Personal Messaging within the forum

Everybody must routinely check their Personal Messages folder.

In the top right corner of the forum display there is a line with a few links that resemble:

My Controls · View New Posts · My Assistant · My Friends · 1,000,000 New Messages

Click on the last link to view your messages.

If you are sent more than one message, you will receive only one pop-up message. The other messages will stay in a queue but will only be viewable from your New Messages folder.

If moderators need to communicate with you, they will send you a message and it will stored there. The onus is on the member to check their messages regularly. We have tested the messaging system through various combinations of computer operating systems and browsers. We have verified one constant: your messages are viewable in your New Messages folder until you delete them.
