I used to be just as ignorant of these issues Scott, growing up in a full tilt Zionist household where Israel could never do wrong. I feared the Muslim just as you do now (yes YOU do fear them - hence the intense hatred). Then I began to ask questions, my own questions. I sought answers to what I found so difficult to rectify and since have learned a great deal. In theory UNSC 242 provides for withdrawal to "secure and recognized boundaries". The problem with Western efforts to resolve the ME issue is that they tire of waiting for (never to arrive) Arab cooperation, and lean on Israel for unilateral concessions.

The tragedy is that in Arab and Muslim countries a massacre is happening. A genocide protected by the silence of the world. Well stated, it's funny China is getting a free pass whilst it pays for the genocide in the Horn of Africa. France has troops on the ground (like what happened in Rwanda) and the MSM is silent unless it's screaming for the US to solve the problem of Darfur. The UN holds useless meetings and the President of Sudan screams what genocide, when he's not blaming Israel for the genocide. Yet the rapes, killings and cruelty continues.
