VANCOUVER — A Canadian computer hacker with a mission to expose pedophiles has brought down a former American judge who’s been sentenced to 27 months in jail for possessing child pornography on his home computer.

The 26-year-old Langley, B.C., hacker told Global TV he did several months of investigating on Ronald Kline, a former Superior Court judge from Irvine, Calif.

This piece of scum had also been charged with molesting a 14 year old boy.

But in the States you can molest a young boy 25 years ago and not be charged with it

Before the latest arrest, 20 Superior Court judges signed a petition supporting Kline in his bid for re-election.

And to think right wingers think we should be electing judges just so we had judges who do what he thinks the public want ( for votes come election time) and not what is right

I heard about this story, and it is indeed sweet and scary at the same time. A judge, who is supposed to be protecting the public from this garbage is instead collecting it for himself.

Here in Canada, they don't put up with that kind of nonsense. That is, judges wouldn't accept the evidence he discovered while hacking. The story I read says a B.C. judge said he would be acting as an agent of the RCMP while doing this, so the evidence would be thrown out. Kind of sounds like judges protecting their own to me.

I'd condemn it, it doesn't really matter much that he was elected since I'm sure even government appointed people have their flaws as well.

Reading the story I realized this scumbag was an elected judge.

I was simply pointing out that electing judges,as right wingers here in Canada think we should be doing,doesnt give you law abiding judges who will punish criminals properly as they seem to think will be the case

Well this is interesting on some levels. The Judge had some issues you'd say. But looking in the legal side of things (oh now that's a good one) would the judge get away with it on a technecality of his privacy was invaded ect ect? The other guy could be considered a hacker with malicious intent. The law is messed up that way. Actually the laws are sound for the most part, the system is quite flawed.

But being him a judge, he needs to be terminated imediatly, house arrest ect. Charged with whatever.
