  1. If he doesn't, I'm sure Gates could pull a "Bono".
  2. The Noble Justin Maybe "Mr.Nobility" should have looked for a seat in a more "Noble" kind of riding like Mount Royal and not in Papineau, a working-class riding with a large Haitian population.
  3. Oh I get it, just like the IPCC report on global warming. Not lies, but misleading.
  4. Older? Wiser?
  5. Justin Trudeau denies reports about his future This was way back in June 27,2001. So he's a public speaker. After 6 years of public speaking, he's ready to begin working on a lucrative government pension. And what has he to offer? Nothing, except being his father's son. Unlike his father,he doesn't come close to having the smarts. With the Trudeau name he'll try to ride the coattails of his father's reputatiion, the same way his divorced- from -Pierre-since- 1977- mother does, by using the Trudeau name. Like Mother, like son. Hope the voters of Papineau show him that he doesn't deserve to represent them.
  6. Unfortunately for those that do their "little" bit ,the David Suzukis of this world say that's not enough. And with pushing the Kyoto agenda it involves buying credits which at last count mean sending $10 billion+ to foreign countries like Russia, and that's only the start.I commend you for your efforts,I have been doing similar things, but this goes way beyond these small steps.
  7. Your solution will be solving the "crisis" of global warming only in your mind. You know even less about Kyoto. Better stop while you're ahead.
  8. $10 Billion to start with, and your grandchildren won't even be breathing crisp air.
  9. Justin Trudeau seeks election as Liberal Dion better get a new French-English dictionary. Here's a guy who hasn't had a real job in years, and what is his "job" anyway?. How does Trudeau running for MP prove he's "Courageous". I could think of real jobs that require "courage", and running for Parliament is not one of them.
  10. Paul Martin solicited the support of the terrorist group After being told by CSIS and then external affairs minister Joe Clark to steer clear of International Sikh Youth Federation because of terrorist connections, Martin still sought out their support and praised the terrorist group. And the terrorists said it was good to have politicians in their back pocket. Are there other terrorist groups that the Liberals look for support? Scarey, really, really, scarey.
  11. Call the Liberal MP's and have them get the Clean Air Act pushed through committee. That will be a good start.
  12. Next week......live on this stage.....right left from the CBC......The Environ Mentals.....with lead vocals by Kookie Soo Zooki .... doing their global smashing hit....I Pee See See Oh Too.
  13. Look at what Harper went through to get there, was no shoe in like Chretien. It's just not fair.
  14. What are you talking about? A opposition leader that doesn't stay as an opposition leader is an opposition leader that has done his job well. Harper has done his job well. Polls from Feb.15-18 2007 And he's even doing better on this poll!
  15. latest polls from Feb 15-18 polls Feb.15-18 2007
  16. You overplay the degree of uncertainty. While precise estimates may be impossible, trends and analysis are very possible, and that is what the report points out. Why anyone can't see that releasing enough CO2 into the atmosphere to change its concentration significantly is also going to have a detrimental effect on a global level is beyond me. But still the IPCC manages to make a conclusion without the significant part of these changes reflected by natural variablity, an amout that involves 95% of greenhouse gases. Nor do they even give any other possible theories for this temperature change except the less than 5% caused by man. This is science?
  17. Seems to be unanimious
  18. You got it. Thanks Canuck E Stan. "is that your final answer" I don't know if these polls can be closed off, but I figure it ran long enough. The Bloc Quebecois have been voted the most effective opposition. My basic reason for the Bloc is, they know what their agenda is (Quebec) and you don't hear about flip flopping between themselves or their perceived mandate. The Liberals change like the wind with each other and their policy that they don't seem to have. Can't be effective if the public only sees a party that makes policy changes for the sake of only trying to get back in power. One other note,I think Harper and the Conservatives were the most effective opposition party( and I know some wish they still were).....but I guess that's why they're not in opposition any longer
  19. That's exactly what it is. No,no..........it's about the enviroment and getting rid of greenhouse gases.......and that's why with Kyoto .... a $10 Billion cheque in the mail to a foreign country and presto! your greenhouse gas problem is gone........ until another cheque is required.
  20. Keepitsimple, Don't want to be too critical, but you really should read the posts, I posted this same article at 10:45 am this morning.
  21. You got it.
  22. Just you believes that, just you.
  23. For you it's not about the children, too bad.And it does little for a lot of parents. The Price of Day Care Can Be High
