This woman was completely out of control and again shows the air if entitlement of some of these people, it's completely disgusting.

She doesn't care what happens oand doesn't think she need to apologize for her conduct because no one can beat her in her riding. This is idsgusting and this woman Paula Fletcher is begging to be defeated, she's just begging for it.

Any politician who goers around not caring about their conduct because they think there seat is safe forever due to the make up of their riding is just begging to be defeated.

This woman is uspossed to be a professional. Is her position so weak that it cannot take any questions at all? Does she deem herself so superior that she expects everyone to agree with her and not question her motives or to question why Toronto's budget is out of control. Over and over again TO city council invites Canadians down to the city hall to ask questions and now when they do they get screamed at?

This is terrible and this woman should be ashamed of herself.

This isn't he first time shes yelled at citizens who voice their concern over the massive spending. She does this regularly. Lashes out and attacks and screams at any citizens who dare speak up against her. This is a fine example she's setting for children who hope to become politicians. Just scream and yell and don't let anyone question you or your motives, talk over everybody and don't listen to anyone but yourself. Bravo.

Not to mention she is a card carrying communist just like Trudeau was and Chreitien was. Not a pretend one like Jack Layton but this woman is a hard core communist.

Again, nothing I've said is libel. She works for the public and in the public eye, she should expect to be scrutinized, if she cannot take it maybe she should do something else.

She certainly didn't distinguish herself with her oratory skills. But seriously, what in blazes is this process supposed to achieve ? Whatever that sideshow was, it was useless for all involved. The parties involved leave the impression that they have inside knowledge as to how things work, but won't actually reveal it in their yelling match.

The ARA ? If you were homeless in the 1990s, and you don't like the ARA that means to me... you may have been beaten up by them. Is that the case ?

What the politician can do is only manipulate emotions. She is not able to do with analysing, reasoning based on investigation, fact, and detailed digits based on fully investigation on which part has been wasted, and which part can be solved in alternative ways.

I guess many politicians are just love to doing that to make their interesting groups to earn more.

Just like CAS, who always said they save children and there are many children can not be "saved". But they never let Ontario ombudsmen to investigate the complains, and let others investigate how many children's live become much worse after they 'save' them that most of them can not going to college include 1/3 will end up in correction system. And in the budget meeting, they did not talk about auditor find CAS sandals.

Actually, they care nothing but themselves. Just like they don't care "in care" pets abused in shelters. That is what they are.

You're always going on about CAS. Can you please link to the original post where you complained about them ? I doubt that it will help me understand your issue with them, but at least I'll be able to compartmentalize it slightly.

She was right though when he comes to cutting, there are some social programs that should never be cut. I would also suggest though that all the councillors and the mayor take a pay cut until the budget can afford it. Toronto, still has all the bills that the G20 is going to put on them and I feel for the taxpayers in the city of Toronto.

I suggest that we steer away from the theatrics of the political stage before we end up completely boondoggled like the US and start demanding as Canadian citizens that the government address monetary policy in its true forms and the inherant unfixable problems that come with it. Taxes, pay cuts and national debt are not the issue itself, they are the result. In my mind, we should be able to seperate the money needed to run the country from the commercial sector. With proper creation/cancellation policies the government could produce the money needed as shown in many articles and documents. Leave the commercial sector to the regular banks and let them continue with some form of fractional banking, with the proper utilization it could be a good tool to cool the over production we suffer from....just rambling.

Aging hippies run for municipal office in Toronto - wanna be communists who never go over reading the Marx doctrine in university - they are not the cream of the crop - ever watch them operate? Real mediocre idealogs of limited intelligence but have a taste for fine wine and feeling important when they are not....I had someone go through my garbage last week and got a call from the garbage police - my tiny little city supplied container was a tad to full --- and they threatened to fine me a guy with no money - much like the "green" biker crowd that fine a senior 150 bucks for peddling up a quiet one way residential street...not to mention fines for not having a bell on your bike...not to mention that their street sweeper gives me free garbage bags ---saves me a bundle...am I undermining the city government by taking a friendly kick back in the form of garbage bags? I am so bad.
