  1. I would put the onus on Hal to find these '3' cases of sexism against men. He's the one that brought it up and when he does present these cases, then perhaps we can discuss it.
  2. Honestly, I don't know how to respond to this.
  3. Why aren't other victims of sexual assault from the catholic church or nhl players being accused of lying for personal gain. It seems that the FN victims are being singled.
  4. Except when it's you speaking about the Cbc. And I'm now putting you on ignore so I don't get suspended.
  5. Of course they said that. My reading comprehension is pretty good.
  6. Why don't we hear this logic with other nhl player victims and victims from the church?
  7. Perhaps the posters can provide reasons why the FN victims are not to be believed when other victims are?
  8. Again you try and introduce the Cbc into a very important topic.
  9. [quote name="Scott Mayers" post="1062614" timestamp="1434219005 ____ I referred to women as having sexual controls above men to which you seemed to miss the point. Women, as opposed to men, are capable of opting for sex at any time regardless of who they are whereas men do not. That is, any women can get laid at any time without a problem of their own volition (That's why they are highly unlikely to 'rape' a man.) Yet men don't have such options. Ironically, women also expect men to also act dominant and propose to them in social games which only adds force to why men are also more likely to be convicted as predators. In other words, women are at least as equal if not more to blame for any apparent sexual deviancy in society. ___ Ask yourself this: why is it that while no one prevents any sex from coming to online intellectual discussion forums that the vast majority of them are men? Is it because we overtly discriminate against women by denying them access? Yet, the 'women-only' groups are directly and unapologetically discriminatory. Why? Because women are greatly outnumbered by men here which may or may not (I'm not really sure on this) influence certain men to attack women when they try to stand up for their rights. Inevitably women who fight back get labelled as radical feminists, men haters etc. It goes on and on ad nauseum. This turns off women from participating in these forums. Someone asked me why I don't recommend my gf's join this forum and I said I would be embarrassed to refer women to this site.
  10. This case is just one of many examples that sexism is alive and thriving even in the scientific community. It's really a no brainer.
  11. Are you insinuating the FN victims are lying?
  12. I don't believe there is any difference. Every victim provided a first hand account and for some odd reason it's the FN impact statements that are being dismissed as heresay. I'm not really sure what else it is you are asking.
  13. Solomon has never interviewed Balsillie.
  14. I started a thread to hold a member accountable to their statement. Status updates are far too easy a method of posting an opinion and not backing it up (even if it's rhetorical). Especially when it's directed specifically at single mothers. One of the more vulnerable groups in society that don't always stand up for themselves.
  15. What puzzles me about people questioning the credibility of FN victim impact statements is that we didn't hear this outcry when victims came forward to accuse members from the Catholic Church of assault. Or when nhl players came forward to accuse coaches of assault. The questioning of FN's statements is clearly based on racism
  16. I don't understand the stance against 'FN's' standing up for their cultural rights. Clearly they have every right to fight for their identity. Why is there so many people fighting against their struggle and why aren't there more people fighting alongside them.
  17. Why is it a no-brainer? Obviously, we need to work together.
  18. Probably not a good idea. Clearly, they need to own the management but perhaps they can be offered guidance. There is obviously mismanagement at all levels. We need to work together to resolve them. It's a no-brainer.
  19. Stop speaking in riddles. Explain yourself.
  20. Some members? What about the rest of us? remember, you need to speak to the lowest common denominator.
