Elizabeth May confuses me though....that I now question what I thought I know. She claims on MDuffy interview that what she and Dion had agreed to was "transparent"...because it was not a backroom deal. They actually discussed it on the phone. Unless she's a complete liar (you know, the kind who can look you straight in the eye and lie to your face)...or she also has problems with the English language? Dion has problems with the English language. And now he's trying to get Elizabeth May into the debate too. I guess to make his handicap less obvious? Or to give us a hilarious entertainment? Quote

May always said she would run in Nova Scotia and she is. I don't see what the big deal is, after all, the results is up to the voters there, she may lose or she might win, power to the people!!! Somehow I can't get exited enough about a couple of disenfranchised Liberals to mount the barricades for them. Colour me selfish. But really, trying to call it a disenfranchisement of voter's rights is trying to stir up a tempest in a teapot like the fabricated hysterical Liberal attacks on the Conservatives that we've seen plenty of in these threads. I suspect the MJ party isn't running candidates in lots of places too, thereby disenfranchising druggies, but no one seems to be blaming the head of the party for undemocratic behaviour. A REAL issue to attack the Libs on is their blatantly undemocratic policy of running unelected candidates on the sole basis of gender. Quote
