North Korea and Iran maintain a cooperative and strategic relationship wrt missile development.

No doubt they  did - promote the idea of possessing ICBM - Baghdad bob syndrome. 

The reason for Iran's pursuit of this advanced technology is to have an Aegis against conventional attack? 

The regime would without a doubt promote this capability - propaganda works? 

Where's the evidence of successful launch, we're talking of taking test shots tens-of-thousands of miles down range - a projectile that travels into space for the majority of its trajectory and re-enters the atmosphere at incredible speeds - making it difficult (impossible) to intercept in terminal flight. 

Iran would be incredibly foolish to install a cobbled, miniaturized nuke warhead onto a prototype ICBM platform for an attack .............. anywhere - the launch would be detected  immediately (most vulnerable) and Iran would cease to exist. 

During the 2008 Dem primary, then-Senator Hildebeest warned that the US would use overwhelming force if Iran  launched a  nuke attack on Israel. 'If I'm president, we will attack Iran' and  that, 'Iran will  be 'totally obliterated' in  response to such an attack. 

I believe the dumb beotch meant it - on the other hand she would have been far too intelligent to launch something akin to 'Epic Fury' .......... much to Israel's chagrin.
