How do US states vote for independence? It’s exactly the same situation as Alberta or Quebec.

I believe the last time they threw a bunch of tea into the harbor and, if folklore and song is accurate, performed some acts on alligators which would get them arrested for animal cruelty today in order to fire upon the British. Seems to have worked

It would take a Constitutional amendment or a war.

That’s my point. So many pro-American posters complain how unfair we are to Alberta separatists but ignore the inconvenient truth that secession is outlawed in the US for all practical purposes.
