guyser Posted July 27, 2007 Report Posted July 27, 2007 Because she is caucasian. One of the finest looking caucasian women in the house. Caught her on TV last night, had a good look..... you are right. Reminds me of Aishwariya Rai , watched one of her quasi-bollywood movies last night....couldnt look away. Something in the water must produce such beauty. Quote
jdobbin Posted July 27, 2007 Report Posted July 27, 2007 (edited) That was just dobbin's attempt at finding somebody to fight with. Take him on if you want. Not very enjoyable really. Actually, I was pointing out your specific sexism even after you took issue with it with Kinsella. Do you deny this? Edited July 27, 2007 by jdobbin Quote

M.Dancer Posted July 30, 2007 Report Posted July 30, 2007 Thread is unlocked....... I thought trash talk was saying unkind things......anyway, I also thought this thread was about why Ruby made the front page of the Star.....which is obvious.......she is Sikh, and so are the singhs......she is an MP, and she gets complaints. Considering that the star reaches to untennable heights to include a GTA connection to almost every story, having Ruby quoted is no surprise. Shakeyhands Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Thread drift? Why not?Anybody who insists one being called "Dr." because they completed a chiropracter's course deserves scepticism. Her photos suggest that she very much wants to be the centre of attention. I suspect that she is in politics for that reason alone. Uh, for the same reason most magazines put beautiful young women with plunging necklines on their covers - people look and buy. http://www.conservative.ca/?section_id=105...districtId=1567 Odd that. He has it on his website and in government websites. http://www.ic.gc.ca/cmb/welcomeic.nsf/min/...ntary+Secretary What exactly do you have against Ruby Dhalla? Her looks, her being a chiropractor? This is what you said earlier in the thread. http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index....=9542&st=04 Do you think this is appropriate? Do you think any MP should be addressed like this? Over and over you have brought the issue up. I guess only some of us respect the moderators around here. Yet you accuse me of 'stalking' to the point the moderators had to step in and tell you to stop? Do explain how your actions aren't stalking... M.Dancer Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 (edited) I don't find Bluth's comments sexist in the least. Just because she is a woman doesn't mean we should talk about her looks. Heck (wooaa! language!!), 'member when Stockboy Day rode out in his neoprene jumpsuit straddling his aqua croth rocket? Did anyone say watch how you describe him, avoid sexist language? How about Harper in his ghey vest and cowboy hat last year at the Stampede....did anyone not comment on his looks....or when he was wearing his CBC correspondants vest with Bush and Fox.....should we not have pointed out he looked like a major nerd for fear of the sexist language police? Treating women differently from the way we treat men is sexist. She's a politician, she has as much right to be either praised or ridiculed as any other clown. I asked you about the comment long before any moderator commented on it within this thread and you brushed it off. And now you post in the same thread that was closed but your comment is left there for everyone to see. You said you would only address certain comments in certain threads. Is this not the appropriate thread? Quote

Yeah, it's typical of the double-standard of the left. Which is what I pointed out in commenting on Kinsella. Unfortunately, it got drowned out by the never-ending, never-thinking attacks on here. Quite interesting given that incessant behaviour is Kinsella's personal style. Quote No one has ever defeated the Liberals with a divided conservative family. - Hon. Jim Prentice

Treating women differently from the way we treat men is sexist. She's a politician, she has as much right to be either praised or ridiculed as any other clown. On the same day or so that this thread was introduced, a thread was introduced about Kinsella and Liberal sexism. I pointed out that hypocrisy on the part of the poster. As for this thread, it quickly devolved into who you would do given the chance. You'll notice no women have posted here. I suppose they might have an issue with comment about a woman's body parts. Michael Bluth Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Because her front end made up for it. Harper has a big ol' arse too....... ...and who really gives a flying flick? It ain't important. Exactly. And the comments on Harper's horrible vest and hat choice from a few Stampede's ago also focused on his gut. Of course it ain't important. But hey, neither are the rules on this board. Just make sure you don't offend certain posters here or they will ask you the same, unimportant, questions ad nauseum. Charles Anthony Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 There has been baiting in this thread and elsewhere in the forum. The discussion in this thread degenerated into personal attacks against fellow members and third parties. All of this must stop. I will be blunt: focus the discussion on politics and follow the forum rules. Otherwise, suspensions will be issued without warning.
