Argus said: "Too many people on this site now only know how to sneer, mock and ridicule the people who disagree with them, as opposed to focusing on the subject under discussion. That's particularly so on the Left side of the political spectrum, perhaps due to the sympathies the moderators have with their ideological views." BC_Chick said: "Really, Argus. And who are these fellow right-wingers who are the great debaters on the site? You, and let's see.... Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Oh and maybe smallc, but he claims to be not conservative so I'm not sure if he can be counted." The topic is the board itself? Really? Argus commented on the snarkiness. You replied with, what I assumed (?) to be snarkiness. To claim there is no debate and the board is the topic on the thread "Moderating Mapleafweb's Moderation" seems, to quote JT, nonsensical.

So, you question Argus' post, then follow it up with a post detailing his exact point?

Micheal Hardner claims I cried to mods and was racist. Gave me warning for calling him bigoted towards those on the right. Hypocrite much Mike?

Black Dog, again with the lies? I never cried to the mods..sorry, not my deal. I find it very odd that muslims been trying to instill terror, and when this happens, It's bigoted and racist to be afraid. -

The relevance is obvious. You cannot answer a simple yes or no question because it would negate your knee jerk argument. The answer, to the question, is yeeees. -

Yes, clearly, just young Palestinians. That statement is richer than the chocolate the 15 yo Belgian girl was on when she beheaded her mother. A little known Canadian has been defended forever on this site due to the fact HE WAS INDOCTRINATED INTO RADICAL ISLAM. Clearly, though, only happens in Palestine. -

Black Dog..what?? I've never made a bomb, but I imagine it is what a bomb's detonating device would look like....whether made by a white, brown, red or purple person. I also posted a cite (of which there are many) indicating young ppl are being indoctrinated into radical islam. Is that a lie? Honest answer now? Are young ppl being indoctrinated into radical islam, yes or no? For that, I have been called rascist, bigot, MH is calling me down for being that. YOu want to vilify people for wanting to keep a large number of kids safe? -
Hey Michael, go ahead, I give you permission to post anything i have ever written along those lines. Oh, you don't have any? Yeah, I wrote CA and bitched about the fact the two of you allow certain cc type ppl free reign, as you are in lock step with him ideologically. Don't be so passive aggressive, clearly you are talking about certain ppl, as you clearly referred to ideologies. Don't be a coward man...speak up. Who you talkiin bout?

I saw Black Dogs pic of the "clock" I looked up home made bombs, and there were many there that looked less a bomb than this clock. I doubt Israeli bomb techs would know from looking that the "clock" was not an explosive devise. You call it racial profiling, I call it putting ppls safety first. -

Again, CC, you are filling in blanks to fill your agenda Clearly, as with your defending Female Genital Mutilation, the depths of your depravity knows no bounds. You cannot debate without calling bigot, racist etc, and you cannot admit that muslims have some stigma, some due to their own actions. Tell me to shove it, shut the f*** up, and piss off? Class act boyo. -

Hey, CC. You have serious issues. I think along with HDS, you suffer from some other delusional conundrums. Please, if you can, find where I said ANYTHING along the lines of what you are accusing me of. -

Cybercoma wrote: "shut the fuck up or back up your libel Clearly, those of a particular political leaning are allowed to tell people to shut the fuck up if they don't agree with them. No sense reporting, as the moderator CA is in lock step with him. I did not say this particular individual was indoctrinated, if you knew how to read through your liberal bias What I did say, with cite, is that many young muslims are indoctrinated to be martyrs. Again, if you choose to deny this sad truth of the world we live in, you are a denier and an enabler. No surprise there. Further, Black Dog is given free reign to alter anybody's post he deems he disagrees with. Again, moderator is in lock step, so all good. Oh, and look, one post above me he is personally attacking someone. Good for you and your clearly liberal tendencies towards inclusion and acceptance. -

CC, clearly white Christian children aren't being indoctrinated into becoming martyrs, whilst Muslim children are. Sorry if that offends your liberal sensibilities, but such is the reality of our world. As to your further point, if a white Christian kid went to school with a fake gun, it would be criminally negligent not to treat it as a possible threat. http://palwatch.org/main.aspx?fi=846 -

What is your argument? Nothing should be done if someone brings in a device that looks like a bomb? If someone robs a bank with a toy gun, is it still armed robbery? Odd, really, they don't show a pic of the actual device, yet show a clearly condescending pic of a man holding a clock. You know, if Muslims didn't bomb people so often, maybe people wouldn't jump to conclusions. -
Big Guy, you are on here glorifying Iran. Do you not see how some may see this in the same way? Iran stated..again...no Israel. I agree, however, we should be given latitude to debate, but CA seems to be in a pissy, give points for anything mood these days. (to be clear, CA, yours is a thankless difficult job that I would not want)

I believe a few posters post (what I believe to be) anti semetic, bigoted rhetoric and hate comments. I believe these to be nothing but hate mongering. I have located a number of websites and discovered a whole religion who states one of their ideological tenets is the destruction of same. There are also many governments and organizations who claim the same. I also understand this is your website. Why not let the reader decide?

The manifesto's opening salvo: "We could live in a country powered entirely by truly just renewable energy, woven together by accessible public transit, in which the jobs and opportunities of this transition are designed to systematically eliminate racial and gender inequality. Caring for one another and caring for the planet could be the economy’s fastest growing sectors. Many more people could have higher wage jobs with fewer work hours, leaving us ample time to enjoy our loved ones and flourish in our communities." The reality is, won't happen Ontario tried. Guess what? Not sustainable, incredibly expensive, and very, very few permanent good paying jobs. And let's not forget Naomi Klein wants to "tear up, the free market play book. And we need to do it yesterday" "82% of wind generator subsidies goes to foreign, out of province, or multi national companies" http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/ontario-cuts-back-on-green-energy-deal/article12718627/ http://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/labour-war-green-energy-and-foreign-workers/ http://probeinternational.org/library/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/corporate-welfare-ontario-goes-green.pdf

I revcieved a warning point for bringing this up before, but I still say it's relevant. PPl on this board are so damned concerned about the ConsERVATIVES bringing in C -51 which allows trained federal agents to enter your home with a warrant, yet don't care the Liberals passed laws over ten years ago allowing untrained, basically anyone (dog catcher, spca worker, milkman) to enter your home WIHOUT A WARRANT!!! Where is the (justified) outrage over this??? Oh yeah, the Libs did it, it's for our own good. FMINF -

Um, I have read it, thanks. Are you worried seven days of detention will equate to seven days of protracted and aggressive interrogation? Hardly the Canadian way in 2015, but I guess you never know...though I hardly doubt it. Are you worried that there will be false positives, innocent people wrongly placed into custody? Happens now all the time. Let's just abolish the police and the court system so we don't have any of that. Happy? Must be your concern that prohibitions on speech that promotes or glorifies terrorism would provide sweeping powers to police and prosecutors. Um, I've heard the arguments. Don't believe them. Difference between protesting and promoting terrorism. And I like that CSIS has expanded powers. Hell, if dog catchers can come into my home in Ontario without a warrant, I think federally trained agents should be able to do the same with a warrant.
