Ummm, not in line and cancellation fees?!?! What's wrong with that picture? -
Exactly! All the same color, all the same histories, all the same languages, everything the same throughout ALL the Americas... Or not? BUT, are they all "American" (north, south, central) yes? Are Hosni Mubarak and Nelson Mandela both "African" yes?

Bill, I'm well aware of that site and many other sites such as that that I would use in researching BOTH a fiction or non fiction book... A site like that though would have little or no influence on a book regarding anything beyond it's specific scope such as interplanetary or beyond travel...
-
I have no quarrel with your post but in the interest of clarity one must remember that there are (currently) 52 separate countries in Africa somewhat demographically divided into north/south - east/west quadrants... Comparisons between these quadrants, at a minimum, is very difficult to make or understand via the singular term "Africa"...

What kind of orbit are we talking about for this planet, eliptical, circular? How is the density calculated and is that density before or after an atmosphere or lack thereof is calculated in? What is the intersecting proximity at any given time to any other planets, moons, etc.? Need I go on and on? These planets have NOT been "seen", they have been calculated as being the cause of an effect on a "star" BELIEVED to have "earth sized" planets orbiting said star... Good luck with that calculation... I write both fiction and non fiction and I can tell you writing non fiction is a lot more difficult to do well than writing fiction...

In the year 2011 the combined power of all the computing power available on earth could not even make the calculation to find/reach/orbit any of the planets that are mention in the heading of this thread... No orbit patern can be decerned, no density, nothing, only the possibility of what is throwing a certain sized shadow against the backdrop of a distant star, maybe...

With pretty much every post you've made... I tried to correct you earlier but you aren't interested in FACTS it seems, as many here have been pointing out to you... I gave you the points of reference to differentiate Communism - Socialism - Fascism - http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=17890&view=findpost&p=622184 - via the links there, but you seem to want to ignore them, so the only conclusion possible from your posts is that you favour Fascism as being closest to what you are advocating... Small government and low taxes? Little to no social program drain on the government? More power to the corporate interests or corporate control over government and the population and rich getting richer with little regard for the welfare of the general population via safety nets etc.? A strictly "market driven" economy? The ultimate system to achieve those goals is Fascism...

Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, you may want to check them out... Brazil is a good one to check out too, a little closer to home... I can't find any greatly "successful" countries, past or present, that employ the fascist system you advocate, so perhaps you can enlighten me with some examples... Thank you...

Common Bonam, be realistic here, probes and telescopes have great limitations when it comes to analysing a planet that can't be "seen" but only speculated about by advanced mathematics... Even the ones we can "see" in our own solar system, the moon, and Mars, which we have "touched" via probes and telescopes, what do we really know about them? We don't even know "everything" about Earth, with hundreds of new lifeforms constantly being discovered... Someday in the distant future, if mankind somehow manages to survive long enough, perhaps, but it's a very, very long TIME away...

Hmmm, I'll have to ponder that, I'll have to defer to your assessment of the situation...

I only give back what I get... I am aware, and as you say correctly, I don't particularily care... Since I don't know the people on here very well yet, and the people on here don't know anything about me other than what I tell them, when I'm attacked, I fight back, and I'm very good at getting out my message... Any civil post to me will ALWAYS get a civil response... As you are getting from me now... Thank you for your concern... -
Your posts have been duely forwarded to "the" Police... I'm sure they'll find an appropriate spot to post them... JR's Pic is already "pined" to the center of my dart board... Giles did ok until he got hurt too, but hey, shit happens they say... As for the upcoming season, we'll see, a little OVER confidence by the pussy cats may be a good thing... You guys figure out yet if you'll have a place to play? Winning games because you had to forfit would be TOO easy... Hope Kevin still has some confidence left after he bombed out in Montreal last fall... And don't forget to tell him Brown says "HI"... Always remember my friend, money can't buy you happiness...

No, it means what it said.. You bore me... Got an inferiority complex or are you that stupid? -
If only that were true... What you'll "take" is what people like me have worked hard to provide for useless un-Canadian turds like you... Enjoy it, because of people like you it may not always be there for you to enjoy...

Hey, you want to stay ignorant, no skin off my false teeth... Enjoy your bliss...

Good point... Billionaires In Space Burt Rutan and Richard Branson Want You to Hit Space in High Style http://www.wired.com/science/space/magazine/15-06/ff_space_virgin You'd Look Sweet Upon the Seat of a Spaceship Built for Two http://www.wired.com/science/space/news/2008/03/xcor Some interesting reading... However, I'm afraid you're still in the embrio stage rather than the steping onto extraterrestrial soil stage which is some considerable TIME away (if ever) for humanity... One has to first get ones WHOLE HOUSE (Earth) in order, which I see little evidence of happening, before mankind can foray into the unknown... “Space...the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise, its five-year mission ....to explore strange new worlds ...to seek out new life and new civilizations ...to boldly go where no man has gone before.” — Gene Roddenberry (August 10, 1966)

Whatever... Who cares... I don't... -
You are WRONG and this is my last post on the matter so read it and get educated... Manitoba Hydro - Manitoba has 2 key advantages in exporting electricity: 1.Our province's rivers provide a vast, renewable source of clean energy. 2.The seasonal demand for electricity in the U.S., our largest market, is opposite to our own. (U.S. demand peaks in summer, while Manitoba demand peaks in winter.) Our export electricity sales are made as either: •Long-term contracts that provide a firm supply of electricity at a negotiated, fixed price that will not fluctuate due to market conditions. •Opportunity sales, which are made from short-term surpluses of electricity — usually because of good water conditions. Since the amount of energy available for these sales can change in relatively short periods of time, it cannot be sold as firm or guaranteed energy. Prices in the short-term export market fluctuate and, therefore, our revenues can vary extensively depending on: ◦time of day; ◦water conditions; ◦natural gas prices; ◦other factors. Even when market prices are low, we may pursue opportunity sales because of high water conditions and our low costs associated with generating that additional electricity. The alternative would be to spill the water at our generating stations and forego making any revenue at all. - There's no "storing" water, you should know better... NOTHING happens on any "daily basis", night or day basis, and you are being silly about it... Read the whole link and be very glad you're not paying EXPENSIVE (not cheap as you said) US RATES for your Electricity needs...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news BUT: Buck's fine, hasn't had one in over a year you know... Shoulder and leg are fine too... If he stays that way your "pussy cats" are in trouble... Bauman ain't here and if he's greedy he won't be, we've got 3 others as good - maybe better we're looking at along with him... But family ties matter, so we'll see, I'm betting Edmonton will get him though... Aren't you too old to be playing with "stuffed" Toys? Better take cover in a few months, some "BIG BLUE" things are gonna start falling on you then... Almost forgot, Brown's coming back and he's anxious to say "HI" to that ex-Bomber Quarterback we gave you... What's his name again? You know, the one our other ex-Quarterback, Jones, is trying to make into a player... Gotta admit though, if I had any say, Khari would be our OC now... He's a GREAT guy and his Ms. is fantastic, you lucked out getting that family there, all of Winnipeg misses them... Can't figure why he's stayed in Smogsville though...
