  1. Waldo, the Trudeau can admit when he's wrong....its 2016...from the Speaker of the House: When the (Liberal) Speaker of the House reminds the Government Whip and Prime Minister of proper procedure where is the fantasy? I've now provided two differing citations, one of historic nature and one quoted directly after the the Prime Minister's first disjointed apology.......
  2. I didn't state he was or wasn't protesting, likewise those members of the NDP. My point, yet again, was that regardless if he were, if the Government Whip simply took his seat the vote would have begun absent the Opposition Whip.
  3. Then why is it being sent to the Procedure and House affairs committee? Odd move if "it's over"........
  4. I didn't provide a dictionary definition, but that which is found in the criminal code.
  5. No, it makes perfect sense, and was confirmed today by the Speaker of the House..........
  6. Not at all, I'm saying this dumpster fire for the Government could have been avoided if the government Whip simply took his seat (as confirmed by the Speaker today)........if Trudeau felt the need to get handsy, he should have seated Leslie.
  7. I've been saying it for months, both their economic/trade policies aren't that far apart, likewise their leveraging of populism and social policy (where Trump fits into the same box as many progressives).........I admit, I'm floored that a member of the GOP "establishment" didn't win their race.........and absent the Democrats gerrymandering with Super Delegates that give Clinton such a big lead, Sanders would be giving Clinton a run for her money and could have pulled off a win........ This of course is why I'm not surprised to see the polls indicating with a Clinton win, upwards of of 1/3rd of Sanders supporters will go Trump........even several weeks ago I was convinced Clinton would wipe the floor with Trump, helped by moderate Republicans not voting or voting Clinton, but with the several additional polls showing Trump tied or leading Clinton, I'd need a Trump size dose of hubris to proclaim an eventual Clinton win......
  8. I think his apology is moot......if a civil servant and a member of PSAC repeated the same actions well working in the House of Commons or any other government office, likewise any non-union member of the RCMP or Canadian Forces, from the get go, the victim is encouraged to contact their supervisor and (Military)police immediately. Why should violence and harassment be treated differently when done by elected officials, including the Prime Minister?
  9. Yes violence........if the Waldo went into his favorite watering hole or in his place of work for example, then proceeded to grab and drag a person against their will (well injuring another person), the Waldo could rightfully be charged with assault:
  10. What's the problem? You managed to to read said link, found and quoted a portion......just the wrong portion If that doesn't suffice, I can provide a quote from the current Speaker as confirmation of my point..........and a quashing of the meme that Trudeau was attempting to move the vote along.......as pointed out, if the Liberal Whip had of took his seat, regardless the actions of the Opposition, the vote would of proceeded.........hence the Prime Minister and Government Whip are uninformed as to how the House works, and in the case of the Prime Minister, unable to control his uninformed emotions.
  11. Negative Ghostrider...But nice attempt at Justin-ifying the Prime Minister's outburst.....per procedure , if Government Whip Andrew Leslie had of simply taken his seat, regardless if the opposition Whip was on the dark side of the moon, the Speaker would have put the question to the House and voting would have begun......... Maybe the Liberal Whip and Prime Minister need a do-over of grade school civics.........and anger management for the Prime Minister.
  12. Exactly, he clearly lost his temper and reacted with violence.........if done in nearly any other workplace in this country, Trudeau would be looking at far more stiffer stuff than an apology......in a (Government) union environment, at the very least, he'd be required to take part in an anger management program.
  13. Forget Mulcair and Harper........revisit the various threads on the late Rob Ford.
  14. No reason to hate yourself for having common sense I can square the circle of the elbow being an accident........but said accident wouldn't have happened if he didn't interject himself in such an aggressive manner. I'm gobsmacked that he has such a piss poor control of his temper, regardless of the transgression he felt the NDP guilty of.
  15. Could be, he would come by it naturally. The flying elbow aside, what type of person would think it a good idea to grab and drag another adult against their wishes in such a manner? As mentioned, in near any workplace, such actions would result in consequences. I think his Government's threat to change how the House works is a far more "violent action" and affront to Canadians though.....
  16. Exactly. And in what workplace can you grab and drag a coworker and it not result in serious consequences?
  17. Who did he beat? His wife? I haven't heard that one.
  18. Exactly, Brosseau should be grateful that Dear Leader Trudeau caressed her breast with his elbow
  19. I wonder if she did suffer from bruising if she would press charges? You can see her clearly react to Trudeau's elbowing in the video......
  20. He reverted to his past work experience...
  21. No politicking is right......the Liberal's proposed notice of motion is intended to do exactly that........not too often the Tories and NDP can agree on anything, but rewriting how the House of Commons works, to stifle the Opposition's ability to even debate a bill is most disconcerting......the physical violence is merely part in parcel with such motions throughout history.
  22. I doubt anything official will come of it........and what caused the entire mater has undertones that could see the Opposition hauled off in irons one day.......And most thought Trudeau misspoke when he stated he admired the Chinese dictatorship's ability to "get things done".......I guess that included violence against any political Opposition....
