August1991 Posted April 10 Report Posted April 10 In 1976, we Canadians adopted a federal law defining citizenship. If any person is born in Canada, the person is Canadian - has Canadian citizenship. (The only exception is children of diplomats.) BTW, we Canadians can also have several passports. Quote
