sharkman Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Wolfowitz displays the exact same attributes we see from most neo-cons when they get power:-a willingness to abuse office for personal or ideological reasons; -disdain for governance and institutional practices; -nepotism, cronyism and an overweening sense of entitlement; -self-righteous criticism of the wrongs of others when they oppose his own wrong-doing; -a presumption of exceptionalism -- the rules shouldn't apply to them; -foul-natured foul-language; and -a penchant for viciousness and bullying. In all seriousness, this kind of stereotyping, name calling and slander is really getting boring. Can't you do better than make silly accusations without a shred of evidence to back them up? Quote

In all seriousness, this kind of stereotyping, name calling and slander is really getting boring. So does your made up bushit. I called no names, I slandered no-one. What you call a stereotype, I call observation. Can't you do better than make silly accusations without a shred of evidence to back them up? Evidence? The evidence is history. But okay, how about a neo-con example or two for each one of those -- 1. Abusing office for ideological purposes -- Reagan-Iran-Contra. 2. Disdain for institutions -- Stockwell staying in office while investigated by the RCMP 3. Sense of entitlement - Barbara Amiel 4. Self righteous criticism of critics - the Bush administration labeling Iraq war opponents unpatriotic. ... [i'll finish this later.] Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Indeed, with such sweeping generalizations, there must be "neocons" all over the frickin' place....France, Russia, UK, Italy, China....anywhere politicians eat and breath power. In Canada, "neocon" is just another slur for the party that turfed the Grits. And as usual, the term is imported from the USA. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).

Topaz Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 Have anyone ever wondered why the Wolfman left Bush?? I found an interesting article about two years ago telling why Libby went after Plame or was it really Cheney? We haven't heard why they would do that and perhaps I found out why? Remember the WMD's and not being found and over and over again people were asking the Bush government were they where?? Well, I read that this govt under the direction of the Wolfman, tired to go through Turkey and plant WMD's within in the north. The CIA heard something was going on and sent Plame to stop this from happening. This made Cheney boiling mad and sought revenge. We know how corrupt this govt is and they would do and say anything to protect themselves, after all, they DO have the power on thier side. Quote
