If elected, I will not raised taxes. After that how big the taxes have been raised. Now They voted to raise themselves over 25% pay and then another 2% within 4 months. What a word from the politicians? I don't buy it. They just want to get elected. I will never believe what the politicians have promised.

I believe in politicians. And the Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus, and Mother Nature and truth in advertising... Actually, I believe none of what I hear and only half of what I see. Read the fine print and do nothing without a lawyer at hand. And when someone says "trust me", don't.

Politicians are like everyone else: good, bad, somewhere in between. They are not some sort of class of nefariata solely concerned with enriching themselves. I'm convinced that none of the people who think politics is about getting rich ever held a job that paid over $100,000 per year. Most politicians take huge cuts in pay to be politicians.

Given that most people don't make 100K per year, that a safe bet. I would also offer that most politicians upon entering the ...ahem....calling don't make $100,000 either. Now the polityicians who actually win, they generally do have money becasue as rookies it often takes a persoanl investment to get started. But the average municiple counsillor or whatever.....they tend to be decidely middle class.....

...On the otherhand I have known a cabinet minister and an under secretary.....and neither had a problem with Forest Hill Property taxes and neither took a pay cut either....

RIGHT of SOME, LEFT of OTHERS

If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us

I believed in a platform of a party at one time, and guess what....... It was all a LIE. Am I bitter? You bet because I helped pull the vote for many of them, never again.

I will only believe what I experience from now on. Yes they all lie and cheat and look for the "COOKIES" at the end of the day...... They are all "COOKIE" monsters who want to put their hands into a cookie jar, but put very little back into the "COOKIE JAR", they do not like to share those cookies.. ONLY take

Most have forgotten that THESE RIGHT"S were AGREED to, Start Applying them in CANADA-

It remind me of a politician that said he would cut 5 billions of taxes, didn't do it, then the next election come, at the last week, he suddently feel like the first thing he need to do if elected is to cut 700millions of taxes... And he get elected...

I think these day we have to be blind to trust our politician, we need to check em and make sure they don't feel to comfortable.

I would be wary of any person who takes a pay cut to enter politics.

I think we should be wary of anyone entering politics period. So very few are doing it for the public good; even if they start out that way it doesn't last long. To them the game is more important than the people back home who elected them.
