jbg Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I see Harper as way better than Dion, maybe Dion's lack of English is part of the problem but the Libs aren't ready for the big time yet. They need to stay in the penalty box for a couple more terms. And, as Emerson suggested, while still a Liberal MP candidate from Vancouver-Kingsway, pull the goalie. jbg Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 There's absolutely nothing wrong with Dion, except maybe his English. Even that I think isn't so bad.Zis is my Hanglish. I spit at the Hanglish victory and Hanglophones. Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Michael Bluth Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 You could always ape Brian Mulroney and try to be all things to all people. Or you can do what you believe in and hope that some people see it your way, and some people respect your honesty. I prefer the latter course, though I am, of course, not a Canadian. That is the one difference with Harper as leader. He realizes there is less than a majority of Canadians who would vote for him. He is focusing his efforts on appealing to those Canadians who are in his universe of potential voters. Quote No one has ever defeated the Liberals with a divided conservative family. - Hon. noahbody Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I think you meant to say you don't agree with everything Dion does, like I don't with Harper. Right? Reread my post. S-L-O-W-L-Y. Here's what your post says. Please read it S-L-O-W-L-Y: "For the record, I agree with ALL of Dion's policies like you agree with all of Harper's." If that is what you meant, please read the post I wrote previous to that, S-L-O-W-L-Y. I stated I don't always agree with Harper. Explain the the Ambrose comment? And do you think the courting of Emerson was good for his party's popularity or his own popularity within the country? Quote

If that is what you meant, please read the post I wrote previous to that, S-L-O-W-L-Y. I stated I don't always agree with Harper. Bravo. Exactly my point. I meant that I don't have to agree with all of Dion's policies to support him in the same manner that you don't have to agree with all of Harper's to support him. Explain the the Ambrose comment? Ambrose was an example of Harper governing according to polls, therefore party popularity. If I have to keep explaining everything to you though, you will go on ignore soon. And do you think the courting of Emerson was good for his party's popularity or his own popularity within the country Congrats, one example proves your whole point. Oh, before you ask what I meant by that - it was sarcasm. Quote It's kind of the worst thing that any humans could be doing at this time in human history. Other than that, it's fine." If I have to keep explaining everything to you though, you will go on ignore soon. Contrats, one example proves your whole point:) Er.. wait... Given the circumstances, wouldn't you agree, it was wise to replace her? You might even call it an example of good judgement. Congrats, one example proves your whole point. Oh, before you ask what I meant by that - it was sarcasm. Actually it is a very good example. Since I prevously mentioned the enviro plan you should edit your comment to say "Congrats, two examples prove your whole point." Then maybe replace the sarcasm comment with "Gee, I learn something every day." Quote
