250 years? To survive further, America Needs a Federal VAT

After 70 years, you fought a bloody civil war.

Then, after 100 years or so, you created finally a central bank: that at first test, f*ed up its role.

In the 1960s, your federal government passed a law imposing rules on personal relations - overriding state laws.

Nowadays, your federal government is buying faster than your country can produce new stuff.

To be sustainable, America needs a federal consumption tax.

Why doesn't the US just impose a 90% income tax and put 99% of Americans in cardboard boxes? Think of the money citizens can save to pay the IRS.
