  1. WWWTT, As the US continues to encourage revenge of freedom fighters by terrorizing people in the ME, the chances just increase that there will be revenge. If that revenge is on any other country other than the US then the US will have accomplished it's goal. When a country is attacked, as happened on 911, the people of that country are not capable of stopping and considering that they had it coming. And when their president stands on the rubble and encourages them with bravado, there's little doubt that the problem is going to be exacerbated. Such could be the fate of Canada and Canadians and very few will look back and consider why it happened. Why would they want to strike against us? Because they are jealous of our bigscreen t.v. sets. It's after the fact for G.B. of course, because they wrongly decided to become a US lap dog. But Dog forbid, the taste of revenge they've had could be a walk in the park compared to what that small island nation could see! Much better idea for Canada to stop now. Quite impossible for us to do so under Harper!
  2. Shady, it's now turned out to be you that's mixing up immigration with illegal immigrants. And we've already agreed on the motives of employers.
  3. Trades training in Canada has been lowered to fit the plan of the employers. That is, hire a kid as an apprentice and have him/her work cheap as an apprentice until such time as he's/she's due to be paid journeyman wages, then get rid of him/her. The secret of this kind of abusive plan working is that even in the more skilled trades such as electrical/instrumentation, there are lots of menial jobs which need to be done that can be done by apprentices with as little as 6 months training on the job. The employer need only keep perhaps 1 in 5 or 6 as journeymen and pay the rest the apprentice rates. Don't be fooled by the greedy dishonest swine who try to tell you differently.
  4. There is absolutely no doubt that the Conservatives' plan is to bring in cheap labour and spread it throughout industry and commerce in order to destroy any bargaining power worker still have. The example of the US is just too attractive to them. With huge income inequality as in the US, comes big profit. It also brings with it an economy that is comparable to Mexico's. Have no doubt, Mexico's people aren't ever going to be able to pull themselves up. I would suggest that it's also too late for the workers of the US. Harper hasn't succeeded in taking Canada there yet but it's in the process.
  5. Shady, if you agree with me then I take back my comment of you having 'other motives'.
  6. What are you trying to say Shady? Explain how that's supposed to make any sense? There is no confusion between illegal immigration and immigration. One is bringing people in to work in a labour market at a decent wage that is mandated by law. Or at least passes as just barely decent. the other is keeping immigrants illegal so they can be employed for a buck or two a day and include their children in the labour so they can scrape by. It's the most evil of crimes to continue to perpetuate it for profit. As I said, only evil swine would support that! Not referring to you as the evil swine of course. You have other motives.
  7. Nothing needs to be explained jacee, the US immigration problem won't be solved because business wants cheap labour and child labour. So maintain the status quo of illegals that they rely upon because so many of their businesses aren't viable anymore with paying even the minimum wage. As if the ignorant swine who support it don't understand completely!
  8. You can't rewrite history b_c. If Saddam screwed up it was with US assistance.
  9. No b_c, the Zionists got away with crimes that no other country could get away with and it was because they did such a great job of drumming up sympathy for what happened to Jews during WW2. And in fact, that still plays a big part. It's often voiced by Americans if they are dumb enough to continue to bring it up. It's a dead giveaway of phony justification for crimes against Palestinians. Phony justification in that one crime has nothing to do with the other.
  10. The giveaway was when the US started embedding journalists and taking other measures to keep their atrocities under cover. And why? Why did the US military get to the point at which they were gleefully murdering Iraq's people when Iraq was completely guilt free of any connection with 9/11?
  11. And what do you think constitutes matter shady?
  12. Check your grammar before you post ASIP. If English is your second language you're not doing too bad but some of it is impossible to understand.
  13. b_c, yet another example of revenge against the Zionist apartheid regime. But maybe it's because they're all jealous of the Zionists' big screen t.v. sets? Ya think? Anything else come to mind? In fairness to your bringing that up, that's before the world started to react to the facts of what the Zionists were doing. It's probably also safe to say that it was an over-reaction to the terrorism of the Zionists, and also a poorly thought out reaction. It wasn't fighting fire with fire so to speak. Now any and all revenge against Zionist terrorism should be seen by the world as fair turnabout. It's revenge in kind. And I think that most of the world already understands that and stands with the Palestinian people against that terrorism. Europe certainly seems to be voicing it of late. The answer: Not more terrorism, just stopping it now before the revenge is in the form of a mushroom cloud.
  14. Thanks Topaz and WWWTT for the encouragement, and it looks like my idea isn't a foreign one to Canadians. In my opinion Harper is a US lap dog and a traitor to all that is Canadian and he must be stopped. jbg, No country that has encouraged terrorist attacks against it is ever going to be a good neighbour to Canada. Maybe you're thinking of Switzerland?
  15. Michael Hardner, I said it's being done with a very explicit cause. And I say they are trying to hide it but aren't successful. You haven't read it correctly. The cause is racist hate and hate for other ethnicities and they don't hide that fact very well. But Americans will try! There are all kinds of 'constitution', 'amendment', blah, blah excuses for not allowing Hispanics to become citizens but we Canadains know that's just b.s.
  16. Shady, bombing aren't more deliberate or at the same scale? You bet that's crazy talk! But I agree with you that I'm better than the US's stooping to bombing air raid shelters, civilians with drones, ambulances, torturing, or other atrocities they've been caught at. IN fairness Shady, all sides do it and no side has a monopoly on it. Just don't pretend the US doesn't and then tell me I'm better and think that they don't. So why don't you start demonstrating that you're better than that?
  17. In defence of those bombings of civilians during WW2, if in fact anything about it can be defended? Today's bombing of civilians by the US/Nato is even more deliberate, if not of the same scale as was Dresden or London. But that's not the issue. The issue is that it's just a diversion from having to face the fact that suicide bombing is as legitimate as any other kind of bombing that kills people. Moreso because it results in fewer deaths.
  18. Michael Hardner, post #155. But you said: You're getting it anyway. Finally some body gets it!
  19. Michael Hardner, the reason why you have to answer up is because you showed your support for him with your personal attack against my integrity. You know very well what I'm talking about. Man up or run for cover.
  20. Michael Hardner, No answer? What is this stigma you and so many others place on suicide bombers? Is it a legitimate form of warfare against the enemy if the enemy is the 'right' enemy?
  21. That's fine Michael, we can try to split hairs but the message gets across. I think it's probably well enough hidden that it will escape any notice from the moderators. IN fact Michael, it appears that it could even be finding encouragement! In any case, nobody is coming to his rescue and helping him out with an explanation of why it's 'messed up' to think that suicide bombing is worse than any other method of killing people. In fact Michael, I would bet that I could find an example of a soldier fighting for the 'allied' cause during WW2 being awarded the Victoria Cross for bravery that would be stated as sure suicidal. Explain to me where you see the difference Michael.
  22. Michael Hardner, Once again a polite and rational post. It's catching and it's convincing me totally that it's the best approach by far. But I think you are sort of mssing a point or two. Those that oppose immigration, in either the US or Canada, are doing it with a very definite and explicit cause. It's just that in the US they aren't so clever in hiding their hate for other people of different ethnicities or races. If you listen to them they will spit it out like the venom it really is. Canadians are just a little more subtle about it. And of particular interest to note, the ones who oppose immigration the most are those of the extreme political right, in both countries. It't s the brand of the extreme right, just as it was the brand of Nazism. Let it be known that they can't fool us into believing that it's a problem of the left. The right brags it up enough to blow their cover!
  23. Topaz, this thread is about Harper and his CPC, and taking Canada to close to US aggression throughout the world. I appreciate that you have a reasonable question but this isn't the thread for it. We must resist that and I think the Canadian people are starting to understand. Hopefully before Harper becomes the cause of a terrorist attack against Canada for our complicity in US crimes against humanity. Jean Chretien showed us the way and I believe that Trudeau will too. Or for that matter, any other party than the CPC. Thanks.
  24. On Guard, I don't believe in the virgin thing anymore than I believe in the wings on the back thing. Religious beliefs of any sort can be equated to low brow Neanderthal menatalicall I'm sure you would agree. Or, if not then no offence. I understand some people still believe.
  25. b_c, you are right, it's not just the CPC it's Canadian policy. But you have to understand that the CPC is pulling the strings because they have a majority in parliament. It's somewhat different than in your country where Obama can't totally pull the strings. There is little doubt that Canada stands responsible for the evil being perped by the CPC. We have to get rid of Harper and replace him with a PM and party that is opposed to wars.
