed-killing power, ingested from the food we eat are well below what has been determined acceptable for daily human consumption.

If you did any research at all, you would know this is utter rubbish. If you don't like these, there is oodles more. .https://skeptoid.com/blog/2013/05/04/roundup-and-gut-bacteria/ http://geneticliteracyproject.org/2015/01/10-studies-proving-gmos-are-harmful-not-if-science-matters/

Patrick Moore was there to be interviewed regarding Golden Rice, and the fact that it would save 2 million children dying and another 500,000 going blind due to Vitamin A deficiency. He has never worked for Monsanto, which has nothing to do with GR. I don't believe milk is toxic, and I wouldn't drink a quart of it either. edited gallon to quart. my bad

Still the same ill informed hooligan apologist I see. Still on with the comprehension bullshit because you have nothing more intelligent to add...as usual. -
Canada's War on Terror and the Freedom to Radicalize
drummindiver replied to eyeball's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yes, and the Black Bloc epitamized restraint and, you guessed it, faced no consequences. I'd love to see all you lefties who slag everything about what happened at the G20 stand up to that illegal bunch of hooligans who burned cars and trashed ppl's livelihoods. I have never once heard any discord with the lawlessness that prevailed that day. -

You clearly can differentiate between peaceful political protest, and violent political protest. Attacking police cars with police men inside is not political protest. Many of you choose to not even call it criminal, yet constantly refer to what the police may or may not have done (talking G-20, not Montebello). Did they act as provocateurs? I don't know. I do know many crimes are solved by policemen acting undercover. I -

Fair, but I was referencing G-20. My bad for not clearly stating. -

I looked for evidence of this. All I could personally find was a video of ppl wearing the same boots, therefore they must be police. I guess all skin heads in their Doc Martins must be cops also. -

Nope. These ppl are terrorists. Murder is not the only criteria for terrorism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A1wTE3OzTE I'm all for lawful assembly and voicing dissent. This, though, is not that. -

Many did commit illegal acts-many of them. People using Blac Block tactics ARE terrorists. http://www.ipsos-na.com/news-polls/pressrelease.aspx?id=4858 http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/g20/2010/06/26/violent_black_bloc_tactics_on_display_at_g20_protest.html
