I'm certainly not an expert in the field of aviation but based on everything I've read, the F35 is clearly the better choice for Canada. I still believe that what will tip the balance once and for all to the F35 is the fact that Carney has shares in Lockheed Martin. Carney is only in the game to enrich himself. This has been Canada 's way for decades....it is how procurement goes with tons of different agencies that have nothing to do with defense of the nation have a say in what equipment is purchase...But wait, it does not end there....the Canadian public has been brain washed in to thinking the grippen is by far the best plane, because they have been and are subject matter experts "who knew that paying taxes had so many benefits"......and those pilots that tested those planes in 3 separate completions were talking heads for Lockhart what do they know "apparently nothing", reminds me of sending my wife out to buy my power tools and her coming back with a screw driver when i asked for a cordless drill.........and now we know how the game is played what is it that we can change so that soldiers have the best equipment possible....or at least made by the second cheapest bidder...
