-1, I agree with most of what you wrote. I'm not sure if your stance on Allahu Akbar is neutral. "The origin of Allah Akbar, which does not appear in the Koran, comes from the Hadith, during Mohammed’s genocide of the Jews. “So, when the day dawned, the Jews came out with their bags and spades. When they saw the Prophet; they said, “Muhammad and his army!” The Prophet said, Allahu–Akbar! (Allah is Greater) and Khaibar is ruined, for whenever we approach a nation (i.e. enemy to fight) then it will be a miserable morning for those who have been warned.” Sahih Bukhari 4:52:195 Khaybar, Khaybar Ya Yahud Jash Muhammad Saya’ud, Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, Mohammed’s Army Will Return is still used as an anti-Semitic battle cry by Muslims today. Like it, Allahu Akbar has clear hostile religious overtones. It’s used to denote the religious supremacism that is the fundamental mission of Islam."

The problem with the peaceful teachings of Islam is abrogation. Muhammad stated Allah can do as he will, as he is Allah. Therefore, later writings supersede earlier writings, and you guessed it, the later writings are the ones that many point to when citing Islam's hurtful side ( when justifying hurtful actions). It's obvious that people of all religions have hijacked certain tenets of their chosen (indoctrinated usually) religion for personal or political agendas. Religion (and not just Islam) are still culpable though IMO.

Are you being deliberately obtuse or ignorantly disingenous? http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/08/11/theresa-spence-controversial-chief-of-attawapiskat-first-nation-earned-82000-tax-free-in-2013/ Am I supposed to take an ed-op piece from "Comrade" Dru Oja Jay as being a guiding light to my misunderstanding of Canada? A board member wannabe at Rabble.ca, where they extort the virtues of Black bloc tactics, and no protester left behind (ie fight the police). Again, are you serious? Natives are making out like bandits in Canada, from casinos to smoke shops to a percentage of billions of dollars of mining rights. http://www.nlc.org.au/articles/info/the-mining-industry-and-the-nlc/

"Treaties were not always negotiated fairly." Says who? You? What do you classify as fair? Do natives own all of Canada? If so, why? Because they pitched a teepee and did some hunting? If not, why not? If they own the land, we should all pick up and head back to where our ancestors came from. How do you own the land where you live? If a native (your family member) came in and said that it was their land, would you just give it to them? No? Why should the other ppl then have to? Why should we pay 9 fn billion dollars a year in tax dollars to Natives?

I am sick of being held hostage by events that happened a hundred years ago. In excess of 9 billion dollars a year are thrown at natives. 900 grand a year for the chief of a tribe with 16 members. Are you kidding me? Harper doesn't get that. Nobody gets that. And then the disruption of ppl trying to make a living, breaking the law with impunity. I'm absolutely sick of it, and sick of ppl defending it. If I broke the law I go to jail, but the, how do I put this nicely, blind here believe natives are above the law. Incredible. One law-one ppl Anything else is discrimination. Distinct societies are a joke, especially when I'm helping to foot the bill. btw, what's up with the native claim of "we don't own the land-it belongs to Mother Earth".

Hey Michael. What is the point of your post? Abe was a racist, you admit that. Many sites credit him with this quote. I know how left leaning you are, proven by your biased "moderating" skills, so I realize anything I say will offend you. So what is your point? You thought I was Canadian because I misquoted Lincoln? Sorry. Many other ppl believe this quote his. They must be Canadians also? And by this comment are you insinuating that being a Canadian is a bad thing?. Or are you trying to discriminate against me for being a Canadian who misquoted something? Seriously, what is your point? http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/top-5-racist-quotes-by-abraham-lincoln.203268709/ http://www.econjobrumors.com/topic/reminder-abe-lincoln-founder-of-republican-party-was-a-racist http://www.mcfloogle.com/2014/06/12/they-didnt-teach-this-lincoln-edition/ So, sorry if because of a plethora of contradicting evidence I misquoted Abe "The Racist" Lincoln. Thanks for edifying. As usual you are a lighthouse in my veritable darkness.

A scumbag? You mean like Mahatma Gandhi, a blatant racist (proven) or pedophile (jury still out). Churchill was also a drunken racist.-proven. How about Martin Luther King, who had loads of extra marital affairs. He spent the last night of his life with a woman that wasn't his wife. Abe Lincoln must have been a scumbag also. "Our republican system was meant for a homogeneous people. As long as blacks continue to live with the whites they constitute a threat to the national life. Family life may also collapse and the increase of mixed breed bastards may some day challenge the supremacy of the white man." He drank. As James Crumley famously said “Son, never trust a man who doesn’t drink because he’s probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They’re the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They’re usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they’re a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can’t trust a man who’s afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It’s damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he’s heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl.”

"Harper has the record fr prorogation and for contempt, and for closure. So according to him we all, and you, should just shut up." You did not quote any "facts". I absolutely got the nuance of your post. You do know what facts are? No. I know you love to go on about how the Harper government was found in contempt. I love to go on about the fact that they were voted in by a majority after that.

"There were also some oddities in Pew’s results, however. Its respondents are somewhat more likely to be smokers, more likely to be on food stamps, and—perhaps surprisingly—more likely to be Internet users." Slate online. People-myself included-state poll numbers as if they were definitive. They are not. http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2012/05/survey_bias_how_can_we_trust_opinion_polls_when_so_few_people_respond_.html -

lol. The list of Conservative issues pales, and I mean absolutely pales against what the provincial and federal Liberals, have done especially here in Ontario. If that's the worst you have, you have nothing. A couple of their points and counterpoints. http://www.thestar.com/opinion/2009/12/24/bev_oda_cut_off_kairos_funding.html# http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/04/03/tories-shutter-troubled-rights-and-democracy-agency/ Provincial. . http://bcndpcaucus.ca/news/ndp-votes-against-liberals-latest-election-gag-law/ http://www.david-kilgour.com/2009/Feb_20_2009_01.php Give it up about him proroguing parliament. Everyone does it, at provincial and federal levels. Chretien did it four times, and for the longest period. http://www.ndp.ca/news/reality-check-prorogation-1984 http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ontario-s-mcguinty-surprises-with-resignation-prorogation-1.1156014 I'm not even going to go into the plethora of BILLION dollar scandals, let alone multi million dollar scandals the Libs provincially and federally have been embroiled in.

lol. As you are the "moderator", what passes as a "mainstream source" for you. Do we now have to have our sources vetted for your and Jacee's approval? http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/toronto-18-jury-shown-training-camp-video-1.973854 http://canadafreepress.com/2007/cover061107h.htm http://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/cnt/rsrcs/pblctns/2014-pblc-rpr-trrrst-thrt/index-eng.aspx#a10 http://www.clarionproject.org/document/fbi-document-jamaat-ul-fuqra-moa-texas-enclave http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/toronto-18-member-ali-mohamed-dirie-reportedly-died-in-syria-1.1868119 http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/al-qaeda-switching-tactics-csis-warns/article4102081/ http://1389blog.com/2013/02/22/muslims-of-america-suing-martin-mawyer-for-exposing-islamic-terror-camps-in-the-us/ http://almanac.afpc.org/Canada -

Um, what don't you understand when I said I shouldn't have posted that vid from him, then posted other links? I'll be honest, I didn't realize it was from him, and when Michael brought that to my attention I apologized, and posted other links. Just because Mawyer agrees does not make facts any less factual. -

What??? In what society is that considered freedom of anything? I don't agree with anybody's religion, but love the fact they can practice it if they aren't forcing their beliefs on anybody-read Sharia for instance. There is obviously something wrong with religion if disagreeing with it will get you killed. Jesus.
