blackbird Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 (edited) "She told The Canadian Press ahead of her trip that she stands in "absolute solidarity" with First Nations as they oppose moves by the provincial government in British Columbia to weaken its version of the declaration." I thought Governor Generals were supposed to be representing all Canadians, but she doesn't appear to care about the rights of private property owners in B.C. This is terrible and doesn't bode well for the rest of Canadians who are 95% of the population. Gov. Gen. Mary Simon at United Nations to talk about Indigenous rights Also, what is she doing, supposedly at the U.N. as a representative of Canada, when she was not elected? Canada is supposed to be a democracy. She should not be there speaking on behalf of Canada or anyone else. That is not the Governor General's role. Edited April 20 by blackbird Quote

Burn down your home, steal your women and make a loincloth out of your scalp too much over the top for you? You'd just have to say that over and over and louder and louder to convince the same fools.
